yeah the Image comics forum will show when the last 1-2 issues were released, but it's usually the 3rd Wed in the month for Invincible (I think)

it was indeed, easily my favourite book atm Paj you can check most of the release dates on the official sites, there are some forums that collect the lists for that weeks comics (I know Mark Millars forums do complete listings) but don't know how long the posts stay up, but I'm sure the search function can be your friend there Happenstance, I'd be up for reviewing some books, would sure help me work on my writing skills

there was only really one team in that game, Arsenal had a lot of the ball but did nothing with it, and Chelsea always looked dangerous on the break and were rock solid defensively

very nice ========== so this weeks comics Green Lantern and Blackest Night - since they're basically one double issue thought it was really good, some nice comedy moments with Agent Orange, the Lantern Corps leaders all uniting and all the oaths, along with something finally being brought into play at the end of BN, plus the art from Reis was top notch as usual Image United tough first issue of a big event book, seemed more of a setup for the following issues, at least Larsen does the layouts for the remaining issues, still enjoyable enough, although Fortress (the new character) is really annoying so far Powers Only really picked this issue because I love Mike Oemings art style (plus Bendis writing is usually a good sign) turned out to be a really cool comic, enjoyed it enough to go and get the first volume hc Ultimate Avengers Dan is right Ultimate Cap is a total badass, and Millar knows how to write him. Shame the rest of the story seems to be moving rather slowly. Criminal another series I've just started reading, think Brubaker is my favourite writer at the moment. This is a top quality crime comic book and the gritty art style really contributes to the feel of the book, current arc is only two issues in but it's been enough to hook me totally probably gonna get the 3 trades out for it now (or the deluxe hc ) Chew new arc started along with the return of an old face (with a new face ) total buddy cop issue and great art throughout plus there was also Iron Man (great), Thor (good, but not really giant sized, but worth it for the backup original Thor story ), Uncanny Xmen (Land's art wasn't that bad this issue)

ah the last week of the month, lets see Blackest Night #5 Green Lantern #48 Iron Man #20 (finally a new arc to jump onto singles!) Powers #1 (love Oeming's art) Ultimate Avengers #4 Uncanny Xmen #517 Xmen Forever #12 Chew # 6 Image United #1 (gonna try and get the sweet Jim Lee cover) probably gonna get the Chew and Incognito tpbs as well and maybe giant sized Thor to catch the end of JMS run.

Finally picked up part 1 of the Sinestro Corps War TPB, amazing stuff, ordered part 2 along with Rebirth now (weird order I know ) Plus also got the 3 volumes of Planetary that are out, and again it's top notch stuff, love the nods to a couple of DCU characters (Superman and a Lantern that I noticed at least)

Celtic defender John Kennedy has had to retire aged 26 thanks to a horrific injury that happened 5 and a half years ago in an international friendly against Romania, at the time he had just broken into the first team and had helped shut out Barcelona at the Nou Camp (first time that season they failed to score). He's had a couple of comebacks and had some time on loan in England, but has now decided to retire. It's sad to think that someone I saw making their debut aged 17 and is younger than me is retired thanks to a shocking "tackle" which happened after the whistle had already blown for an unrelated incident.
