  1. These are the cutest things ever. I love how they look running considering they have no arms. It's hilarious. One started running toward the bread I was throwing and ran so fast it fell over and rolled, with it's brothers and sisters then falling in to it to create one big pile of cuteness. The mum just looked at them with this "GET THE FUCK UP" expression. I love this. Purely for the lesbian vibe. Then it was nice to have a picture of my boyfriend and I, without my either wearing silly hat or looking like I'm about to pass out.
  2. Spent the past few days constantly revising for my exam tomorrow morning. Oh, how I wish I was sensible enough to be able to truthfully say a sentence such as that. Instead, I've been lazily moping around Endcliffe watching Jeremy Kyle, feeding the AMAZINGLY CUTE little ducklings that are wandering around, and sleeping. Thank god it's the exam I feel most comfortable with, otherwise I'd be screwed. Feminism is stupidly easy to revise, and radical feminists just make me giggle. Desperately trying to plan the trip for T.H.E to Europe, which is coming up in less than a month now. With a thousand pounds prize at stake, and the possibility of getting completely lost in a yet unknown city in Europe, planning is a definite must. Also went to see Diana Vickers with the boyfriend a few days ago. Had a fantastic time, she was actually incredible live. Such a brilliant atmosphere in the club, and she's the cutest thing I've ever set my eyes upon. Oh, and it's Climax tomorrow. Basically the only gay night worth talking about in Sheffield, and it happens only once a month. I'm beyond excited, every night manages to be one of the best nights out I've ever experienced. FUNNY LESBIANS EVERYWHERE.
  3. I think Coolness posted it previously, but I absolutely love. I thought Breakout was a pretty solid album, especially Driveway. So I'm looking forward to this being released. I absolutely love her voice, and the blatantly obvious "I'm trying to be like early naughties Britney" album cover. -- Katy Perry's new single "California Gurls Feat. Snoop Dog". Horrifyingly summery. "E.T (Futuristic Lover) has also leaked online too, which sounds epic electro-rock ballad-y. Audio
  4. I really think it is. It just never gets old for me. I had a phase of watching it start about a year ago, and it's just never ended. I can watch episodes over and over, and still be laughing hysterically by the end of it. I enjoy 30 rock, but don't find it being even close to as funny as Will & Grace was. I did I'm so excited, if it actually comes here that is.
  5. Will & Grace The funniest sitcom ever. Fact. I've watched every episode countless times and continue to do so, and yet I find myself in hysterics constantly. Season 6 is fast becoming my favourite series, with about 4 episodes being the best of the bunch. It's just so fantastically written, and horrifyingly quotable. I find myself using some form of line/action from the show every other sentence, it's ridiculous. Like when Karen says something to someone, and looks around as though she's acknowledging others who aren't actually there. It works in so may situations. One thing though. I loathe Leo. Why the chose to cast the most annoying actor to play an even more annoying character is beyond me. Genuinely hilarious.
  6. Just a couple from recently I thought this was horrifyingly cute.
  7. Kelly Rowland - Commander On a set of good speakers, the already huge chorus sounds incredible. Absolutely love. Dying to hear it in the clubs. Obviously a completely generic "Lets dance!" song, but I love it nonetheless. Audio -- I wanted desperately to dislike it, and then I thought to myself "Why?", and gave in. Selena Gomez & The Scene's 'Naturally' is completely addictive, and not something I expected to come from the Hollywood Records crowd.
  8. Glee - The Power Of Madonna After the slight let down that was the first comeback episode, I was a little unsure about what to expect. But, it was beyond amazing. It was great to see the other characters get to sing, especially Santana. I don't understand why she hasn't sung previously, her voice is pretty damn powerful. The Like A Virgin sequence genuinely brilliant, as was Sue's walking away after Will's "OH SNAP" comment. Actually cried with laughter. Easily the best Glee episode to date, if anyone fails to see how good Glee is after watching The Power Of Madonna...I genuinely can't understand it. Oh, and I adore their marching band version of 4 Minutes, blows the completely mediocre original out of the water. I hope they keep up the episodes idea of having them all have major parts in songs, it felt so much more...together, than it does when it's just Rachel or Finn.
  9. Just gave the Glee Madonna LP a listen. I am in love. Why did they not let the bitchy cheerleader sing sooner? She sounds great on Like A Virgin. Anyway. 4 Minutes - Purely for Kurt. Audio They've done Like A Virgin, What It Feels Like For A Girl, Express Yourself (One of my favourite Madonna songs. Absolutely love it to bits), Borderline/Open Your Heart, Like A Prayer and 4 Minutes.
  10. Having a lazy day today, other than getting a haircut a bit later, in preparation for tomorrow. Having Chris up from Doncaster for the day, and then we're heading round friends for a little get together before a group of us go for a night out. Could not be more excited! Really have been missing him, which sounds silly as it's only been a week. The rest of today shall be spent watching Maury and America's Next Top Model. Mmm.
