No matter how much I tried to understand that game (when playing it in the various Yakuza titles) I just couldn’t get my head around it. Well done.

Yes and no. I mean for those that have accomplished most of what they set out to do in terms of designing their island or collecting items, then yeah. But for people that are going at a slower pace, or anyone that’s yet to even start playing the game, there’s no doubt some additional features (like being able to easily sell items to others) would still be very welcome.

I find it utterly bizarre that there’s no way for players to list items for sale in this version of Animal Crossing. That has been a feature of every other game in the series (excluding Wild World) even Pocket Camp! They’re obviously planning to add content/features in the future, so I guess there’s still a chance it could eventually appear, but for this basic functionality not to be included from the start is very strange indeed. Personally, I’d love for the gyroid outside your house to return from the GCN version. Or how about simply allowing players to sell items in any empty spaces inside their Nook’s? That feels like something which could potentially be added very quickly, and would be hugely beneficial to the online component of this game.

Leaving my gates open for any last minute shoppers, and if anyone that hasn’t visited yet today could pop over to do a bit of watering I’d really appreciate it, think I’m quite close to getting the elusive golden sparkles on my flowers!

Anyway, there’s torrential rainfall on my island at the moment (looks like thunderstorms could be on the way ) so leaving my gates open for a bit. Not much interesting in Nooks, but Ables has the Royal crown in-stock, if anyone has 1,200,000 bells burning a hole in their pocket. Saharah is also wandering about.

I too am still struggling with growing those (and the other low chance hybrids) but apart from having other people water the flowers, there isn’t really much you can do. Anyway, let us know whenever your gates are open, and if I can make it, I’ll gladly help out with that.

Anyone got a spare DIY recipe for the sandy-beach flooring? Want to get the summer season items made, but am missing that ingredient. Failing that, would someone that has already learned the recipe be willing to craft a sandy-beach flooring for me?
