haha wow, front page! nice one

couple of things to note: I wouldn't drive with "PETE" here. None of the links work, the images links directly to your site. As does testimonials, he has one tiny little mobile number as a contact. With no prices on his site and everything linked is 404'd, I doubt he'll get much customer base from that, all in all. Polite email to him and tell the dodgy arsehole to stick it! If you can find an email that is.

Not one mention of White Ninja : (

If you wanna see over GAME exposure, have a look at Southampton city centre. Theres a total of FOUR stores within walking distance of each other, -one in the main shopping centre, -another close to the Sega Arcade, -another store one on East Street which, if I recall, is less than 200 meters from the main shopping centre store and a tiiiiiiny concessions store in the debnenhams store. Madness, simply, madness. That said, the store finder can only locate three of the store. Punch In SO14 OYN in the box to see how stupidly close they all are

last time i went into a CEX was in Brum's high street store. Never been a fan of shops that smell of manure, customers with cigarettes in their hands and people (kids) crying. Oh and Wii's going for three hundred quid as well, san's wii sports :p

All/most GAME and Gamestation staff don't get laid as much as they deserve to, so cut them some slack. As for GS getting rid of retro, it depends on the store that seems to be selling the best with whatever footfall they get. Basically which ever store gets the richest students. Otherwise they just fill it pointless trashy tshirts and R/C Mario Karts.

it would be even better if she finds this thread. -
Well done for making it this far

I obviously don't. But as your comment was about as two dimensional as an IGN review, how about you enlighten the kind gentleman and ladies at home, eh?

Oh no, I said something bad about a zelda game. Don't worry, the next one will be EXACTLY the same.

christ, the wii version of resi 4.

wait till you Priestess Rao. Right, I got Okami at launch on the ps2, and I absolutely LOVE this game. Both versions are wonderful to play with this only complaint I have is how long is takes to get used to the Wii brush and the lack of examples it gives you at first, making you feel a bit, well uneducated. That said, I'm finding it a lot easier to get the brushes right despite the crappy-ness of the sensor bar. Only by experience and getting in your mind set do you know that with every battle, which there are loads of, to point the remote dead centre on the screen. Breaks the flow a tiny bit. Would of liked for the Wii version to have the same paper filter the ps2 version had. Even if the floral bloom cuts scenes, blatantly lifted from the ps2's version, had them. Seems a bit lazy. Mini-games (Urrrg whyyyyyyy) wise, the fishing works, the digging doesn't. Its not well informed having to force you to read the the tips so its a bit rubbish. At the end of the day, I'm going to use what Consolevania said about Resident Evil 4. If you've got a ps2, get the ps2 version. If you've got a Wii, get the Wii version. If you've got both. Get what you can find. It surpasses any of the recent Zelda games for sure.

MEN! BOO! To me, there's more quality on five then anything ITV has dished out over their week's "schedule" and without corrie they would of been in trouble years ago. Even from the bright sunny mornings from gmtv's horrible "tips for fat people in summer" and "tv for the sake of being on tv" is enough to put anyone off their brekkie. Oh wait, not really. What this thread needs is more Charlie Brooker. He'll set things right!

saw this doing its rounds earlier this morning. The puppets, they run rampant!

you calling her a whore? how bloody rude!

hmm simple test, try it without the cd interested in the machine. it sounds like it wants to factory rest the machine. if that doesn't work as intended, it looks you like you'll have to factory reset as per norm. so f8 when prompted (as you mentioned) and select the cd/dvd drive as the first boot. with ya packard bell disc in the machine, it should go about its business with only you to press a few keys here and there. just be warned if you have to the latter, any lost data after this is out of "public" arms reach.

Worked at Game myself for about the past 8 months after generally getting sick of Retail as a whole. The money all ranks up pretty quickly if you carry on with the pre-orders, buying overly priced games, but to be fair. When it comes to EA and GAME, those two companies do.not.get.on. That's why you're still seeing burnout paradise pre-owned for 35 or 40 quid. In terms of get stuff back on ya points card. It can't be done, GAME stopped doing that about 2 years ago? So basically, if you didn't present the card or gave your details at the time when you were no doubt asked by the sales team. There's nothing more they can do. One of the reasons why mystery shoppers are ever so frequently used in GAME is so they are all kept on the right rails. Suddenly its all coming back to me, KPIs, sales tracking, mystery shoppers, APPEC/XCite. Urg, well at least they paid fortnightly.

Grizzleys can end up like this: Sedated! Gloomy bears are stronger in numbers like small ants, they have an eternal taste for blood due to the lack of digestion. Gloomy also cannot be sedated, but can be conquered after a short amount of time, much like fighting off a load of five year olds. I'm going to have to go with Gloomy having the upper hands, they look a lot more...cunning.

Been watching a new anime from this season. Goes by the name of Kaiba and is from the folks behind Mind Game and Kemonozume. ((Following BLATANTLY lifted from the Something Awful thread)) The show is about a confused boy who wakes up without any memories and in the middle of a strange futuristic society. Due to amazing technological advancements people can now extract the mind and memories out of anyone and put them in any body. Because of this death has become meaningless, but the upper class prey upon the poor and steal their bodies and minds. Probably the most memorable thing about this show is the really unusual art style. Needless to say, this is a very very deep and loving, most times depressing storyline. So don't be warded towards "Oh this is just a kids show", much the opposite. Its only been out for about two months in Japan so no chance of a licence in US/Euro. Never the less theres a group out there subbing and punching it out in full HD. Which looks lovely. Now the interesting parts. http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=9178 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kaiba http://ureshii-fansub.org/?cat=24 and last but not least, the OP. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=-OH1ObXl1NI

Tips from my friend who now works at tt games in manc. You are going there to work for THEIR company. Not only because you enjoy computer games, but do some research into what they'll be doing in the next 5 years, APB for example, and how this product will greatly compete with the likes of other hard selling games out there. For the occupation as it is, think how they will want you work day by day. So for QA say a lot of stuff like "I have a great attention to detail, I have the ability to time manage myself to the given standard". Etc etc. If you quote a lot of ya cv as well then thats a good'un. Seeing as thats the main piece of material they'll be refereeing to and the main reason WHY they gave you an interview in the first place. Show them its not bullshit and most importantly be confidant in what you say. Dress code is quite an important one, never go too smart, go casual so ya not outshowing them, of course thats more research into what they dress like as well. No rock shirts and jeans. Smart shoes, trousers etc etc. If you look good and you feel that way, its more confidence points in ya jar and they'll know it. Other than that, Good Luck.
