@Mokong Do this. It's what I do and it works brilliantly.

[TWEET]597865687793696768[/TWEET] The project has reached its £1.5 million target on Kickstarter, so we'll have an orchestrated soundtrack. All of us backers are getting a sweet reward if it reaches its next target of £2,000,000. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/playtonic/yooka-laylee-a-3d-platformer-rare-vival/posts/1228142 Yooka-Laylee Interview: PlayTonic Games Delivers A Rare Treat Indeed http://www.thejimquisition.com/2015/05/yooka-laylee-interview-playtonic-games-delivers-a-rare-treat-indeed/

I immediately thought of Delboy as soon as I seen that brick mobile phone. Then reading his description, "flash, wheeler dealing serpent, smug, serpent salesman thinks he’s the bee’s knees (not that he has knees)." If the estate of John Sullivan decided to sue they wouldn't have a leg to stand on.

A lot of people saying Mario Strikers but I think if there's to be a sports game I'd like for it to be Matio Golf. Though having that awful Wii Sports U Golf might hamper this wish. Oh yeah and the 3DS version is there. Might actually help, SM3DL didn't stop SM3DW from happening. And it's the sports franchise that hasn't been on Wii anything. It would lend itself well to DLC too. I don't like Mario Strikers, I own and played them but I prefer the real game aka PES. What are Camelot doing?

I often wanted to play modes like Search & Destroy, Capture The Flag or other modes but the numbers just aren't there on the Wii U. You'd have anywhere from a few hundred to a 1,000 players if you were lucky. All played Team Deathmatch and Free For All. That was a long time ago. I might put in BLOPS II and Ghosts to see the number of players. Blops II = 538 players Ghosts = 356 players

COD has so many multiplayer modes. Splatoon is very lacking in this regard. Where's modes like Last Inkling Standing, Free For All or Search & Destroy?

Not outside the bounds of possibilities. KOEI TECMO are back again making...

Iwata says there won't be any talk about NX, smartphone games or its Quality of Life platform at this year’s E3: We do not plan on talking specifics about the NX until 2016. Presently, we cannot talk about the time period when it will go on sale or what it’s like. Because we are calling it a ‘new concept,’ we are not thinking of this as a ‘simple replacement’ for the 3DS or the Wii U. Incidentally, we’re getting various questions for this year’s E3, like ‘Won’t there be a NX announcement?’, ‘Will there be a presentation on smart devices?’, or ‘Will there be more on the quality of life platform?’ However, since we understand that E3 is an event for dedicated video game machines, we do not intend to discuss the smart devices as well as quality of life.

I think everybody would choose that.

No, they just need to get with the times and include the feature. It's also about making it more enjoyable and it would give the game more legs.

Fran was absolutely right to write what he wrote yesterday. It needs to be said and by more journalists. http://ie.ign.com/articles/2015/05/10/dear-nintendo-splatoon-needs-a-voice-chat-option It's such a contentious issue. When I looked at it yesterday it had 7,000 comments in 12 hours. 7,000! It's needed for such basic things like even before a match starts, communicating what weapons you're picking. All 4 going in with charge shot weapons isn't going to end well I think. Also when playing the demo I found at times we were spraying the same area which is a waste. Just to say something like "I'll go left" or "you go right" would be helpful. There's many examples of how useful it would be and it will only help add to the immersion and enjoyment. And Fran was a big fan of Nintendo, sure he worked on the Nintendo side of the site for years. He's a perfect example of a fan being driven away by Nintendo's decisions.

The game didn't exactly set the UK chart alight this week. There's a chance it'll be out of the charts by next week. Kirby and the Rainbow Paintbrush Fails to Break Top 20 in UK Charts Puzzle & Dragons dual pack fares worse http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2015/05/kirby_and_the_rainbow_paintbrush_fails_to_break_top_20_in_uk_charts

Very impressive!

For such a $h1t€ game it has sold remarkably well. Additionally, in this fiscal year SEGA are planning on releasing 34 games, 14 in Japan and 20 in the West. http://www.perfectly-nintendo.com/sega-620-000-units-sold-for-sonic-boom/

Nintendo & DeNA Business Agreement - Nintendo on Smartphones
Wii replied to Serebii's topic in Nintendo Gaming
They've promised a lot of things in the past and failed to deliver. Adding more platforms to the mix I feel will only result in dilution of their output unless they have the staff to cope. E.g. They said they learned from the 3DS launch, they didn't. They said Wii U wouldn't have droughts. It did and does. They said online would be the air that we breathe. It isn't. They said there'd be more Wii U Gamecube adapters. There aren't. They said amiibo would be sorted. It isn't. And on and on. And they said I'd be playing Zelda Wii U this Christmas. I won't be. -
Are you talking about region locking or voice chat?
-
Its shortness is one of the reasons I'm not getting this game and I agree it should be lower priced. I hope Yoshi's Woolly World isn't as short. And you know what, I expect Nintendo to announce more short games like this at E3. I feel like Nintendo are just going through the motions with some of their games until they can forget about Wii U and move onto the NX.

Neither is Teslagrad as far as I'm aware. It has been on sale before with 50% off I think. I should have bought it. There'll be new offers announced tomorrow morning of what will be live next Thursday.

Nintendo and voice chat? They'll figure it out eventually. They're just a little behind the times.

New video from Nintendo of Japan. It's not all original footage but there are new bits interspersed throughout.
