Strikers, Battalion Wars and...MoH?? Those should not be placed in the same league as Halo. Strikers is a casual game, Wars is a niche game and .. lol MoH Infact, the fact Mario Galaxy and Metroid Prime 3 wasn't mentioned voids your entire post.

Why is everyone getting or even saying they would get MGS4? I assume it is because they have played all 3 of the other console ones and perhaps even Portable Ops. I assume they aren't type of people that will buy it because of the hype surrounding it, or because it is one of the best looking games out there. I just can't wait for the wail of dissapointment when people buy the game and start moaning about the fucking cutscenes and the "silly" storyline.

A fair point, and your reason is valid. But I believe that the reason both consoles did not sell over 50 million was because people did not have that great taste in games.

I dislike Grand Theft Auto, because it is all about killing innocent civilians, this is moraly wrong. I dislike Halo because the levels are monotonous. I dislike Metal Gear Solid because there are too many boring cutscenes. I dislike Final Fantasy because there are better RPGs out there. The PS3 doesn't sell well, judging by those statistics, I can safely say, that the PS3 isn't that great.

Nope, it is superior in every single way. You wait, 2 years from now, all Wii game will look better than PS3 and Xbox games.
