Did you not like it? I thought that little game we had was fun. Me and Deathjamm laying in ambush for you two was pretty tense, Cooky commiting suicide was also a particular highlight. Maybe try some smaller maps if its just small team games? But this is what SOCOM is all about, stealth and tactics.

I bought the map pack for this but still not played them yet. Personally I prefer this to Killzone, even though I suck.

Fantastic, I love this game, and it looks like everyone is getting it. 'Modern Warfare' Fridays should have a decent turnout then.

Yeah Monty's, and we went into that Viper Rooms (just down from Wetherspoons IIRC). Good night out, not the biggest obviously but enjoyable nonetheless. Anyway, sooooooo, we have 'Modern Warfare' Fridays, what about 'Chequered Flag' Sundays? Incorperating Burnout Paradise, Motorstorm, Wipeout HD and any other racing games?

Did not know you were from Harrogate mate? Yeah a friend of mine can get cheap Hotel rooms and all food and drink half price in Holiday Inn. Did a mini pub crawl, went to one called 'Rehab' then down to a sort of Rock Bar, then did a couple more including Wetherspoons before ending up in a little Nightclub. Really enjoyable, nice area and people. Also tried Queing to get into 'Aunt Betty's Tea Rooms' for some Tea and Cake Sunday morning, but it was swamped with Blue Rinse's lol.

Phew, just had a weekend in Harrogate and drunk my own bodyweight in ale. Anyways, these themed nights sound good. It gives everyone a chance to get in on the action. Just decide on the day which game to play with the numbers available. Also good to see Socom - a PS3 exclusive - getting some support.:awesome:

Both good games IMO. But for me SOCOM just tips it right now, its just one big game of hide and seek, only funnier. Plus I think Choze is going to get it, I have it, and Cooky has it, so we could get a clan together.

Damn, I had already purchased the ones I have highlighted from the RB store, still, its nice of them to make the gesture. Oh, and if you can do Snow (Hey Oh) on expert guitar then you are a Rock God.

I got it for the PS3, its a shame it got completely overshadowed by SFIV. It really is a good game in its own right.

Not as often as I used to, but would not mind getting back into it. I mentioned CoD4 because of the new MW2 trailer, and know that at least 5 people have it, whereas W@W did not seem to be as popular amongst us. I have it, and would love to play it, but if only two people have it then its not worth it is it?

We freakin ROCK!!!* *except on school nights And seriously, now that Modern Warfare 2 has been officially announced, we need to form a CoD4 squad for some private matches/training. This is gonna be big. Oh, and downloaded the R2 map packs, and I think Dwarf has too. So maybe a Resistance 2 night?

I have also just recently bought an Xbox, and going through the older games. I have absolutely fallen in love with Project Gotham Racing 4. Its incredible, it reminds me of the PS2 Gran Turismo's.

I keep looking, but it still seems quite popular at £20+. I will get it though, even if I have to pay that.

Socom is good, very hardcore and defo worth £20. But if I had to choose between that and Burnout, then Burnout would win every time.

Honestly, Choze totally bums this game. I am not a fan either, and I know a lot of people who are not keen on it. But trying to express anything other then ZOMG!!!!GAMEAWESOME!!!PWNS!TEH!COD!!!!1 is simply futile in this thread.
