Because driv3r was the worst pile of mush ever coded. You had reviews telling lies giving it 90%/ 9/10 etc. and others telling the truth like 4/10 and 56% I'm going to eventually get sonic, it reminds me a lot of sonic rush which I think is decent didn't get all that great reviews but I think its a brilliant game. I would say don't rely on reviews so much, many of the are bias, and could stop you from having some of the best game experiences you've ever had. If I had gone along with all the reviews I would never have got Symphonia, and that would be a crime.

Also altered beast had a poor performance in the ps2 outing it did. So scratch that.

One was announced today, tales of fandom, Japan only. But meh.

Should have saved their time and used leftover windwaker boxes and made players choice boxes gold instead of copying sony with the whole platinum thing.

At the moment for many developers the ps2 is still a profitable platform to develop for. Cheaper, easier, and that massive install userbase. More so than the ps3. The ps2 won't die for now. Even the original playstation lived into a portion of the ps2's life.

Tales of fandom volume 2...... For the ps2. Well it was fun while it lasted. As I sort of thought it involves more of Mr Fujishima's work which is a good thing. The game just has characters from which he did the artwork for. Japanese website was updated at 6pm today.

I don't think it even made it to players choice. Players choice died out pretty fast with only about 20 or so titles on it. Most of them from Nintendo.

Its too early in the day (Japanese day) for anything to be there yet. But I would say we should see something later on tonight.

Mainly the loading times is what people hated the most. And a bit choppy here and there.

Yep they were second party at the time. Now gone third working on too human. And also doing some sort of Colaboration with Sega on HD games.

Sorry due the collectors edition was the ps2 re-release. So thats why you missed out on all those awesome battles. Also Abyssion was made alot harder by having pretty much all the hi-ougi's. But I suppose if you wanted to a japanese ps2 doesn't cost much these days.

You missed out some amazing battles. Like how the tos collectors edition had that Vs. Mithos, Kratos and Yuan Battle. + many others.

All I know from namco is that it involves tales of abyss as fact. Possibly a collectors edition like what was done with symphonia.

Yeah I suppose wii controls would be good, but I think they wouldn't want to change the formula too much, I'm all for being more involved, but I don't want to have to do a 5 arm slashing combo and then use the nunchuk + wii remote to do a rising falcon or something. One thing I did say on the survey which should be included in later tales games was a 4 person unison attack compound skill. I would love a couple of those. Personally I think Namco should make nintendo the flag ship of the tales series, mainly because final fantasy is a game that will sell the playstation while tales wouldn't be considered to in the same way. Final fantasy has the edge over the tales series in that they have been established in other continents far longer than any tales game. With only side stories or spin off titles making it to nintendo, bringing the main titles in the tales series to nintendo consoles wouldn't be a bad idea.
