  1. Well, he's right to an extent. It'll teach you to be a pirate! I recently purchased something similar, and yes, I am pirating games, judge me as you wish and take note that I do not care. However, I took a very long time in deciding where I was going to get mine from, and luckily found a decent site. I did consider Divineo, but given the british site's stock status, and the issues of postage cost and problems from the overseas based sites, I did not order from there.
  2. Very interesting indeed, but do/would you realise it when it was happening? If not, who's to say any of this is real?? Hmm, this reminds me that I need to see Vanilla Sky, and probably Waking Life by the sounds of it, it's a very interesting topic.
  3. I don't, thats why I put the question in too. I am comepletely unaware of anything from before I was born though, and assume that when I am dead, I will not be anymore, just like I was not back in 1869. I will no longer live, all concepts of afterlife seem to be saying that death is not the end of life, but I think I think it is.
  4. A proper shitty thing to hear, sorry to hear you lost a friend, it's a terrible thing to happen to anyone.
  5. Of course, I'm not ruling it out, but I am assuming that there is nothing. People believing in afterlifes and all that malarky spend their lives living them for their afterlife(being good to get into heaven for example) or they spend their lives not doing stuff because they're too scared for some silly reason or whatever, why is this a problem? Because I think in part the answer to the meaning of life lies in the phrase. Life. The point to life is itself, it has no meaning, except what it is. Life is to be lived, we are all born and we are all going to die, the only difference is what we do along the way. The meaning of life is to lead a full and rich one, or what that keeps you happy really, just live it. If you don't, then meh, you'll probably regret about a billion things in the last 5 seconds of your life, but when those 5 seconds are up you'll be dead anyway.
  6. I missed tonight's show in favour of watching The Bourne Identity, which I stopped watching at like 10 anyway, I wish I'd seen it though, what was this hitman story all about?
  7. Is this about the meaning of life or what happens when we die? Because in my view those are two very different things. When it comes to what happens after we die, I don't think of it as being anything. I mean, there's nothing, what was there before you were born? That's what it is after you die, and people are foolish for thinking otherwise.
  8. Snacks? Not really. I'm not much of a snacker, but I'm not much of an eater either. If I feel hungry, I tend to just have me some toast when there's bread about, with hazlenut chocolate spread on it, or some super noodles, both pretty easy to do and filling enough. If I'm out, then I'd get a packet of crisps, whatever takes my fancy at the time, but usually not 'normal' crisps(like, crisps crisps, like walkers, i'd have like wotsits/monster munch/mccoys/space raiders/other cheap corn snack). Maybe some chips with burger sauce if there's a chippy round and a quid in my pocket. EDIT: I forgot, I do like biscuits, namely chocolate chip ones, or rich tea.
  9. There's actually a group of them, and when they see someone coming one of them goes out front and pretends to be deep in thought whilst the others hide behind a rock snickering. Then they spout some stuff to the people who then leave, and laugh endlessly about how they totally didn't just tell that guy the meaning of life despite the fact that they know it. They practically just spend their days laughing at people who don't know the meaning of life in fact.
  10. I stopped watching shortly a month or two before all that plane crash stuff with someone trying to kill Paul or whatever it was. However, I take great offense to your comment about Eastenders being better. One prime example to disprove your point would be that in the week that Lisa shot Phil in Eastenders, Billy read Anne's Diary. I rest my case. Speaking of Anne, can anyone tell me what happened to Lance, and if he ever came back after going to America 'for a few months' with Allyana(was that her name?)?
  11. I just googled it as well, and there is something very distrubing about it! I don't know what it is, I can't put my finger on it. I don't even know what is in the picture, and feel like I need to find out more to put my mind at ease, but looking at it gave me a very very creepy feeling, which still persists now after 5 minutes of stopping. That is one crazy photo. I was going to ask why would you mention something without posting it here, but I'd probably have hated you more for posting it without warning lol.
  12. Happy Birthday to you, I hope you have a very fun one getting illegally drunk!
  13. Indeed, but this is clearly a topic about racism, which is discrimination based on grounds of race. Rude people are rude people, and there is nothing wrong with hating rude people, just as long as race doesn't come into it and you start thinking everybody from a similar background is the same, that bit's the racism. How long ago was the thing about the KKK? What I find most amusing about racist skinheads is that if I'm not mistaken Skinhead culture was originally heavily influenced by alot of the Rude Boy culture from the West Indies and around Jamaica and now you get skins who are proper racist, and ones that are really against racism.
  14. I think I tried lucid dreaming 2, this time I had my light off and only the laptop on, but I fell asleep sometime during the last 10 minutes of it! I slept well, and managed to wake up to my alarm, but I was still tired too. I know I had some dreams, but I can't recall any details exactly, and I feel like I had lucidity at one point but it was very brief, I could be imagining it though! I was actually telling myself out loud that I would remember my dreams and realise I'm dreaming without waking up whilst I was listening to it, dunno if that had any effect though. Gonna try this one again tonight.
