This looks fun and very Nintendo. I can imagine playing some N64 games with that huge controller will require a few people. And the Wii one is just asking for mischief.

Apologies to all. Away with family on holiday but I tried using phone to hotspot the Switch to play. It’s been fine in the past for Smash but it just wasn’t playing ball. It would connect and I could see the room but it just wouldn’t let me join it no matter how many attempts. I’ll see you next Saturday and we can do the theme then.

I thought it might be team battles. Fun times. I’m on holiday but will be using phone to hotspot in. Last year it worked fine so shouldn’t have an issue.

Them nerves at the end though!? It could have gone either way with two holes to play. I got a bit of luck and just played it safe to take that win.

I was going to suggest a round of Mario Golf. Then we can take out our frustration after with guns and rockets.

Ah Mario Golf, possibly the reason why we can’t taunt or cheer in the newer games, right @Dcubed, @Glen-i, @S.C.G ? I can’t quickly find any of my highlights from NSO nights where all you hear is “FOoooooooUuuuuuuR” or “excellent” when a player hits it in the bunker. Great game though. We need another round guys.

I got Mario karted a lot tonight. And got Baby Parked hard too.

Oh wasn’t there a term for that in GoldenEye? I’m sure I’ve seen someone play that through with those settings. Well enemy health was lowest, enemy damage maxed so it was one hit kills all round and their accuracy was 100%. I’m assuming we can’t have invincible cheat on, but that does sound interesting. Shield and cloaking would come in handy.

Hey at least they don’t set the alarms off. “Ooh a red button”. Putting Enemy Rocket cheat on makes the game verge on impossible. It’s fun to mess around with cheats and Perfect Dark mode.

I would love it if it was someone’s idea of a joke to keep showing it. Like I’m sure it keeps getting mentioned at how everyone will just do that so they are just having fun. I still love the style of this and will pick it up.

Nice job @Dcubed, if you can do Perfect Agent and all cheats on there without save states then you’ve done more than me. I think I got about halfway through PA when I had to start using save states. I’m currently doing the co op mode with the sim buddies (which are crap, they get killed within a few minutes) and I still have one cheat left to get.

Shame you weren’t there earlier, we had some funny moments. One I remember was down to me and @Glen-i on Magicant. Assist trophy appears on a ledge below the main stage, Glen goes “ooh mine”, jumps under stage to ledge and it disappears just as he gets there. Plummets to death.

I now retire from Mario Party 1. It took 79 years but I finally won a game. I got lucky when @S.C.G got a warp block to land right by a star but I managed to get both a shortcut and enough to get that star. Then a double whammy with Boo stealing from @Glen-i and a star right after. PD was fun. Always gonna find it funny that people are more scared of a poison knife than a rocket launcher.

I knew about the DrugSpy trick and did use that when I did that one. Didn’t know about the lift being there. I know when I played on agent a managed to get the lift from the very bottom where the lasers are and went up to get into the plane. I didn’t have too much trouble with that one to get the cheat. Just enjoying using Perfect Dark mode now, setting enemy health to the max, unlimited ammo cheat and just holding down the fire button. Aim for the head and watch the jerking back and forth when you spray them with the Cyclone on Empty Clip mode. MP3? If it’s 1 then you’re a sicko , at least I could win on 3

Right, this has easily been the hardest one to get for me so far, yes, harder then the Institute one. I actually gave up on this last week whilst I was trying to do it as I just couldn't get anywhere near the time. I was always around 3:30. Just couldn't figure out how to trim it down as there just not a lot of time saving. After a break I started on it again. Made sure to get the first two Snipers in 5 seconds. good start, Savestate lol. Down the cave and grab an automatic from one of the guys and take out first sniper. Now had to be the time saver part. The Snipers. I had done this a few times where I thought it was good enough but I was then running up the steps to the villa, taking out the last two snipers and the timing was about 1:30 already. It just wasn't quick enough with all you had to then do. So after many reloads and finally getting a good aim at the snipers, I had it down to just over 1:15 when entering the villa which I thought should be enough from the times I was getting. Next bottle neck was the activating the windmill. So many times I'd get to the consoles and they just wouldn't activate when I pressed B, you need to be just right to get them. So many more reloads of the save state (a new one from just inside the villa ) and I'd done the best I could. Down the stairs, kill the three guys at the bottom and save state. I think the best I was at was around 2:11ish maybe a tad faster. But Since there's only the wine cellar left I thought it must be enough time. Well about 100 tries later (after getting it from 2:50 down to 2:34) I had the best run I could where I got the main guards in the head or blasted their chests enough where I didn't have to stop moving. Got the key and in the room not knowing the time. Finally did it though. That was such a pain in the arse and was easily harder then that 1:45 Institute one. Anyway, that just leaves 1 buddy cheat to unlock. DataDyne Investigation. The second level in the game on Perfect Agent.

So yes I said @Glen-i screwed me over a lot last night. upon getting this video I noticed it was him that cost me this GP because of his pet Plant.

Hey it’s not easy to place an item when you’re looking around to make sure nobody (@Dcubed) is gonna come up and knock it off you. Plus buttons are hard and it’s not intuitive to not press A to place something when that throws instead.

Ok @Glen-i officially screwed me over more tonight than ever. I should have easily won one of those GP’s but Glen and his damn red shells.

See much better choice. 😜 I did not remember that it was set there. Can’t recall going to the mall in SMS. I’m about an hour and a half from London and it has been pretty unbearable here too. Nights have been horrid.

You really couldn’t find something to replace Coconut Malls?! Shame! And London loop?! But it always rains in England lol

As @Glen-i, @Dcubed, @S.C.G and I have done on a few occasions when we play N64 NSO games online. They can be fun in short bursts but we never usually do more than one set. Greatest moment so far was all four of us drawing on the Ekans ring toss game.

Great games last night, there's only one highlight from @S.C.G's stream that needs to be watched. Well that was quick.
