No not this movie: Since watching the Dark Knight I've been in the mood to watch more Superhero or comic book character movies. I watched Batman Begins again but that wasn't enough to quench my thirst. I haven't seen that many thus far only others really are Spiderman, Xmen (1 and 2 for both though not 3) and Superman returns. I was wandering whether you could recommend to me, what the best ones to watch are?

Good sig. I need to listen to some Kat Perry again. It feels a bit stretched but I like the colours! 5 Bears out of 7. -
I haven't done much today. I watched more How I met your Mother then played some Metroid Prime. Had lunch and listened to the 1up Yours podcast. Later this evening I'm going out to my friends birthday dinner. Oh and I created a new signature which I'm not that happy with. ^___^

agreed, Season 19 is much better than 18 and 17. American Dad is Ace! It goes from strength to strength. : peace:

It may not be as good now as 10 Years Ago. (nothing beats season 5 for me. ) but I can't imagine it not being shown every year, Although it is dying there are still some great episodes. (eternal moonshine) and I very much enjoy watching it still and will continue to watch every episode. There are some really good moments. I thought the movie was good and if they made episodes like that then I feel a lot of fans would be made happier again. I think they need a new show runner Al Jean has been at the forefront since season 13 I mean that is much longer than anyone else and I feel his style has gotten stale. Although Mike Scully was worse (saddlesore galactica ) at least he took bold risks. Al Jean plays it too safe for my liking and a lot of the jokes lack any punch. He drags them on for ages. I do not like the references the feel they need to make to the I pod or stuff like that but there are still some laugh out loud moments for me. But I really am a huge fan like I'm probably defending it too much. :p I have to admit I still very much like it even now. My biggest fear is that even though it's been signed on for four more years it has to keep the ratings up and at the end of last season they were lower than Family Guy repeats. I think it should end after this contract maybe but I'll be sad to see it off my screen.

Halo for the DS? :p

Ah I see, thanks Darksnowman. I need to learn more of my videogame history. :p
-
I don't know. :p Wow! If that's true I find that fascinating as well. I didn't know this about several different games. Reading over this thread I had no idea a lot of these games were ever planned! Ah ok. Thanks. Wondered whether what I read was true. So It may have just been a demo, interesting. If it remained on the N64 I would have played it. I'm interested into why they changed consoles. or perhaps they had never truely decided? Looking at the video I can see how it can be viewed as a tech demo or as the beginning's of an actual game. I'm going to look into this more and at other games I never knew existed.

I most definately would for a loved one. for a stranger I would hope I'd have the courage maybe to do so but I fear that I'm nowhere near heroic to do that as I am a bit of a coward.

The Simpsons Movie. 5th time I've watched it now and I still love it. I can't help it... I do love The Simpsons too much... :p 6 Bears out of 7. Dr. Zhivago Amazingly beautiful film. The way it's filmed and the scenes are fantastic. The whole story is an absolute epic classic. They don't make them like that any more. Also the acting was fantastic as was the directing. Throughly enjoyed it and I'm glad I got to experience the film in a cinema. 6 and a half Bears out of 7. Hard Candy Brilliant Psychological thriller, I didn't realise just how psychotic the main character was. Much better than I thought it was going to be. A tense film that had my heart racing. 5 Bears and a half bears out of 7.

Games you've never played... but probably should have?
Coolness Bears replied to a topic in General Chit Chat
Ooh, the list is long I could be here for ages but I'll keep it short! (i'm working on a lot of them like I did recently with lylat wars ) I've never played Perfect Dark either. Not even seen it in motion. I always played a lot of goldeneye with my friend and although He had that game I never got to play it. Final Fantasy or any good playstation/PS2 game. As I've never owned either of them. A load of good Snes games like Chrono Trigger and Up until recently Majora's Mask. There are more but it's hard to think of them of the top of my head! :p Oh and Okami and WoW! That's a fair few I'd better get on with it! *gets back to gaming* -
Reading over this thread I've realised: VICAR YOU NEED TO GET A MEXICAN HAT! and take pictures.
-
Mine is the same. Though It's only a short list. Though I'm also in Eevil's boat and get pants thrown at me at christmas (both metaphorically and literally.... :p) Along with some cheesy christmas socks I'm set for the year.

TETRIS! @_______@ Seriously the most addictive game ever it's like a drug only worse. I'm hopelessly hooked on it for the rest of my life. I've even seen L blocks in my sleep! Playing it for hours on end messes with your mind as you just see blocks falling down your eyes eventually and you desperately try and sort them out. No tetris and no computer make Coolness go something something...
