  1. I've missed the last two..and am considering stopping watching. It's fine, but I prefer Brothers & Sisters (which I missed last week! Might have to OD on a PC in my house.. before tonight!) and I watch enough as it is.
  2. Mine Haus. The most visible building on the right. It's the victorian-like building wedged in between two modern ones.
  3. Just back from having my tongue-tie cut. It was fine. From being taken out of my room on my bed (really pointless, since I could have just walked...) to the cut being fnished, it was probably about 5-7 minutes tops. Spent longer waiting for people to bring paperwork etc. Stings a little, but feels fine. Just like I had a tongue implant or something.
  4. It's no-go at Disney World. Can't get a peek in.
  5. I have the money for Invincible Ultimate Collection Volume 1 sitting on my desk. However, that doesn't help as I have to buy it online. £15 on amazon is the best price, right? I'll have to wait till next month, so I have enough for postage too. / I could just buy the second one too, and get free postage.
  6. Oh. I assumed you'd open a new thread or something. Lots of forums do that when the original reaches a "max" page limit. But it's nicer keeping it as it is.
  7. LOL! I can see down my road, and I get around to the council flat-esque buildings which are in the foresty bit behind my house, but roadworks prevented them from getting to my house! I actually remember seeing the google car with the big camera on top going around my area. EDIT; Wait I was lying. You go a bit down my road, therefore seeing my house. Behind a tree.
  8. I like that this was locked by Odwin, then unlocked (presumably by Tellyn?).
  9. Leaving at 1.15 today, to go have my tongue-tie cut. I'm fairly sure it's ridiculously routine and even boring for the hospital to do, but still, mildly nervous.
  10. I loved that Sonic The Comic had a lovely atmosphere/continuity/storylines. Plus Robotnik > Grimer. I used to get the OLD "I Love To Read" Batman comics. Really young readers. That's all I read, efectively helping me learn to. From Batman, I jumped straight into Essential X-Men when I was 8. Huge leap, but I loved the source material. I was astounded. It was the issue where Sabretooth escapes from the mansion, ripping Psylocke to shreds (all over Boom Boom), before going on a dark killing spree around New York. From then on, I soon was just reading the proper comics (in "Collector Edition" form). Astonishing Spider-Man, Essential X-Men, Batman legends...some issues of others here and there.
  11. I only have "Addictions Vol.1", which IIRC some kinda greatest hits. I.e has Bad Case Of Loving You, Addicted To Love, Johnny & Mary etc. He's love though.
  12. I love dinosaurs. So this does interest me. I actually read one of my old DK books about them in bed the other night, instead of one my novels.
  13. This has been developing for years. I like the idea of a connection between reptiles and birds. Well, not the idea...there IS a connection. But yeah.
  14. Huh? It's still going in an unofficial capacity online, but the Uk AMAZING series stopped years ago...
  15. I'm currently listening to some Robert Palmer. Actually a legend.
  16. Whoever this Melody Gardot woman is, she's being heavily promoted from what I can tell. Seems she's just another jazz singer covering songs (asaik).
  17. Shall we actually make this a thread again, rather than a surreal MSN conversation? Coolio. (can't believe I'm saying this) And that picture of Tori Amos is actually my favourite photograph of the last decade.
  18. Oh yeah I forgot to comment on that. I loved. (Ce Jeu) And Tori Amos isn't shit! Rude cunt.
  19. *leaves* / I heard a funy story. As unbelievable as it sounds, Christina Aguilera IS working with the excellent Sia Furler on her new album, and Sia arrived to join Aguilera's team just as she approached bankruptcy after being cheated by an accountant or something. So she now living off all the luxuries Aguilera is giving her. Feels funny.
  20. Beyonce is one of the few genuinely talented female pop 'stars" still left. She's the whole package and WORKS damn hard. She is a great singer, can write a good song, and is an awesome (literal meaning) dancer too. When I see Britney Spears hobble on-stage to mime, I wonder what her point is. It's not entertaining. And these people are entertainers.
  21. On Sweet Escape; Relistened last night with open ears, and it has it's moments. If it had decent production the whole way through, and got rid of the crime against ears, Breakin' Up, it would be pretty good.
  22. Well...she intentionally lets them in, she wants the money. That's the point. An yes, it's technically helping more than it's damaging (check-ups rising around UK etc). So it's win-win for her. She gets money in for her children/family, and she's "giving something back" in awareness. Only bitter people like us who like to moan about what's wrong with the world rather than just ignoring menial things like this actually care how much she's in the papers.
  23. You imagined it. / It was going to, until HMV realised (or whoever was doing the shutting down) it was brilliant.