  15. Out of all spiders, those ones scare me the least(still scare me crapless though), they seem to move slower than most others, though they can be hard to see and pop out of nowhere, easy to lose them ones. They tend to keep themselves to themselves though, living in corners behind stuff, I know for a fact there's one behind one of the TVs downstairs at the moment, and theres a few other common spots for them around my house, nice and out of the way. What confuses me though is that sometimes I see webs appearing, and getting thicker, around the house, but never a spider in them! I also hate seeing them on ceilings or high on walls, cos then I have to walk past/under them and get scared that they'll just jump on me. Irrational I know, but meh. When I was younger I used to be scared of ghosts and the dark, up to quite a late age actually and probably in no doubt due to my **** of a brother who would shut me in dark rooms knowing I was scared, but then I got brave and fearless, and now I like the dark. It's peaceful, it's still, and it is perfect for hiding in. Sometimes I worry about people around me dying too, but only very rarely.
  16. Break into her house with some red food colouring, unscrew her shower head and tip a good few drops in. Even if it dries up, next time water washes through it should theoretically turn red. I kind of hate spiders, they're creepy and move too fast, thus unpredictable which I think is why they are such a big fear sort of thing. I remember having to do an essay about fear last year, I might try and find it, though I can't remember if I did it or not. There's some pretty weird fears out there. I also fear fear itself I think. When it comes to needles and blood, I don't really fear them, but I always react bad to them(like fainting) and I can't explain it at all, it's just something that happens, I don't feel scared I just get dizzy and stuff then like wake up and realise what happened, but I have in turn developed a fear of that happening, which can make me anxious in certain situations if I know it's going to happen, and then it gets worse no matter how hard I try for it not to, in fact, probably the harder I try not to think about it, the more I do, and it's unavoidable to do cos it's a lose lose situation! You try not to think about it, and end up thinking about it or you try not to not think about it, leaving you with the only option of thinking about it! Fucking brain, I hate it.
  17. Funny, my definition is more along the lines of thinking you know what you're talking about when in actual fact you are misinformed or mistaken, without realising it. In response to the myspace type bulletin, that all came about from the coloured(thats a non pc term now?) people rising up and out from their years of oppression by white people, and that is why slack is cut for them in some circumstances these days, and why racism towards them taken more seriously than racism towards whites, in some circumstances. Besides that, I feel that a number of the 'points' in it are actually invalid anyway. Tell me though scubahood, are you white? And if so, when was the last time you were the focus of some malicious racist comments?
  18. Trying not to sound gay, but I never realised how pretty bluejays look, that's one pretty awesome bird. (this post is in place of joke about legless tennis players, and to mention that Shino's spoiler was pretty amusing)
  19. I tried 'Cocaine' earlier today, same setup as last time and pretty much no effect again. I don't think everyone is susceptible to these influences maybe? I'll give a lucid dreaming one a go tonight though, maybe it'll work.
  20. lol, reading that like that made me laugh, wouldn't it be easier if life was just one big video game which you could retry? I dunno if the copy I have now lets you reuse doses, but apparently if you copy them to my documents or something then copy them there again after use it should work again.
  21. I'm wondering, is this friend zone theory specific to the guy in question? Or is it variable depending on the girl? I get the feeling the general jist here is guy specific, but I view it as being different for different girls, like, I am in one girl's friend zone, but not another's.
  22. Ok, I just tried Marijuana1. Basically, my setup was lying in bed, light on, TV and everything off so there was no sort of background sounds, other than except maybe the fan of the laptop. I was lying in bed, in a bit of a mummy position, using some Phillips in ear earphones. I just finished a few minutes ago, and don't feel all that different except relaxed. I feel kinda relaxed I'd say(more than usual), and my hearing feels weird lol. It's kind of like waking from a brief sleep, like when you get a 1 hour nap or so. I wasn't concentrating so much directly on the sound, and couldn't help my mind from wandering onto other things, but I'm not giving up on it yet, I'll try a different dose tomorrow. I'm gonna try and get to sleep soon whilst I'm feeling relaxed like, but I might have something to eat first.
  23. Some people claim ignorance has a real big part to play when it comes to racism, but I haven't got a single clue why.
  24. Well it was good enough that I thought it was a quote from somewhere, nice job with the reference though you lost marks for not citing in full at the end Not being in her friendzone means you have a chance with her, but if you hate her, it is irrelevant. Being friends/knowing a girl isn't enough to qualify for being in the friendzone I think, not if she'd consider you as something sexual, then you are not in the friend zone, despite knowing/being friends.
  25. Does anyone have any real proof of the background of the guy who wrote it on IW? I'm not aruging in any favour here, just wondering for the facts. Like I said, I think people need to not take the ladder theory too serious, though Dyson has just posted something in support. Would I be right in thinking the two of you were best friends and you wanted more and she didn't and it scuppered everything up?
