Yeah I couldn't believe how shite both keepers were, playing a long game is no excuse, both of them should have been able to make good dives yet they looked as if they didn't care. Never seen a worse shoot-out in my life. Extra time was even worse with posession loss but it doesn't really need explaining.

See that shouldn't be your last post, because we haven't reached an agreement here. Choze can't state that Killzone 2 is the best online game around and he can't say that you are wrong in not liking it, but nor can you say 'it doesn't stand up well against several other modern FPSs and is nowehere near the greatest FPS that you make it out to be.' What you can do however is say why you think it is the best/not very good and appeciate that you can't be right or wrong. For me I think it is one of the most awesome online games out there, and people saying that it isn't won't put me off playing or make me think otherwise.

I bought a Wii the March after it first got released, really liked it at the start with Sports and Twilight Princess. After that I was disappointed with the new Metroid which didn't touch the brilliance of the first, Mario Galaxy which I thought was overrated and a bit easy. Then I looked at the future for the console and didn't like what I saw. So I sold my Wii (just over half a year ago) in order to get the PS3 and it is a lot less kiddy and I am far superior to the people on this board for owning one. In all seriousness though, I just prefer the games, there are plenty of incredible titles that I would have missed out on if I just kept hugging Nintendo. I broke out of the denial because inside I knew that I wasn't happy with what I had. I can see though why people love the console, it is great and I have no arguments with why everybody here prefers it over the rest.

I really want a new Crazi Taxi game on the PS3. I loved the first on PS2, they should definetly give it a revamp, it was ultimate arcade goodness. Great music, mental characters and awesome jumps and stunts.

Yeah I actually think Cook is hilarious, the stuff that comes out of his mouth is usually funny because you don't expect the chav speak to be that intelectual or chuckle-worthy, but it almost always is. -
^ Yeah apparently they are the worst trophies in existence - they pretty much require you to wait for/watch other players etc.

Had some really good games earlier, the only things I have to do ability wise is to get one more turret ribbon (and then the repair medal) and the air support medal which I have no ribbons for... Gonna take a while. I am still to unlock many of the combat things, including the headshot specialist surprisingly. I seem to get a lot of headshots but not enough in one match.

As much as I like Resistance I don't see how it works - I saw someone playing the demo and I was actually very impressed at the graphics, but the auto-aim thing... I don't see how online would work. It would be like the pointless Metroid Prime Echoes multiplayer.

I come into my element in R2, I think there is a more level playing field in Killzone where it's not always obvious where your enemies are and if they see you first and you have good aim you can't do a whole lot, which isn't the case in R2 And yeah can you tell us the specific locations as well (in depth) please? Lots of that was kind of obvious.

Super Mario Galaxy is vastly overrated. It's a good mario game but it was made far too easy and there wasn't enough actual platforming like you got in 64. Fallout 3 a great game yes, I think Killzone deserves the same amount of recognition as it because it is graphically the best but also the best online. I'll probably remember it more fondly than Fallout. (Even though it is awesome) R2 isn't going to be remembered like any of the previous but I like the style of it and the action and I sort of nailed the aim of it. I know all the intricacies and pleasures of the game and it's these little hints and tricks that made me play it so much.

Daft, I think we both know that you don't want to sell it, and you know that you'd miss it quite a lot. Has it been 3 seperate PS3s? If not then maybe it's beyond repair. That or you should stop putting burgers in it.

My PS3 is fine, the only problem I had with it was caused by noobish ability to turn it off properly.

I think that in this game the graphics play a huge part, I mean if the graphics were average it would still be a great game but I think this is one of the rarer cases in which graphics significantly improve my enjoyment of the game. The online mode is the best for the FPS genre in my opinion. Haven't bothered really playing the campaign because it isn't that fun, but the classes and weapons in this keep it really interesting.

It's for scoring the most points from the top 1,3,6 and 10 % of people in the week. I managed to grab a 6% one.

The more I play this the more awesome it becomes. I just love the variation. I just tried out the standard assault rifle earlier for the first time in ages and remembered how fun/good it is. There's so many cool combos of abilities its great, just hard to pick one to stick with. Maybe the whole point isn't to stick with one.
