The girls team leader, while fairly inefficient in the task, is very striking to look at on screen (not so much in that picture). She has very beautiful eyes. [/dannyboy] Stella was the MVP of Synergy though - so to the point and generally great.

The beat is stunning. Reminds me of things I like to be reminded of. Like Superheroes activating machines of mass destruction, Power Rangers armouring up. Or something. Music that'd score that sort of thing. The rest of the song is alright. I always quite liked her voice - The Pussycat Dolls have a few very fun pop songs. Never heard her own stuff before. I flicked through one of my flatmates awful celeb mags, the lead story being how JEALOUS CHERYL IS OF NICOLE'S RECEPTION AS AN X FACTOR JUDGE. Shock horror.

The Dark Knight Rises (Spoilers inside, enter at own risk)

The comics have yet to include her like they did Harley Quinn, but one of the secret best Batman villains is relatively unremembered: She's just such a classique. When I inevitably write Batman, I'll write her debut. -
Although, he's Russian without it defining him. He's all about jungles and Africa. I liked that they made him Russian (in the 60's), but he was rarely involved in any shite stories about the KGB/snow or whatever. Added. He actually had his own things to get on with. The Ultimate (australian) one is cool too. Different type of character though.

I'd rather see Kraven than Lizard on film anyday. However, Ifans won't be Kraven. Ever.

If they were truly good, they'd introduce Doctor Hurt. *awaits E-high five* *probably never happens* -
JOHN. This is why I called my 6ths English creative writing piece, "Two Spirit". (i.e the one about a pregnant woman versus an alien). P.S There's a female-to-male transgender on my course, and I've thought of him as "him" since day 1, but it seems a lot of my friends have trouble seperating the fact he was once female with who he identifies as now. It literally never affected my perception of him. Maybe cause he doesn't look like a girl (much). Unlike another person I know who is female, but only responds to male "calls" or whatever the word is. "His", "he" etc. It's hard to reconcile the idea of "she's a woman" with "he".

It's only "mam" in Ireland, so realistically its "mum".

I have no idea why everyone wants the Riddler in Batman 3. I can't see it turning out well. He's not interesting enough (based on the comics version) to carry a film. I actually think Jim Carey's Riddler made sense in a film, he had to be crazy to engage with the audience. No. Give me Back Mask, or even Hush or someone else I hate, but might work on screen. I'd love/die of shock if they based the film on Batman R.I.P or something, some story that could top the scope of TDK. --- P.s apparently Darren Aronofsky is almost definitely directing Wolverine 2. Such a joke. Considering Wolverine is a SHITE franchise, and he's so good. It's like he's taking pity on the series.

tubfuh, "colour" visually looks closer to how we pronounce it to me ("Kulluh®"). The american spelling looks too short to my eyes. But then it would do. We use the "british" spelling. It's the same when people over here use "mom" instead of "mum" - it annoys all my senses to read. I understand what you're actually saying though. I'm not sure why the "u" needs to be removed, however.

How did I derail discussions again? I'm The Vision btw. I roleblock.

Happy birthday, bitch.

*shrugs* Usually the Princess role justy skips to the next night, but I assume he just wants us to talk. About life.

It's the one on the right, which is 4 litres (just researched). So 8 litres for £2. I thought that was good.
-
I meant two litres, yeah. I think. I dunno. The bottle are huge. Like a stretched normal size one. No wait, it said "4" something. It's basically double-sized.

My halls of residence used to be an insane asylum. It's all nice now though / a nurse was murdered by a patient in what would be my flat. This was in like 1900 though. *walks off*

He'd be shite though! They'd either do the "generic savage beast" route, so it's less "silly" - but that's so fucking boring. And I really think seeing a giant lizard in a labcoat going "lissssssssardsssss will take over the ssssswamp! NYAAAA" would be the death of the Spider-Man franchise. Moreso than Emo Spidey. He's a great comic villain when done well (see "Shed" from this year). But I can't see him translating.

