  1. You simply won't get matched against people who do have them, you'll notice no difference. There'll also be a playlist just for the new maps for a while. I'm assuming they will all also be placed into rotation in their relevant playlists. They will also be free in the Spring, FYI, just before the next batch roll around.
  2. New Halo maps tomorrow, isn't it? Who'll be ponying up the 800M$s?
  3. I love all those shows like British Transport Police and Traffic Cops - they're really genteel and civil shows about genteel and civil cops busting common, low key crime with the power of firm but fair reasoning. Makes a change from their explosively sensationalist American counter parts like S.W.A.T. ("When people are in trouble, they call the cops, and when the cops are in trouble, they call S.W.A.T!!") and in all honesty I feel like I live in a safer country as a result.
  4. Bleedin H Christ. I get one day extra off college (Monday, today... or tomorrow, I'm not sure which anymore) and my whole sleeping pattern goes to hell instantly. Still, at least I've to the peace of the night time to finish off these assignments for the week. Need to tread quietly, lest I wake the neighbours though. These floorboards are rather thin.
  5. "Careful! Don't touch him!"
  6. Yes, but most "Christmas" songs are pieces of such unimaginative, holly jolly bull shit. Listening to them is like sitting in a posh restaurant pretending to read the wine list while your two long time friends make snide comments to each other as their divorce draws ever nearer.
  7. That song looses some of it's lustre once you realise it's actually conformist propaganda.
  8. Bioware are developing something with Lucasarts, if I recall. Mass Effects 2 + 3 are coming too, yes.
  9. I actually started day dreaming if some folks on this forum got together and entered an old Nova or something.
  10. I prefer traditional carols, all the usual holly-jolly pop crap just gets shoved so constantly down your throat every year. Five minutes spent in Woolworths drives me insane. Even Fairytale of New York, which is saying something. Mad World from the Donnie Darko soundtrack is still the best Xmas No. 1 by a reasonably large margin.
  11. If you want to run that analogy, it's like keeping that Christmas decorations up all year because you can't be bothered taking them down and putting them up again.
  12. How much of that are actually playing with any regularity though? I'm still not near capacity and I've barely touched half of what I bought in months.
  13. 1. An armoured soldier with a long cloak kneeling. 2. Two figures playing with curtains. 3. A large crowd of people holding effigies and banners.
  14. Blech, too many constitutes, synthetics and chemicals in both. Fair Trade brand chocolate is where it is at, especially Gold & Blacks milk chocolate. Rich, with a higher then normal cocoa factor, it's so, pure, delicious and chocolatey it's like Halle Berry orgasming in your mouth.
  15. The books are just far too thick. The Hobbit is an amazing piece of storytelling, but LoTR just bogs itself down. And yes, Braindead is amazing. Though I will always consider The Frighteners to be a rather underrated classic.
  16. Fantastic films. Masterpiece though? Belle Ville Rendevous is a masterpiece. The Godfather, Le' Circe de Rouge, Trainspotting, Dr. Strangelove - All these films are masterpieces because they do a lot with with not very much. Lord of The Rings does a lot with a lot. It does it very well I grant you, but still. If you want a Peter Jackson "masterpiece" I'd hold something like The Frighteners over Lord of the Rings any day. They're certainly better then the books mind.
  17. Apparently Wii Points codes are all sold out. How does that work exactly?
  18. Say I wanted a scrolling arcade space shooter. Which one would you recommend to me?
  19. What Final Fantasy needs is a style change more then anything else. Go back to the cyberpunk fantasy of FF7 and then try something new from there.
  20. Well, you can't blame them for wanting to emulate their FA Premier League heroes.
  21. It would be great if this ran over Xmas and New Year week, so all our characters climbed out of the trenches and foxholes and played football instead.
  22. Isn't Kuju making a WW1 game?
  23. WW2 games wouldn't be so bloody tiresome if they were just bloody set some where else other then bloody D-Day. When do I get to play as a Japanese private at Iwo Jima, skulking through the jungles of Burma or storming the city gates at Singapore? Bloody round eyes need a good thrashing.
  24. Always a real one. The ones with the soft needles don't shed anyway.
  25. I don't know how some people burn through every new release so fast. I can wander down to Game or Gamestation or log into Steam at any time and purchase for a low price a selection from dozens of unsampled jewels for any system I own. Got a big back log of games that need completing as it is. Good ones too.
