I break into a bank and steal all your money and get away scott free, the bank can't pay out or something as a result. Who do you blame mainly? The thieves who robbed it or the bank for not having better procedures in place? You trusted the bank, they let you down. Or maybe yeah, generally I'm sure you hold much more anger to the people who rob it than to the bank themselves that you trusted. It's not perfect, but I do think it's(assuming it was a massive hit) somewhat reflective of realistic reaction.

I was trying to avoid focusing on specifics, and rather generics. Let's consider these guys as one group/company, how many can we find who are equally unethical? More than one for one, I'm sure. I can think of at least one bad company out there as it is. So...despite your posts in the preferential threads you won't actually defend these people's rights to their opinion that Lulzsec are 'heroes and should be lauded for their deeds'. Would it be out of line for me to call you a hypocrite, here? You used the word 'we' also, as in implying you were forced to do so as well as part of that collective noun, I asked who was saying you had to, but you didn't really address it in a sense of your own self, unless I'm mistaken. I wasn't intending to claim you had, I meant to ask why these guys should be considered worse than them. I think, as Daft also pointed out in part, they're highlighting a good point. Also coming back to it, these guys and Actual rebels as you put it, where's the difference? What if it's just a target to pick on, a means to an end point, and nothing personal(lol)/more calculated than that? What if it's even a credit to the fact they're so good/popular etc?

Actually, yeah, I probabaly was/is/am more open on here generally than I am with my regular company, but that's cos there's no repercussions. There's still a sliver of me that's still closed now, possibly because Marcamillian is also on the forums now, but tbh I don't think I know anyone IRLOMG that knows more about me than him so even that doesn't matter. I just can't bitch about him like I used to back in the days :p Weird thing is, those like...core things my regular company don't know about me, some forumers like jay, do. I guess nobody has the whole big universal picture, though. In fact, I think it's something I desperately try to avoid anyone having, yet I'm not even sure I could vocalise why if I had to.

In line with the previous ego stroking, I like to try and think I'm pretty consistent across the board with all my social company(even though maybe I'm not, and note I say social not familial). With family, I swear much less, but the words mean nothing and the bluntness/harshness is there all the same, maybe even more so cos I can't even express as I usually would. On the forums, well, I'd like to think I'm pretty much me. However, much like yourself, this forums in part ARE me. Memeber since....4 and a half years now? Go to the meets, reference it in social conversation etc, it's very much a part of me. Maybe, except when drinking/in annoying mafias, I again don't swear as much as I do casually in every day conversation, but I'd say excepting that I'm still pretty me. You tell me though, you met me *IRL OMG*....was I any different to what you expected from the forums?

Not intending to take any sides, but it's annoying that people seem to think they're 'just' an innocent company, trying to get by whilst doing or causing no possible harm or wrongs. I'm not saying they ARE, just saying...companies losing a bit of money, compared to the ways some companies might shamelessly exploit their customers and make money...where's the difference? It's highlighting a much greater point in some respects, albeit at the cost of real, little people. The internet is a juvenile stage, and the world is watching. OOOooooooorrrrrrr.....maybe I'm just drunk.

Whilst I do agree with this in part, since EotW I don't like gambling on futures. I got lynched on no basis, and the whole 'we'll lynch x today and y tomorrow if x is z' or something along those lines absolutely seems to never even prove true. For that, I refuse to change my vote until I see a self admitted and lying killer lynched. Call me crazy for that.

Can't say I got used to it enough to comment, maybe if instead of being to the minute it was kind of like...staggered phases? Like...4 hour periods with a PM priority and then all powers take effect at that 4th hour? Kinda like a night phase on small scales?
