  1. Carry case and screen protector has arrived! I can finally take it with me on my commute... yes!
  2. @Blade, let's get it... if you're up for two noobs joining you Lost?
  3. Whereas I see your point @Grazza and can see why people would prefer that, I'm still glad for the weapon breaking because I'd not have had as much fun with the game otherwise, because I'd have just fought with my weapons. Being in a position where I didn't want to lose some weapons (earlier on) I was forced to improvise and use the environment to fight. Now given how many good weapons are available to me as I play after a lot of time with the game I could just use my weapons to fight, but it's so much more fun dispatching foes with the environment! It really made me think out of the box and change the way I played... and I've loved it for it!
  4. The weapon breaking system encourages use of different weapons to find a style(s) you like and also, I think most importantly (and triumphantly), to use the environment to deal with enemies. The interactivity with the environment is the best thing in this game, it opens up so much gameplay, it really is astounding and it also gives a feeling that Hyrule is a living, breathing world.
  5. With @Blade showing interest I thought I made that grab it too and I always think the more the merrier.
  6. Once you get the Platinum will you be playing this again or are you done with it now?
  7. I think it should be compared with the 3DS really, the fact that the actual console itself is the portable part.
  8. It might well do, I've just done that from the beginning as it felt like the natural thing to do, haha.
  9. Yeah, I can see why Zelda doesn't resonate with some, just because it does so with me it doesn't leave me blind to see how others won't feel the same toward it. I can see why people don't like weapons breaking. I don't mind it and as a result of the way it's led me to play the game I'm glad it's in there as I would have approached things differently and not had as much fun with it. But I can see why others would rather they didn't.
  10. I'm not too sure what the problem will be guys, sorry. I just hold the Home button on the PC and it kickstarts the console.
  11. Yeah, sorry, I'd not meant the Shrines themselves added to the feeling of Hyrule being alive. Moreso the journey whilst searching for them... ...coming across random encampments, I'd use the environment to fight moreso than my weapons. I'd use stasis on a crate, hit it and send it flying into enemies, light a fire and blow it towards the encampment, chop down a tree and roll the trunk down a hill to crush bokoblins below etc. The interactivity with the environment is what does it for me. Moreso when you start experimenting with Octo Ballons... those things make for so much fun! If I could do things in Witcher that made use of the environment it'd make the world feel more alive.
  12. I hope this doesn't end up like the South Park situation... [tweet]842354767695355904[/tweet]
  13. I've not had any and I've done this many a time. What's the problem you're finding?
  14. Well, it was a land devastated to be fair, haha... but that's another point, I love the exploring for Shrines, using the environment, but there's no real joy for me in exploring Witcher's world as it's so static. Mind you, I love the Witcher Contract/Beast Hunt missions... Zelda could do with some more things like that. Big battles are a little too infrequent for my liking in Zelda.
  15. It's more densely populated, and in that respect it gives a feeling of busyness, but I feel it's not so much a living world they reside in but something akin to a film set, a fake world if you get what I mean..? Whereas Hyrule itself feels alive. I can imagine the NPCs of Witcher to leave that world and go home to other lives as if it was their job, whereas in Zelda I feel like people actually live in the villages there and reap/sow the land to survive. It's just the feeling the world itself gives me.
  16. Apparently not [tweet]842329627053944832[/tweet]
  17. I've not finished it yet, but after nearly 100hrs in Hyrule I will say this now, before posting my full thoughts after finishing the game... this is the greatest game I have ever played without doubt!
  18. As I'll be coming back to this after I finish Zelda, I worry Zelda will have ruined this for me. Not story-wise of course, but the world itself just feels incredibly mediocre in comparison to Hyrule. I worry it's going to feel too static now... like a model and not like a living, breathing world. I worry how I'll feel toward all games with big worlds like this now.
  19. I think he's basing it on him thinking Spurs or Arsenal will finish 4th and so they were most likely to complain about Leicester effecting the Champions League Country Coefficient. :p
  20. Go on Leicester, fly the flag for the rest of us! Haha
  21. Slap a load of Octo Ballons on the raft and make it fly... become a Space Pirate!
  22. I think LKD is looking way too much into this... [tweet]841987679592054784[/tweet] http://letsplayvideogames.com/2017/03/the-complexities-of-trans-gerudo-town/
  23. I've been thinking about buying the Snipperclips/JoyCon bundle but with talk of it being mostly the neon JoyCon with issues I'm a bit hesitant now.
