OH MY FRACKING GOD, After spending an hour trying and failing to get that final S rank last night, i turned on my Wii today and got set for another session of trying to get the S rank. And i bloody well did it IN MY FIRST GO::shrug: Amazing what taking a break a do for your skillz, Got mirror mode open now, each course feels so damn new, i had to pretty much forget the "normal" tracks cause i kept going off jumps and turning in the wrong direction. Oh and unlocked the final truck which fracking RULES:bouncy:

I just had a good long session trying to complete my S ranks in Super Excite, all i had left were all the Platinum and Diamond cups, I managed to get an S rank on all Platinum tracks within about 45 mins, i was on a high just one more S rank to unlock mirror mode. I spent 1 whole hour trying to get that last S rank with no luck. I came close so many times, needing 200 i got 194 and 196, there was one point i had 170 points was in first place on the homestretch i could see the finish line and BANG hit a tree and ended up in 5th place, DAMN IT, i'm taking a break, my thumbs are sore

Given all the other things going on in this film and all the stuff that needs to be dealt with, mainly the Harry/Green Goblin 2 stuff, plus you got Sandman in the mix also if they manage to do the whole Venom story in this film then it will need to be a pretty long film, maybe 4-5hours, and i doubt that, so if they do try to do all that in one film it will end up very rushed and not so good:shakehead

Well i'd say part 4 is a given anyway seeing as we can tell they are setting up Venom to be the Villian in 4, given the amount of the story needed to develop Brock and the Symbiote characters before they become Venom that should take the whole of part 3. I think we had imagined in a previous thread that if they did manage to complete a trilogy of trilogies, that Part 3 would see the conclusion of the Green Goblin story arc and with the introduction of Venom not only setting up part 4 but also setting up the begining of the 2nd trilogy story arc, that being the Symbiote Arc (meaning Carnage would be along also, most likely round the end of Part 5 i would imagine). And the in order to truly make it a proper Trilogy of Trilogies, the 3rd Trilogy would have to deal with a story arc that has some relation to the 1st Trilogy (like the 3rd part of a proper trilogy always contains "echos of the past" usually from the 1st film), and only one story arc from the comics fits with that and that of course would be the Clone Saga story arc.

If the only motion control feature was to "clapping" the wiimote and nunchuck together then pushing them down/forward, like Edward has to put his hands together then touch an object to perform alchemy, i will consider it a must buy as an FMA nutter fan

On the subject of more films, There will most likely be more Spidey films, I remember Rami once said he'd like to make 9 films (or a trilogy of trilogies), i never expected Toby or Kristen to stay past 3 films, which is fine, they'll complete a trilogy, then when it comes time to work on the 2nd trilogy get a new cast as required and sign them for 3 films and repeat as needed. This will make sure that each trilogy is proper, allowing for story arcs to be completed and new ones started nicely

Holy crap, i just watched the "Home" trailer on Gametrailers, it's like a fracking Sims MMO thing or something. And obviously the Characters you make in it are gonna get compared to the Mii's and obvious differenance between them. The only advantage I think the Mii's have is that they can be used in games, i don't think they mentioned anything about the Home people being in games.

hhhmm.... just realised I missed out on one thing in "my theory", which i'll add now. Also Link To The Past and The Wind Waker can not take place in the same timeline. The easiest way to see the this is to place both their intro backstories side by side. ... Ok it took me a while but i found them, unfortunately i don't think i can make a table on the forum to put them side by side so one above the other will do. 1st: Link To The Past Intro 2nd: Wind Waker Intro Now all you have to do is look at how in the begining they are both very similar, and you can see they are both referencing the story of Ocarina of Time, however ONLY the Wind Waker intro mentions "The Hero of Time", since this takes place within the "Adult" timeline where the people of Hyrule would have spent seven years under Ganons rule and finally saved by "The Hero in Green" Now in the LTTP intro there is no mention of Link, in fact you can see from this that Ganon never had his seven years on the throne, so this is taking place in "Child" timeline, it gets to the point when Ganon enters the Sacred Realm, but he is then sealed inside when the "Seven Wisemen" sealed the gate (after Link was returned to the past by Zelda at the end of OOT). So both these games MUST take place in seperate timelines (LTTP in the Child and WW in the Adult) And here's something new i just thought of now, I just realised the game people want to show "the great flood", we could already have! Generally most people say that both LTTP and WW could actually be taking place at the same time in their respective timelines, But could LTTP actually be taking place at the time the Great Flood was about to happen in the Adult timeline. The events of LTTP could have happened in Adult timeline too, think of "The Great Flood" as the "bad ending" to LTTP if Link wasn't there to save the day. Where in the Child timeline Links bloodline was still carried on (and with it the Triforce of Courage) when Ganon returned there was a Link there to stop him and so we have LTTP. But in Adult timeline, there was no bloodline, the triforce of courage was broken and scattered across the land and the Goddesses had not yet seen the need to "create/reincarnate" a new Link in that timeline, therefore when the Ganon in that timeline escapes and mirrors the beginings of LTTP he is not met with another Link and this then leads to what we know as the Great Flood. Just a thought:indeed:

Fine Again is a wicked song, was perfect for the credits of 1080, and i always used it for some of the longer tracks on it for a kind of "chill out" run. That album is also another gem, though their follow up album, Karma and Effect was a bit of a let down. I like to use Fine Again on Excite Truck for replays.
