I really need to play it through again as I loved it. I think I was very close to crapping myself a few times. Make sure you go to the loo BEFORE playing this game.

I was agreeing with you. Basically you have all the graphics giving the game a great atmostphere and tension, then you get a horrible glitch making you realise, it's just a game, and due to the nature of the glitch, it's frequent.

It's a shame FEAR2 is out at the same time (well maybe a week or two earlier) as I would have loved to have played that, but really it doesn't make sense when Killzone 2 will probably blow it and everything else out of the water.

Yeah, it really does grate when you see that as it pulls you right back into reality, a place you were trying to escape in the first place

Did you even own Red Steel?! Because if you did, you should know that you just lied to yourself right there. Anyways, I think this game looms fantastic. I have a PS3, a pre-order for Killzone 2, but I still want, and am getting this game. I mean come on! Customisable HUD. FULLY CUSTOMISABLE HUD! I may be a giant nerd (according to me workmate who knows alot about wrestling which is nerdy imo but meh) but being able to move HUD icons about just so its perfect for you is very much welcome to me. It can also keep the game looking fresh, I used to love that feature in Guild wars and always wanted it for other games. Here is a nice vid of that and some other affects Oh and talks about blandness, we have barely seen any environments apart from cities, and oh, inside buildings from these cities. It could be expected that the player will visit areas changed totally by the enemy. Wait, does anyone even know the story as that can be an indication of where the player will end up e.g. invaders from another dimension or invaders from outer space, etc. And finally, does anyone else get a goldeneye vibe? Were the developers aiming for that?

OMFG Im such a nub. Of course I can copy it over if I can see the file! Ah man thanks for that wake up call! : peace: And im pretty sure it's the network as its an old D link router G624T. I mean it was old when i got it off my friend. Plus cant use wired connection as router is in another room and i already have a long wire running from PC to router. EDIT: For some reason, said file that I want to copy has a size of 94 GB according to the PS3 yet on my system its 388 MB

Tried it yesterday. Tis ok really, though I think it ate up my Ps3's ram really fast causing it to crash (I assume it eats ram fast). Also could not figure out how to get HD versions of vids i was watching to show. does not seem to be an option. Playstation blog has new on a release of Ulitmate Ghosts and Goblins coming out for the americans tomorrow. Would really like to get this as I have never played a G & G game but it costs $20 and also I have no idea when we are getting this. Nice vid of the action here

Nice to see that it's working for people. I myself got a 1080p version of the latest naruto episode, and even though I have set the program to use all four cores of my comp, the playback still stutters. when it runs lower res stuff, I dont get the same problem so I am thinking it's down to an old router. Sigh, guess HD stuff will have to remain on my comp. Damn thing looked so fine as well.

I was wondering, did you guys know that apparently, Blu Ray dics are very hard to scratch. I read this somewhere (probably wiki) and have just been reminded after I purchased lost planet today. The disc is immaculate as are the rest of my games, so I am inclinded to believe this, and makes me all the more happy to buy used games, which i have been avoiding as I know it makes the games company zilch cash with the store getting everything.

That was like ages ago. Look at the crap that has been released since then. And Nintendo heads like Shigeru Miyamoto had leading roles in F-Zero GX's development. Also Smilebit is no more since they absorbed them. I dont expect any great things to come from their in house developers. Publish, yes, in house, no.

Why did the dreamcast fail again? Amoung gamers, it has such high popularity and had some truly class games (third strike! I miss you!) So yeah why? And if there was a successor (which there wont be, i mean come on) you think they would have learned from the previous mistakes?

It feels to me though like Arc Studios wont be touching guilty gear again. Also, publishing wise, they are fine yes, but they have messed around with some of my fave companies like smilebit, and then they have shat all over sonic imo.

If they do a good job with it like they did Blade Runner, Akira is an almost instant buy. Also If ghibli did earthsea, I am pretty sure I have seen that on blu ray.

Haha, problem is, when you go back to it, the tension just skyrockets to the same levels as it was when you left it. I found that the longer I played a session, the more I was able to cope, but if I turned it off and went back to it, I was back at square one.
