Excellent result for us today. 2-1 at Preston, who have a very impressive home record this season. We scored directly from a free kick, scored a penalty and also socred comical own goal too so it was a pretty entertaining match. We have 4 games left now and 3 of them are at Oakwell, so, without trying to tempt fate, we should be safe. Took ages to get to Preston on the train though, never realised it was so far from Sheffield.

I thought the UEFA Euro demo was awesome too, can't wait to waste £40 on that bad boy. Woo! Finally got over 10 000 gamerpoints.

Woo. Fuck yeah. Come on Barnsley. What a result against Watford! Up to 18th now and we still have a game in hand. What a way to bounce back from Wembley. I'm off to Deepdale on Saturday to cheer on the boys, lets get another win!

It was a very entertaining match tonight. I think Liverpool edged it personally. Decent results for us in the Championship tonight also, Blackpool lost and Wednesday drew. If we win at Watford tomorrow (It's unlikely, but they have an awful home record and we have the worst away record, so something has to give), we'll be out of the relegation zone and with a game in hand. Come on Barnsley! Put the disappointment of Wembley behind us!

Just bought myself a retro-ish (96) England shirt, bit of an impulse buy as it's not going to be unused over the summer. It's not signed by Gazza but it does have his name and number on it.

You don't need any of those players really though. They are squad players at best with the exception of Hargreaves.

I played FIFA with my mate and the Liverpool-Arsenal match finished 5-5. 2 for Mascherano, 1 for Kuyt, 1 for Torres and 1 for Gerrard. Adebayor scored all 5 for Arsenal. Get your bets on this guys! Haha.

I'm hoping your hat tastes great. Pepe Reina has never kept a clean sheet against Arsenal, and with his form recently it doesn't really seem likely that he's going to achieve that tonight.

Didn't they do a similar thing in Milan? It's not completely out of the question. I think Liverpool will win though, I'm going for 2-1, Arsenal to score first though.

What a missed opportunity today was. Really felt we could have won the match if we had players who could finish. Oh well, we still had an amazing run. Wembley is a special place too, I like the new place. I want Pompey to win it though, can't have our cup going out of England for another year.

Good plan Davey_T. Need to get myself some snacks too for the journey down. I couldn't afford the luxury of train travel when I booked so I have a 4 hour coach journey ahead of me. It's gonna be worth it though.

Dogs win, I have only ever had a Dog as a pet so I can't really compare fairly. Those Cats on the teletext holidays ad are pretty cool though.
