I forgot to mention yesterday that anyone hoping for GAME to stock the CE will be let down, i tweeted GAME yesterday and got a reply basically saying that they are not stocking it.

@Dan Dare is right, private vs and horde only, just read the end of the press release: My quote above relating to the maps does describe them as set up for horde.

Everything! :p But yeah at least it does have a draw to put the game in, because if it was just a cardboard sleeve I would be fumming! (I hated the Wii Sports one that much I actually bought a case and had a cover printed off just so it can go on my shelf!) Depends how big the statue is as to where I put it, the marcus one for Gears of War 3 was taller than i expected so couldn't go on my shelf!

Surely ShopTo will lower there price! I can't imagine they are going to sell it at basically £20 more expensive than Amazon!

As I said, no case... carboard sleeves. Game is one on the left and above is the Gotham Knight animated film. And as I have already said, the first Batman did not come with a normal came case. Fable 3 image shown a game case.

Well @flameboy got the collectors for the first game and the case for that was shit, when I went round his house it was worse than I thought it was! Also i'm pretty confident it doesn't, there is nothing in the image but various cardboard sleeves... although under the figurine appears to be a draw of sorts i suppose to put a sleeve in.... Still not the same though!

Cool. Except what appears to be minus a game case, which has pissed me off a bit to be honest, I like my game cases all on my shelf... Hated the shitty carboard sleeve the later versions of Wii sports came with!

Just noticed that my order total for the collectors edition has dropped £10ish! (not bad ey!) New price is showing as £76.80 (before any postage costs you may choose to add). I have had no e-mail regarding this, I was just looking at my orders and noticed. According to this other retailers will be stocking the collectors edition for the UK. Lol I know! It turn out to be a lot more fun than the method for another medal and just sitting on my bed pressing X! Lol yeah... I regretted that decision quite quickly and when I died I realised I could change to a lancer! (When we were way into it though, lol). That was awesome! And very tense!! Being my first experience of Horde properly I was like wtf! With all the Beserkers! In a seperate experience I played though Beast yesterday with my sister, was really fun but did feel it was over too soon once we did the 12 waves. I LOVED ramming into everyone with the Beserker! I loved how they made it challenging using them with lack of sight!

Yep... I did pick up on that, I may have even mentioned it in this thread before (can't remember and I am not going to spend the time checking!) I just assumed she says that because she knows the astronaut doesn't die because she is still alive. If the astronaut was shot dead, then she wouldn't be there in the future to shoot at it.

So you may or may not know Flameboy and I do a weekly gaming podcast. This week we were talking before recording an ep and in the end flameboy decided to just make our normal chat into a off topic podcast and talked about Doctor Who for a bit, mainly thoughts on tomorrows episode but covering some other points as well. Well I am in a full time job which pays pretty good. HOWEVER I am in the public sector and have seen a lot of peope lose their jobs so far or are fighting to keep theres with the threat of redundancy. Although no formal notice has been given yet next year I could be under threat of redunancy as well. On top of that for the time being I have the threat of pension repayments going up and I could also be losing £250 a month out of my wages by getting rid of one of my enhancements. SO if both of them happen my wage would become pretty meh. The shopping centre in Winsford (town where i live) has always been a bit of a shithole really, lots of shops closed down - there was going to be a big redevelopment when I worked on there but money got worse and it was all stopped. Sick of the price of petrol going up! Although I have no idea if that is to do with recession, just a random rant from me.