This has come up recently. Touch is an incredibly powerful and emotive sense. It's how we interact with the world, as much as with sight and hearing, etc. Touch between people can mean many different things. Intimacy of varying degrees, hugs, fighting/ aggression etc... --- What do people feel about strangers or rather, recent acquantances touching you? That sounds like I'm talking about innapropriate touching, but I mean more like just being "overfriendly". This is in relation to a guy in my project group/on my course. He's incredibly tactile with everyone. He pats their head if they're sitting down, squeezes shoulders, rubs backs, rubs chests (on one hilarious occasion) etc. It's not "weird" - he's a very confident, affected (? not quite camp) guy, but it's thrown everyone off completely. Because nowadays it seems we have sortof of unspoken boundaries of how we interact with new people. It is certainly disporientating, and other people (he does it to everyone) have mixed reactions/are very suprised by it. Some of my friends actively hate it. But I wonder why. Do you think the world would be a better place we all got more touchy-feely with each other? Are we all repressed, longing for the touch of another, but shirking away if it isn't on our terms?? Touch is so much about control. Our body is our own...is it about lack of control?

I'm not yet poor...and I'm fairly lucky in that I currently don't receive student finance, instead getting money from family (not unlimited - in fact I find myself not buying things more than my friends, because it's a set amount a month). I know that if I was so poor I couldn't afford food, I'd get money from my family. And I'm not proud, so realistically I'd just ask. I'm fairly sensible though, and I think it may have been mentioned, but bargain of the week for me would be 2 x 2 pints of Milk for £2. Triple Two. Actually too good a bargain. I nearly died. That was Sainsbury's.

Just in case people missed the link/excuse to post more: Zattana Psylocke (not sure about the sash being weirdly placed though...) Elektra The only comics one that is a complete miss is his Selene, from the Hellfire Club. She just doesn't evoke the character/look good.

It may have been me. They do that everyday at SeaWorld Orlando when the park opens.

I do like Wolverine, and he does more here than he "does" in Whedon's Astonishing, but I loved that Wolverine wasn't the main focus of Astonishing, but was just there, adding, silently. Astonishing is also better written in general. He's fine in this line-up..so far (just at the end of Golgotha) Rogue has been most dissapointing. Not really done much/lived up to the character. I like how Emma is part of the team (replacing Juggernaut after he leaves), cause nowadays she's such a loss - Fraction has fucked her up, and she's just Cyclops' arm candy. Nice seeing her "on her own".

They seem to be out of print/rare. Which is annoying. Only Astonishing is readily available from that era I think.

Gambit should go to a special school. Where they teach how to be a good character. *really bad insult* I'm currently reading various runs of X-Men I missed in my general hiatus of reading the series since Morrison left and Fraction begun. I just started the Re:Load (i.e the era where they all went back to costume - Whedon etc) X-Men series, with the much-maligned Chuck Austen writing. I found nothing wrong with it tbh. I never read all of his Uncanny work though...I found his first two arcs fine. And at the time, I liked his team. Anyway. Yeah, I enjoyed Heroes and Villains and stuff. Salvador Larroca is a definitive artist. Same school as Jim Lee. Anything he does seems like it's the official version. Started Golgotha by Peter Milligan (the next writer after Austen) and so far it's erratically paced, to say the least. Heard it's a massive let down compared to X-Statix. Why was I saying this? Oh yeah. Austen actually started a Gambit story in motion that could have been cool - he's blinded in the first issue (IIRC) while trying to rescue Xorn, and then later on, it's revealed that he can see any object he charges with kinetic energy, and it becomes a kinda "crystal ball", with visions and premotions within it - that's how he knows that the Brotherhood were on the grounds. I was quite intrigued. And how Mindee Cuckoo had to help him see psychically. Then fucking Claremont had Sage jump-start him and cure his blindness. UM. Anyway. I liked that idea they started with him, but never finished. And I like the team line-up from this era. Polaris. <3