  11. You make such a good point, I couldn't agree more. It's just that initial conversation starter that I'm afraid of. I mean, considering my parents are totally aware of me being gay, I shouldn't feel at all like I have to hide Chris from them. Though a good friend offered to allow us to go round hers for the afternoon, which was completely lovely. However as she put it, "I'm not sure how my mum would feel about me harbouring two gay men for the day :p". It seems ridiculous that I would even consider doing such a thing. If I'm happy, then my parents should be also. This post seems pointless considering I'm basically just talking to myself. Ignore.
  12. "I'm kissing all the boys and the girls". You're about 3 years late to the bisexual party Aguilera. I'm bored of constantly hearing singers sing about such things as though it's "rebelling". Yawn. 'Meh' song too. Not a patch on Dirrty either, which lyrically seems like it's closest comparison. "If you ain't dirrty....YOU AIN'T HERE TO PARRRRTAAAAAAAY". I could not love more.
  13. A few from what I have to say turned into one of the best nights I've ever had. Made me happy to be home again.
  14. When the Sugababes were actually relevant and not desperate fame whores. (Though saying this, some of their newer singles are a guilty pleasure. But, it's just not 'them'). How times have changed. Fallen back in love with "Ugly" too. -- Also, totally fallen for Madonna's "Express Yourself".
  15. Just rediscovered this. I loved, and "Maybe" along with it's utterly brilliant video.
  16. I'm having a night out with some close friends on friday, and both they and myself would love if I bought my boyfriend along. However, this would entail him staying with me for the night. My parents are well aware I'm gay (I didn't tell them, my sister discovered this on facebook) and my dad has been nothing but supportive. My mum however hasn't said a thing. Her behaviour toward me hasn't changed at all, but because we've never spoken about it...I'm terrified of bringing up the idea of having Chris come and stay. I just don't know how to approach it. God, I wish I was back at Uni. Then this wouldn't be an issue. Eurgh.
  17. Sneaky Gays "Now don't get me wrong, I'll listen to your music. I'll even hum it under my breath as I head into a voting booth the next time a state government gives me the chance to deny your basic rights". I'm still in fits of laughter. Amazing.
  18. Wall-E Absolutely loved this, though I feel it trailed off slightly toward the end. Other than that, it was fantastic throughout. They couldn't have made Wall-E more lovable, and his need for a companion was utterly heartbreaking. Still, I did prefer 'Up'. 8.2
  19. The moment it hit her, I burst out laughing. She obviously didn't expect it, but the speed it came out of the box actually looked kind of terrifying. Love.
  20. SHAME ON YOU JENNIFER ANISTON! I think the poster says it all. Hilarious, but absolutely abysmal.
  21. Alice In Wonderland Bland. There was nothing remarkable about this whatsoever. I hated the way they made Wonderland look, it came across so half-arsed. It might have looked technically brilliant, bit it was completely soulless. Alice was immediately annoying, and the film was completely wasted on Anne Hatheway. 4 Shutter Island Loved this. The twist was mostly obvious after the first few minutes apart from a couple of minor details, but that didn't matter. It was completely gripping throughout, and I loved the ending. I still can't decide if I like Decaprio as an actor though. 7
  22. From last night, we had to dress up "French" for the Sheffield Europe Trip thingymajig the five of us are doing in June. Such a fantastic night out, though the womens tops are no more Annabel decided biting them before ripping them off us half way through the night was the best way to go. I've never felt more judged in my entire life. This one, which was taken without me realising, makes me giggle. I don't think it's possible to look any gayer. I feel this is an achievement that needs recognition of some form.
  23. I was dragged along to Chris' maths lecture yesterday, and ended up enjoying it so much. The lecturer was this tiny chinese woman, and I literally couldn't understand a word she was saying half the time. She couldn't work the computer, she constantly got corrected by the students and then almost fell over half way through. I loved. Going on a night out tonight dressed up..."french". It's for the Sheffield RAG week thingy, we're doing a Europe Scavenger Hunt in June (5 of us) and have to raise £250 for Charity before we can go. Speaking of, every little helps :p. In total, the trip will be raising over 50,000 for 3 selected charities
  24. The Blind Side I can't decide what to think. I definitely enjoyed watching it, and it was definitely heart breaking in places, but it all seemed so...contrived. As if one thing after another happened just so the audience would feel more and more sorry for the guy. Sandra Bullock was fantastic, but the fact she won the Oscar proves what a lacklustre year it's been. I love her and it was a brilliant performance...but Oscar worthy? Perhaps not. Still, it was a genuinely heartwarming story that I enjoyed watching throughout. Definitely worth seeing. 7.5
