Actually, it seems gaggle was kidnapped (we have no reason to doubt this info unlike a certain shino) and since mcoy targetted gaggle, it suggests mcoy kidnapped gaggle. Course i suggest waiting to hear from mcoy but in the mean time Vote: MCoy based on the info at hand, its the best lead right?

If I remember rightly, he only killed people who got in his way, like the fbi agents or L, those were the only 'innocents' he killed, the other Kiras (misa, higuchi and mikami) except for maybe the last, did kill innocents. Remember, Light judged his victims, taking time to see if the killings were just.
