  1. No? Rita QoS is just a booster coaster with a few turns in it, Air, is just too smooth. Oblivion is just a drop into a dark tunnel that has steam coming out :/ I'm not saying Thorpe Park is better, but it does have better rides, there's no denying it.
  2. Jesus fucking christ, why Alton Towers? It's fucking shit. (Maybe apart from Nemesis, but thats 1 ride :/)
  3. Yeah, thats what i thought a few weeks back at another meet i went to. 50 People turned up in the end :/
  4. Like F_Link said, London. It's pretty much the best place for meets. Or as the other thread says, Thorpe Park.
  5. Yeah, most software packages you can get weith graphics drivers are a bit crap.
  6. They stole an hour! Bastards!
  7. Wanna sell me your PSU? :P
  8. I have 3 PSU's here, all rated at 200W. For the 12v Rail, they're rated at 7A, 6A and 6A. Would it be possible to power a single PC using all 3, say if heat isn't an issue. To clarify, I was given a LanParty Nf4 SLI compatible Socket 939 motherboard, along with an Athlon 64 FX55, and a 6800 Ultra. According to some guides, that's gonna need about 19A to run (including hard drives and DVD drives etc, also with a tad of overhead.) If I got a PCIe 6-pin power converter thingy so I'd actually have the right connection would this be at all safe/possible to do?
  9. Probably glasses that are actually mini computers. Things like HUD displays pilots wear, just it'd have satellite connection to the net and people on the other side wouldn't be able to see it. Also, it's be see through when needed, correct my vision when see-through, turn black for some sunglasses, and be waterproof.
  10. Curve of x^2, the normal to the curve is at A(1,1), The normal cuts the curve to the left at B. Use differentiation to find the equation of the normal at A. Verify the point where the normal cuts the curve again has coordinates (-3/2 , 9/4). I do this by differentiating X^2 ( which is 2x), so the equation of the normal is y= -1/2x ? Then all I need to do is prove (-3/2 , 9/4) satisfies y=-1/2x? (which i don't think it does !_!) EDIT: Also, how do I find where: y= cuberootX - X^2 crosses the x-axis?
  11. did it manually :P
  12. hmm, are there SoundMax vista drivers out yet? Or will I actually have to plug my headphones into my Sounblaster (effort !_!)
  13. Oh god vista is awesome.
  14. A way that makes it legit, and not rely on changing the time. EDIT: Well, appear legit to Microsofts servers.
  15. "I am." has less letters than "To be." Therefore "I am." is shorter :P
  16. So do I, but I'm running WGA fine the :P
  17. I'm pretty sure XP needed WGA. It did when I decided to finally update.
  18. This is the kind of thing I'm looking for An extended version of that is: "Wouldn't the sentence 'I want to put two hyphens between the words Fish and And, and And and Chips in my Fish-And-Chips sign' have been clearer if quotation marks had been placed before Fish, and between Fish and and, and and and And, and And and and, and and and And, and And and and, and and and Chips, and after Chips?" A couple off wikipedia: "Lady Cavendish stood up and gathered her thoughts. ‘Indeed, the uses of had had and that that have to be strictly controlled; they can interrupt the imaginotransference quite dramatically, causing readers to go back over the sentence in confusion, something we try to avoid.’ ‘Go on.’ ‘It’s mostly an unlicensed-usage problem. At the last count David Copperfield alone had had had had sixty-three times, all but ten unapproved. Pilgrim’s Progress may also be a problem due to its had had/that that ratio.’ ‘So what’s the problem in Progress?’ ‘That that had that that ten times but had had had had only thrice. Increased had had usage had had to be overlooked, but not if the number exceeds that that that usage.’ ‘Hmm,’ said the Bellman, ‘I thought had had had had TGC’s approval for use in Dickens? What’s the problem?’ ‘Take the first had had and that that in the book by way of example,’ explained Lady Cavendish. ‘You would have thought that that first had had had had good occasion to be seen as had, had you not? Had had had approval but had had had not; equally it is true to say that that that that had had approval but that that other that that had not.’ ‘So the problem with that other that that was that . . . ?’ ‘That that other-other that that had had approval.’ ‘Okay,’ said the Bellman, whose head was in danger of falling apart like a chocolate orange, ‘let me get this straight: David Copperfield, unlike Pilgrim’s Progress, had had had, had had had had. Had had had had TGC’s approval?’" and "Esau Wood sawed wood. Esau Wood would saw wood. All the wood Esau Wood saw, Esau Wood would saw. In other words, all the wood Esau saw to saw, Esau sought to saw. Oh, the wood Wood would saw! And, oh the wood-saw with which Wood would saw wood! But one day, Wood's wood-saw would saw no wood, and thus the wood Wood sawed was not the wood Wood would saw if Wood's wood-saw would saw wood. Now, Wood would saw wood with a wood-saw that would saw wood, so Esau sought a saw that would saw wood. One day, Esau saw a saw saw wood as no other wood-saw Wood saw would saw wood. In fact, of all the wood-saws Wood ever saw saw wood, Wood never saw a wood-saw that would saw wood as the wood-saw Wood saw saw wood would saw wood, and I never saw a wood-saw that would saw as the wood-saw Wood saw would saw until I saw Esau Wood saw wood with the wood-saw Wood saw saw wood. Now Wood saws wood with the wood-saw Wood saw saw wood."
  19. That's a palindrome Other such examples include 'Rise to vote siR' and ' Step on no petS'
  20. No, this is not spam. This is a thread about the greatest sentence in the English language. Now let me show you how it's a valid sentence. Buffalo has 3 meanings in this case: Buffalo, as in the city (town?) Buffalo in America. buffalo, as in the verb. For this we can use either of these meanings. and Buffalo as in the animal. Say we replace the city with 'London', The verb with 'intimidate' and the animal with 'men'. This is what we'd get: [*]London men London men intimidate, intimidate London men. If it still doesn't make sense, this might help. [*]London men (that) London men intimidate, intimidate London men. Got any other cool things like this that seem to not make sense but do. I'll give a couple more examples if no-one posts them before me.
  21. Time to partition a hard drive and try it out EDIT: Legally of course :P
  22. Ok, I decided, I like this !_! It's too catchy for its own good.
  23. If you need help in this area I suggest you read the eBook 'The Game' by Neil Strauss (i think), If you want a copy PM me or something EDIT: On a more serious note, it's good to hear things are getting better, even if it's just slightly.
  24. Holy Shit she stole my hair style, I'm pretty sure I had the pink highlight waaaaay before she did fucking bitch ¬_¬ EDIT: Well this is a bit... different. Same old same old. Sounds like most other songs she has done. With an exception of Nobodies Home, live. I like that song.
  25. It works for me v0v. In fact the only time it hasn't worked I just rebooted my 360 and it worked, am I that lucky?
