since my LCS decided to have a 20% off sale on all comics and graphic novels I spent a bit of money

noticed something from the initial solicits for Image in July MAY10 0412 INVINCIBLE #75 $5.99 wonder what they have planned for Invincible if it's doubling the cost! plus TWD has a buck added on to the price for it's #75 not that they'll make July at current publishing speeds

It's the fear-mongering being spread by the papers that really gets me. They've invested so heavily in backing David Cameron that now that it's looking like the Lib Dems are going to be king-makers (if not outright winners) they have no idea what to do. A hung parliament is not a bad thing, we've had it in Scotland for 11 years without any major problems, most major European countries have one as well and they're doing fine. At least one good thing will come out of it if the Lib Dem polling bubble translates to votes on election day. We'll get some form of proportional representation and we'll have less wasted votes.

there's a lot of good stuff from DC at the moment, outside the main Batman and Green Lantern books. Detective Comics (Rucka's writing is awesome) and Secret Six are outstanding, Brave and the Bold can be really good as well.

well we'll see Thursday, Ryan has said that 71 was at the printers and should be out late April/early May. The reason he's fallen behind is Haunt

nah they're not out this week the end of Ultimate Avengers first arc was due this week though, bah at least volume 2 will be bi-weekly (due to the whole palaver between Millar and Marvel over them stealing his idea)

I've not seen TWD on the lists for next week yet I thought this week was alright, next week should be sweet though with the start of Brightest Day.
