I was thinking this too when they were first released. I wanted a Bowsers castle like the Disney castle. But on thinking now, these are more inline with Mario toys. They are Lego and then have a uniqueness that no other Lego set has. Yes there are loads of expansions but some are priced pretty low.

woohoo. Also, this may help people. I’ve found a handy technique that may help you get rid of unwanted diy without selling them. If you wrap them up in wrapping paper you can bury them. I’m going to assume that you are also then going to be able to gift them to residents.

And I’d still take the Lego over that. I love Lego

Thanks to those that came over. Poor @Katie dug up the two booby prizes of tree branches and stones. No one dug up the Bells so they will stay for next time. I may even keep,the patch there and just add new prizes so people can just dig up when they come over. very surprised by the new blue roses.

Ok. Redd is on my island today. There’s one real painting left, the Jolly Painting (fruit looking lady). I’m going to open up this evening but am making it a free for all. I’m aiming to open from 8pm onwards. I’m also going to bury a bunch of stuff for people to play luck dip with (please try to only take one or two), they will be in a square patch so no need to search. If you do come all I ask is you leave 100 NMT, 2mil bells and your first born......... wait I mean water my flowers please. 😂 Especially the small fenced patch by the left beach.

I found that making a pattern that is just a square outline works really well as you can leave them on the ground whilst placing the building. and yes, just eat a piece of fruit and dig up the tree, then replant.

I’m guessing those have all gone now? The only things showing are the playing cards and Hanafuda sets. And even then the only things left are Splatoon, Kirby and Mario playing cards.

Definitely want Bowsers castle and Boos yard. Glad a few are in the £20 range too. Who am I kidding I’ll probably get them all eventually.
