Like I said on Discord.. Pascal doesn't seem to do anything with Scallops already in inventory, and pearl oysters, are just that, pearl oysters. Peals will appear on their own. So sell them.
-
That's a good point.
-
Well.. That's essentially what happens.
-
I obviously don't know how he actually fits in with the rest of the visitors (he isn't even mentioned in that tweet @Tales posted). All I know is he can appear as soon as you find a scallop. Once a day? Once a week? Random chance whenever you find a scallop? Who knows.
-
I'm open to suggestions.
-
You can't, making it not worthwile for most people, but some of us still just want to catalogue everything. It makes things available at Harv's.
-
I'm not sure how I'm going to spend my Saturday yet, but regardless, we would need to order today. You can suggest something later. @markderoos also wasn't fond of sunday. Monday evening could work, though personally I may be mostly AFK.

Doesn't work for Nook miles items. Anyway, we were discussing on the discord about having a little Nook mile item catalogue party.. A few of us would order a bunch of stuff, then place it on (I suggest) my market place for catalogueing. I was thinking Sunday, so we would need to order stuff Saturday. We would need to make a list lof things. @markderoos @BowserBasher @Vileplume2000

He is, you need to find a scallop.

And in case someone wants to come over: It's public, but I don't have visitors so far. -
Local Multiplayer It's definitely going to be an N64 game.. But which one? Mario kart 64 There were other candidates, Goldeneye got played a lot, ands there was of course its predecessor, the SNES Mario Kart. Perfect dark wasn't really as popular amongst my friends.. I think i was the only one who had the game. Likewise, Smash Brothers 64 never got played. So my fondest memories of couch multiplayer were of mario Kart 64. Unfortunately, those were the golden days of local multiplayer, and while I had the occasional local multiplayer parties after highschool, they were few and far between, to the point of practically non-existent.. So sadly, there's probably never going to be anything that will top 4 player Mario kart, trying to fire a lightning when someone was in the middle of a jump.. I'm also going to mention a few NES co-op games where I had fun playing with my brother, like the Rescue Rangers or MC kids, that we rented from a video store (remember those?)

Yeah, I just found Sahara. Didn't see her earlier, because she's a bit in a weird place. A small hill with no inclines towards it. Ugh, that would be bad haha. Though I was thinking about it yesterday, and I haven't seen Label all that much actually. I think 4 times max since start of the game. They jusyt mneed to make all visitors random. And include the weekend.

I'm not sure what his deal his.. But Pascal mentioned something about trading scallops for pearls. I found a few more scallops after the initial one.. And I even found a pearl on my own. But Pascal is not where I found him..?

No, it's wall-mounted furniture. -
Was just going to mention the bamboo grass yeah, looks cool. The other 2 items have been available for some time. Diving is fun! Though I wish there were some clear marked areas in the sea, with specific creatures being located in specific places, like a reef, or the pier and airport that are already there. Swam around my island, caught 11 thingies so far. Diving is not going to make you rich, most stuff I found was sub-1000. The most expensive creature so farwas the mussel, at 1500. Everything was also available at all times, with the exception of the spotted garden eel, which doesn't come out at night. I'm heading to a Nook tour island right now, and I'll try diving at night as well. Met Pascal in the water. I think Sahara was scheduled for today.I wonder if Pascal kicked her out, and if it was a scripted one-off, or if they changed the schedules. Anyway, I got a recipe for a mermaid chair. Now to find those pearls..

Sorry, I had him earlier this week. I forgot to mention this. I was thinking "well, let's get some more use out of him besides selling 2 stacks of weeds". So I wanted to buy a few flowers.. Red lilies and yellow hyacinths I believe. He didn't have them. Edit: Does anyone need a boomerang or starry sandbeach DIY? -
They're available July 9th.
-
I didn't have the space to try to clear most of my clothes, luckily I had some visitors helping me out, getting rid of the clothes. I sold the remaining DIY cards, and picked up most of the clothes.. Checked, and I now have a golden watering can recipe. But at no point in the last few days (or even since almost the start of the game probably) was there a time when the island was clear of stuff as it was right at that moment. So I still find it curious.
-
I doubt it was one of the strangers visiting last night.. And I ALWAYS have stuff on the ground. I've been moving them around the last few days, but there wasn't a moment where there wasn't anything on the ground. But I'll probably do an experiment.. I'll just sell all the clothes that are still on the market after tonight, then check the rating tomorrow.

Opening section of a game First thing that came to mind.. Was Zelda OoT, and Metroid Prime mentioned above is also a good one Edit: as is Fallout 3. I can probably think of more if I didn't have such a bad memory, however, I'm going with: Soma For story reasons.. I'm not sure if I should explain what happens in the opening section. I'll say this: Soma is a first person survival horror, but you won't get any of that in the opening section. It's more like a.. drama? But you have no idea why the game opens the way it does, until you piece together the story later. I absolutely loved the realization of what the opening section was in context.. It's part of why I consider Soma one of the best stories in gaming ever. That's cheating.

None of you happened to plant a lily of the valley yesterday? I noticed one today, it wasn't there before. But I do not have a 5 star rating.

I wish I had noticed much earlier.. That said, I didn't have a meteor shower, so you would have needed some patience. I only got a few stars myself. @Tales looks to have got you covered, but if you need more "shards", I can part with some as well. I can probably part with plenty.. Was fun though. It was the 3rd time I got the Celeste / Wisp combo. I'm not complaining. I just got up, so I'll go check if there's something interesting on my island worth mentioning. -

I know it's late.. But I just booted the game up quickly to do Wisp's minigame.. and saw Celeste was visiting. I didn't notice her earlier in the evening. If you're up and want to meet her, you're welcome. Dodo = LVSNQ I'll do some inventory management, then I'm off to bed while I post the code on twitter, and let the Switch run until the sleepmode kick in. -
I think I'll try to go for "hard mode" which means I need to think ahead of what games I'm going to mention where.
