Fashion or: Do the clothes you wear reflect what kind of person you are?
Paj! replied to Slaggis's topic in General Chit Chat
Yeah it's certain stores that have men's depts. Usually the bigger ones...might be wrong though. The one at Ocean terminal (near me) doesn't, but it's small, but the two others in Edinburgh do, and are 2 floors. -
You still look like a girl that went to my school/I was vaguely friendly with through her brother, who was literally the beauty queen of the 13th colony. So beautiful, I wouldn't have, lest I break her face of fairest china. But yeah, you have her asian eyes. She was prettier than you though, If I'm being honest. :p ------ goaferboy, you're ReZ's sleeping twin in the first pic.

I get lots of stuff from New Look. It's got a very cheap men's dept. No one seem to realise it exists and sells interesting/good stuff. This is lovely, for example; or this £10 each... -
I bought CODY, and it never really grabbed me. At some point I'll try out the more recommended stuff though, like you say. They're high on my list.

I like wearing interesting things, because I think I'm boring enough to look at without having something else nice to look at. I have lots of striking t-shirts, with interesting designs, pictures or in some cases effects (irredescence.rainbow is the best I can describe a few!). I mostly just wear my black "skinny" (not on me) jeans and a fleece of some description. Occasionaly, I'll wear an open shirt over a t-shirt instead. People do comment on some of the stuff I wear, which is always nice. But I don't seek that out. I do dislike the idea that buying exclusively from Abercrombie & Fitch or Jack Wills makes you (look) cool though. Often the people that do so are perfectly nice, but I really dislike that. We all know a plain t-shirt isn't worth £80, so why are you spending that much on it? etc -
Ladyhawke was a dissapointment for me. There's a few excellent songs on it, but the rest kinda blend into one mass of..meh. Magic is the best.

I've decided to actually do something about my desire to loads of weight. I can't be arsed to go to/don't like the idea of gyms, so I'm gonna diet and whatnot. I just want to lose weight anyway. I'm gonna try and cut out diet coke entirely. *cries* And have like...half-portions of stuff. And less snacks. [/should be in the Weight Loss thread, but has been thinking about it all day]

I didn't like it the first few times I heard it. Really? I think it's rubbish! Heard it when it first leaked, and it sounded like a bad demo or something. Truly awful. Maybe in higher quality it'll sound better, but I doubt much could save that mess. It sounds the backing track is in the wrong song. There's a fair few decent tracks on her last album too, IIRC. The Way It Is.

Dogs Of L.A - Liz Phair The canyon air is like a breath of fresh L.A. I was a Star Trek crew member, with my Beatle boots and my Super-8 And I raced you to the top, the camera gets a stuttered shot Of me approaching a painted shrine I kissed the Buddah and made him cry I kissed the Buddah and made him cry Georgie, I'm your friend And the shit-brown reservoir is a testament to the dogs of L.A. They hold the place like the mafia, and say, "Run me around again." The sawed-off tree trunks stand among the living palms You were beaming as I focused in, and I panned along And I raced you to the top, kicking snakes up from dusty rocks Young Abe Vigoda plays Frankenstein I kissed the Buddah and made him cry I kissed the Buddah and made him cry Georgie, I'm your friend And the shit-brown reservoir is a testament to the dogs of L.A. They hold the place like the mafia, and say, "Run me around again, I wanna go again."

I agree not on first listen. I meant like...months/a lengthy time after hearing/knowing the song. When I realise I'm not sure what it's on about.

Spider-Man 3 wasn't that bad at all. And thought Dark Tomorrow and Catwoman are frustrating and I never finished either, they are pretty interesting in terms of Dark Tomorrow being "comic accurate" (can't be arsed to explain) and Catwoman just having a beautiful and unique gameplay system.

I love that I had no idea what AmAppy was for ages. Probably because there isn't one here, it didn't immediately click. -
I hate that I bought Love Story by Taylor Swift off iTunes. I really didn't like it at first, but the bit "You were Romeo you were throwing pebbles.." or whatever is a form of eargasm. Though I hate that she misinterprets the story of Romeo & Juliet. But then again, their love, rather than their fate is what most people reference them for... Still. it adheres to the story up until the end.

Thanks. I bought someone they offered me. No idea if I should have, but you only live once. Sold a 25 old with relatively low skill. *twiddles thumbs*

What is the actual point of St.Patrick's day? I mean, St.Valentine's day has the "point" of expressing love and affection, but I assume there must be a point to this one too, not just drinking. Otherwise I could say that 'St. X's day is for drug-taking!", "St.Y's day! Let's run around naked!" etc.

Of course. I love when on albums I love, theres a track that I like, but realise I have no idea what it's about/what the lyrics are. So I read them along to the music. Being a Tori Amos fan requires a lot of time spent reading into/trying to decipher lyrics, too.

Next few epis of BSG including Unfinished Business and The Passage Though Unifinished could be considered filler, it was done brilliantly. Just the climax of the matches, Apollo vs. Starbuck, combined with the reveals from New Caprica = brilliant. The Passage was pretty sad too. I also love how the Cylons have personalities. They aren't terminators. They strive to be human, and as such, I'm enjoying D'Anna's struggles.- 3920 replies

I hate that you actually get to do interesting subjects like photography at school. A quick snap to put in my sketchbook for my line of thought "Halos". My sister, then badly edited slightly in iPhoto. The actual halo is real though. As in, it's not a digital effect. ---- Taken by my grandfather. This a photo of my grandma, who passed away last year. My dad is reformatting all his family photos to preserve, and his dad was a keen photographer, so a lot the photos are really beautiful, like this one. I just got all his camera equipment to learn how to use.
