I liked Modern combat (BF2 if ofc better), and bad company is much better than modern combat. Sure BF2 is great, but BC offers something new. It's perfect for a console game. It's absolutely high quality, the frostbite engine is amazing. And playing this game as a working squad is an amazing experience. BC is a evolution of MC, not BF2. And the full game is better than the demo. With more depth, unlocks and goals. I understand that you are disappointed if you expected "BF3", but you have to see the game for what it is. Indeed. MGS4 is a great game that is a lot better if you have played the earlier games in the series. (which I have). Act 4, is amazing. but mostly because of the "earlier games". Even some of the boss battles are sorts of Fan service. But MGS3 is a great game even if you haven't played the other mgs games. That is also one of the reasons I like 3 more than 4.

The best things about MGO is the depth. I didn't really like the controls in high action situations. But I still came out on top most times. Gonna explore MGO more when I get a new router.

I do agree that MGS4 has the best gameplay of the series. But MGS3 had better boss battles and a better story IMO. So over all I liked MGS3 better. (I played subsistence which is better than the original) Don't get me wrong. This game is awesome, and should be played. It's a lot better that GTA (not that those two games should be compared)

Great to see people with different standpoints. I do admit I'm more fond of Bad company than I should be. But I find it WAY better than MGO online. And i don't understand why you are complaining about the number of players. In nearly all the matches I have played (which are a lot) you have more than enough players to shoot at or hide from. The levels I have tested (ascension and Oasis) is perfect for 16players. Need to play MGO more, but at the moment I'd much rather play through the MGS single player again than play MGO.

Agreed. MGS3 > MGS4 Sorry Caris, but I edited so that it didn't spoil anything and so because "The Official MGS4 Thread" is a better thread title for the Official thread. Try attacking some of your friends with it in a cutscene One of the things I love about the game is all of that which is hidden, You can play through the game may times and discover new tings each time. Most games make awesome things and make you have to discover them, MGS just adds a lot of awesome stuff for fans to find.

MGS4 - Epic

a world without ID would be a world of kaos, It's great to be in the "system" :p Played it a bit. It's fun. Not sure if I'll keep playing it tough. TBH, gaming online without a headset is like drinking soda without a taste. And I don't think MGO isn't worth buying a headset for.

You unlock those weapons at level 25, so you have to play a lot to get them. I think their's something wrong with the demo servers now, cause when I was playing the beta and the early demo there where no lag. I could easily sit and snipe a whole platoon from far away. I really love this game (multiplayer), I'm always ranked in the top three ^^. One of the big let downs with the single player is that their's no penalty for dieing. You just respawn, no need to play tactical (as you can and should). You can just go in guns blazing, die, respawn and repeat.

I'w completed MGS4. And Ohhh what a game. It pretty much goes without saying, but this game was one hell of a ride. And for me who has a genuine interest in the story of MGS this game wraps it up good. This game is gorgeous and well thought through with million of small details and extras everywhere. But to be honest, this game is more fan service than a evolution. And all though this game is great, it's not my favorite MGS game. The boss fights where a let down and some of the movies scenes where way to long and without any important substance. But non the less, Buy this game, Play this game, Love this game. --- What reason Raiden had for trading in his humanity for a powered exo-skeleton suit is unknown, but it may have had something to do with the fact that the Patriots never gave him back his real blood when they replaced it with his nano-machines during the events of the Plant Chapter in MGS2

Get the Gold edition. You can unlock the sniper within the game. It's not that good either.

The servers seem to be down now :/ Just when i found out how to make a squad and play with my pals. A strange thing they left out from the demo that was in the beta is the "achievement" badge page and the dog tag page.Those features makes the multilayer a lot more fun. In the Dog tag page you see a record and rank of everyone you have knifed and if you/they took revenge In the achievement badge page you see how you unlock badges. That could be any thing from destroying an enemy tank while using the same type of tank, or using a special weapon/class/gadget to kill enemies. This makes people play more varied as the need to use all the classes and vehicles to get all the badges.

Been playing the beta for a while. The demo has a lot of improvements. And I must say I'm hooked. Single player is better than previous BF games [captain obvious] and the multi is brilliant once you wrap your head around the strange controls. And a little heads up. The first thing to unlock is the auto syringe or what ever it's called. unlimited use and gives you full heath on the assault class, imbalanced but great.
