Brilliant. Absolutely loved it. The way they handled everything and reinvented the series.
The War Doctor died of old age. Recall how young he originally was when he regenerated; the Time War obviously took many, many years out of him. His last line was also a direct reference to the First Doctor, who likewise died of old age as he was "wearing a bit thin".
The last sequence with 11 narrating and all his previous incarnations looking towards Gallifrey was quite clearly said to be a dream; he hasn't found Gallifrey yet, it's what he dreams about.

So far only a poor quality picture of a picture, but that's not the important part.

Happy birthday!

I might actually get some of your cards this year.
(If I remember to order them in time ...)

"Private Jensen, I specifically said NO WHEELIES IN THE TANK!"

Great to hear, man.

Definitely by the look/smell/taste. The expiration date is only guidance. In Denmark it literally says "at least good until [date]".

I'm not sure if any of the examples you mention actually fall under this, but I do still think we as a society struggle with the taboo of sex.

The worst part was the sound of the spoon clicking against his teeth.

Man, I thought this would be a discussion about climate change.
Yeah, that guy's a complete nutter.

Holy shit, Martin, that's awful.
So sorry to hear it.
Also sorry to hear about your aunt, Raining.

Just read Steelheart by Brandon Sanderson (my new favourite author). Loved it. A superhero story with a bit of a twist. I worked out two out of the three or four plot twists before the end, but it was still good.
Ah, yeah, he's my friend's favourite author as well. I've considered getting into his works.

... when I saw the 8th Doctor. Since the rumours about who Hurt's Doctor was, I have been hoping we'd get a cameo from McGann and Eccleston, thereby completing the line-up since the Time War. Here's hoping the other part of that hope comes true!

Finally finished the game yesterday and fucking loved every second of it. Everything was just 11/10.

Don't most space photos need to go through a bunch of different layers?

Still stressed as fudge, I'm afraid, but you guys have fun.

Blegh, have been deep, deep down the old, familiar hole of self-pity since before the weekend. Not entirely sure where it came from all of a sudden, but I suspect me being stressed out hasn't exactly helped.

I've been in the exact same situation as you, @bluey; I used to use an adblocker and then later realised it was preventing the YouTubers I was following from gaining ad revenue. Since then I have disabled it again because, frankly, I'm not that bothered by ads. The only ads I'm bothered by are the long ones before YouTube videos (though as long as they're skippable after 5 seconds it's fine) and particularly the ones that start playing audio - those I actively use adblocker against, ad revenue be damned. If you do choose advertising as a form of income, don't use advertising that will actively interfere with your audience's enjoyment of your work.

My sentiments exactly, though I can't find where this bloody came up before. I hope he'll forgive me for naming him but I believe he isn't currently playing anything, I used to notice 'commiserative' posts made by Dannyboy(legit or not is not my judgement here) back in the day - it sorta just happened here or there by one or two at first, then for a while seemed to become more norm by more than a few folks, and it really started to irk me. It hasn't happened so much lately, but I don't think it ever came up as a solid discussion for a verdict - and I haven't run any games to crack down/set limits on it myself.
No worries. I did indeed make such a post in Jonnas's latest mafia, which I immediately regretted, though deleting it would simply have made things worse.
Back in the day it was more common, but it never really had any noticeable effect on the games, so nobody really questioned it. It's my impression that in the latest "generation" of mafia games, our approach to the games has become far more meta, meaning more focus on rules such as these. As such, I do think it best to start enforcing them more rigidly.

My deepest condolences, Mokong.
Seeing your loved ones in pain is far more difficult than being in pain yourself.

I literally laughed out loud at that.

As it's been seen, i ate the Naga Buit (aka the Ghost Chilli) a few months back. That was hot, very hot indeed. A few months later, i try the Trinidad Moruga Scorpion the hottest in the world. Here's the video.
You should be on Hot Pepper Gaming.

Hm, April O'Neil springs to mind, though I don't know how easy it would be to find a yellow jumpsuit.

Indeed, and both Cumberbatch and Freeman have signed up for at least a 4th series.

Well, she was smaller on the outside than expected. (Seriously, she's not very tall.)
