Trying to figure it out now- So it seems that the 1996 SNES Harvest Moon game was published by Natsume in North America and Nintendo in Europe, and developed by Amccus. This is the first game in the Harvest Moon/Story of the Seasons series. According to wikipedia, there have only been five games with Harvest Moon in the title that are part of this second series (Puzzle de Harvest Moon, Frantic Farming, The Lost Valley Seeds of Memories and Skytree Village). Two of those games were puzzle games and one was a mobile game, leaving two games. Now is when it gets even more confusing, both of the games that are part of this second series seperate from the original Harvest Moon were publoshed by Natsume. I think that any game bearing "Harvest Moon" is Natsume outside of North America and Rising Star in Europe. This leaves the two "Story of Seasons" games which are published by Marvelous in Japan, X-Seed in North America and Nintendo in Europe. I don't really know if this has cleared anything up, but I am now dizzy from jumping between Wikipedia pages.

You had better apologize for that! -
Third party AAA games on Switch - A lost cause?
KingDeDeDe1337 replied to Hogge's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Surprising that it was announced on the Xbox 360. I thought Microsoft had all but thrown that in the landfill. -
This seems to be a Natsume game , which means that it will probably be released as Story of Seasons in North America and Europe. I am pretty confused reading about this though, as the game has yet to be added to the wiki page for either series.

The fact that this is not being released on Steam is breaking my heart. I feel like someone stole my backpack and took all the money out, but left my valuable figurines.

Anyone thinking of getting the Humble Bundle for this month? Not too many games in it but the average donation is quite low, can pick up the whole bundle for around 10 pounds. I was considering it just to see what the GOATY version of Goat Simulator is .

Really interested to see what new characters are in the game. I think it would be fair to assume that there will be at least a couple new characters, whether they be villians you fight against or heroes that have history with 'X' villain. I saw that Harley and Deadshot are coming which I see as just meh since that is an obvious cash in to Suicide Squad. I wonder if we will get anyone obscure like some of the characters in Marvel Ultimate Alliance?

Third party AAA games on Switch - A lost cause?
KingDeDeDe1337 replied to Hogge's topic in Nintendo Gaming
The only AAA games made by third parties that I want to see on the Switch would be sporting titles like Madden, NHL and FIFA. A new NBA game on the switch would be pretty awesome too, and that seems like it might actually be likely. -
Oh hell yes. I cannot wait to expose my girlfriend to the funny, wacky world that is Crash Bandicoot. I hope the boss fights all stay the same and they don't dumb them down for new players even more then they already are.

Whenever I play Stardew Valley I feel like I am playing the Harvest Moon game we were supposed to get 5 years ago, with an added 5 years of awesome ideas brought into the game. The first night I played Stardew I remember running around the town saying to my girlfriend "Oh this is like Harvest Moon. Oh wow so is this" and it got to the point where the game built on everything it had to pull from, instead of staying the same formula but with an added sprite for each character.

The best looking game of this generation
KingDeDeDe1337 replied to Fierce_LiNk's topic in General Gaming Discussion
I am quite partial to GTA V on the PC. I have it modded with some amazing graphics mods as well that make the game look more realistic than real life sometimes. -
I try to spend very little, and that means that I have only just started playing LA Noire. Seriously thought, the only times I actually spend good money on games is during Christmas and some before school sales when you can get the AAA games of that year for under $20. Other than that I stick to the discount bin and used games online.

This is so exciting. I wonder if the release has anything to do with Stardew Valley being released for the Switch this summer?

This is so good to hear! I will be heading out to the boot sales again this weekend and will be keeping my out for it, although I haven't seen many copies of it so I may have to head online to grab one if it is really as good as everyone says it is.

Hey everyone, thanks for welcoming me onto the forum with open arms! The other day I was looking at some car boot sales when I found a version of Punch Out! for the Wii. Has anyone here played this? The game looked like some sort of terrible cash-in remake that obviously didn't get Tyson's name. I did have to stop and think if it was a real or a counterfeit game from Thailand or something, but it seems to be real. What are your thoughts on it? If I see it again for a low enough price I might snag it, but my Wii collection is already full of terrible low rate games.
