Ditto. I still keep it horizontal though, it just doesn't seem right being vertical, even if it looks better.

I thought the whole Death thing was monstrously out of place - the cut-scene where he was killed was completely un-epic and random. It was a little hobbit with a knife. I was expecting the guy to turn around and slash him like the other 50,000 enemies he faced prior to that. Plus, if you've defeated Death, theoretically all other enemies shouldn't matter. At least make that boss a good/hard one. Yeah it is amusing how they've not even tried to differentiate itself in the smaller things, proper laziness there.

It's funny because I was originally going to say that it's something that would interest non-ps3 owners, but it's just not close quality-wise. Daft makes a good point as well, the protagonist is hardly riveting. And that graveyard section did look pretty poor, as did the whole fighting Death platform thing.

It looks great. Hopefully it's like GUN but better. The targeting system has been done many times before but it looks pretty cool, nice visuals as well. It has a lot going for it.

When people said God of War rip off I didn't realise the extent to which it was true. Played the demo, it's just unbelievable how much this game has copied it. From big things like the cinematic camera angles when wondering around to small things like the green gas balls for health, and QTE boss finishes, it doesn't cease to show you how desperate they were to create an identical experience.

Tbf it only worked out at £5 for him so it can't be too damaging. And Jav, I've really never understood the complaints levelled at the platforming. It's piss easy, there's only a couple of sections where it takes a long time and were you really knocked off ledges multiple times? I don't think I can remember a case of it. Still, each to his own.

They lobbed out a lot of what made Prime great in Corruption. I loved scanning stuff, even if it was a cardboard box it was still nice to know that the designers wrote an interesting essay about it. The list is in fact endless and I almost fell into the trap of explaining each point again.

Dragon Age looked like a standard fare RPG, uninspired dungeon fest and really isn't my kind of thing. I stupidly asked for MW2 for Christmas, checked to see if my mum still had the receipt but she said no, so I'll probably have to sell it and repay. I just don't want it. I don't like CoD basically. Rather have got the Fallout GotY so I could play through the DLC and then sell it on. Sigh.

I loved it. Finished watching the 4th one, showed it to a friend, unfortunately the feeling wasn't mutual. I just loved the Gin rip. The stuff about him murdering etc isn't that good but forgiveable because the rest is virtually golden.

I don't think anyone really raved about Trine. I played the demo, first 5 minutes were good, then it completely dragged.

The only thing that interests me there really is the Burnout Paradise game + DLC pack for £20. Still, it's good to see prices lowering. I'm waiting for a Braid price drop.

Just came across the place tonight without really thinking about it, nothing happened again. I'm tempted to ask Bethesda about it. (It's west of Paradise Falls if you want to check it out)

Yeah but it didn't seem like a glitch. As soon as I went over the crossing that weird noise sounded (it was at night) and then I looked at the sky it have inverted. It's called the drowned devils crossing... Just seems a bit too planned if you ask me, it's not like a conventional glitch that Ive seen in some videos.

Can someone set my mind at ease? I remember late in 2008 after playing Fallout a fair bit I came across the Drowned Devils Crossing. When I walked over this bridge, a dong-like noise sounded, but a really spooky one. Then the colour of the sky inverted for around 10 seconds before returning to normal. So the other week I tried showing my friend this on his PC version. Nothing happened. Tried doing it at different times of day but to no avail. So then I thought it might be one of those random events that only occur occasionally on different playthroughs and circumstances. So I googled it and found zero evidence of anyone coming across this weird happening, no forum poster claiming they'd witnessed it, no youtube video, no Fallout Wiki mention - just a plain old bridge. I also searched for 'sky glitches' and the sort to see if it was just something that happened anywhere, which also turned up nothing. So I must be mad and have terrible memory or I'm the only sod to have encountered it. It's weird because I feel quite solitary. Edit: the thing above sounds plausible because the name of the bridge is quite eery and so I thought it was definitely intentional.

I'd get the GotY edition, because after you complete it you'll never want to stop. I'm searching for a copy now actually so I can install them DLC.

Been playing it, finished the first level, spent ages trying to complete the second with 100% saving power but it made me lose too many people in the last section. I am really impressed with the control of the ship, it's brilliant. Hopefully there'll be a bit of level variation.
