I thought it was a pretty good issue too - I enjoyed all the reviews in the handheld section. To add to what gaggle64 said, in the Mario Kart review, NGC point out "Because the public servers weren't 'live' when we wrote this review, we can't tell you just how busy it might be or whether there will be any problems with lag. We'll bring you a full report soon, and publish our own friends codes so you can thrash us senseless."

Sorry, can't see any mention of VJ. Haven't read it in detail yet though. I've got someone picking me up a copy from the US soon. It's due out the 3rd February 2006 in the UK. You can preorder it from Simply Games for £19.98.

NGC isn't going to finish just yet - I found a thread on Gamesradar and Geraint from NGC says: "Seeing as I can't be bothered to reply to the PM's I've had about this, I thought I may as well post it up on here.. No, NGC is not closing down - it's business as usual. Not sure where the rumour started, but it isn't true." Although the CUBE team didn't know they were out of jobs until the last minute so you never know!

Would it be possible to rename the Trade board as 'For Sale/Bargain Board' like in the old C-E forums? Dunno if you've seen my thread in General Chit Chat but it looks like a few people think the Trade board is just for private trades rather than a place to find/post web bargains.

Hmm, perhaps that why some people don't look. The board doesn't just contain private sales and trades. All the threads I post on the Trade board are links to good deals on the web at sites like Play, Simply Games, GAME, DVDBlah, etc. Perhaps it should be renamed 'For Sale/Bargain Board' like it was in the old C-E forums so people know what it's about.

Does anyone look in the Trade section? People post good deals there but hardly anyone looks at the threads. I've posted a couple myself which only have 1 view and that's probably from me. Don't you like me?! Or do people just see the thread title and go and search for themselves? Just curious! EDIT: Whoops, my poll question makes no sense whatsoever [can I edit it!?]. Yeah, it's true. Issue 52, which is in the shops now (came out on Thurs 17th), is the last ever issue. See this thread in the GameCube forum.

Yeah, I reckon there's definitely room in the market for a handheld magazine. I always used to buy GB Advance, Total Advance, etc. when they were about. I've only recently started buying magazines like CUBE, NOM and NGC because I bought a GameCube to go with my DS and GBA. Didn't bother buying them before because half the mag wasn't relevant to me! I also picked up the last ever issue of CUBE today so will post game scores later when I get home from work for those interested.

I work in publishing so much prefer having a magazine you can actually hold and keep rather than read onscreen, which I find a bit tiring on the eyes!
