Ya, just heard the news. I welcome it if it does happen. I would always want UK PAL games where possible but for those games like Excitebots, still don't know why that didn't come here, it gives us a choice to import.

I agree. Yes it seems to go on forever. It covers far more area than the other weapons before recharging and more quickly too.

I gave the last session a miss. I'd seen enough in the first 2 and for my sanity I needed to get out for a bit. Still knackered mind you.

I hope Nintendo announce more online sessions after this evenings. Or a single player demo. I wouldn't be surprised. The more exposure the better.

That's why I won't be too harsh on it. Maybe turf wars isn't my favourite mode. The guns seem nerfed, like the roller though. Or maybe I just need to get better at it. I think the single player will be good and more focused. I'm a bit indifferent to the demo. It's limited so what do you expect? Having played both sessions so far I do think voice chat would help and if nothing else it'll add to the immersion.

Trine 2 and Toki Tori 2. Wait for them to be on special though. As I said in the other thread, Steam World Dig is a great game and probably your best bet at this time as it's on special.

I don't know what to make of the game.

I thought the Skulltula would be at the centre of the web, didn't realise it was a search within the web and that they're hidden. Their sound helps a tiny bit. I did try Adventure Mode but realise now I'm way to weak and it's all locked away really. It's a good game, I like it, something I'll pick up now and again to complete. It's very deep with so much to do and customise. I unlocked the Smithy but haven't made anything yet.

Yes, it's a very good game and worth the money. I think I completed it in about 15 hours but I did explore every nook and cranny, took my time and did every upgrade in the game. It's got a bit of a Metroid/Dig Dug vibe going on.

They didn't spend a penny on advertising it, Nintendo have sent so many games out to die in the past because of this. Give it some proper promotion like Mario, Pokemon and Zelda get and sales would be different. A brilliant game and it looked class but was F-Zero GX high budget? Didn't Wipeout sell well on the Playstation? And that pales in comparison to F-Zero but that series got advertising. F-Zero GX deserved more recognition from the public, no point having a great game and it reviewing well if nobody knows about it.

I am so tired. The day is messed up now. Got 2 & 1/2 hours sleep. Will need more after the second demo but I don't during the day very well if at all. Was it worth it? I suppose it was alright, I think the controls need more getting used to and affected my enjoyment. The Splattershots feel weak, the charge shot too, having to repeatedly press the button to spray is not fun but I think the same of similar weapons in COD. It was hard to aim accurately and pull off a charge shot, at least for me(didn't know motion controls could be turned off, so will try that later). The roller is great fun and my definite favourite. It covers so much ground and it's satisfying to run someone over with it.

I struggled with the motion controls, didn't realise they could be turned off. I'd like motion controls in a wiimote/nunchuk setup. I think that's the best control scheme for shooters. Got d/c a load of times but that was fine, it was only really between matches, just once was during a match. Won as many matches as I lost. I'll see about the next session. I'm wrecked now. Still, it's the first time in a long time where it's come out on top as the best selling console for the week. Nearly everything in that post I hate. What is wrong with you? :p I agree on Metroid but it needs to be third person. Why does F-Zero have to be low budget? Everything else can be thrown in a bin especially the amiibo idea.

Not being bad but I'm not hyped. If Nintendo surprise me then great but I don't expect there'll be a lot on the Wii U front. And that's because I think the NX will release next Christmas. Zelda was the big game for this year but now it's a complete no show. It'll probably be the Wii U's swan song with an NX version planned as well. It's best not to get too hyped as for me at least the last few years haven't really been that great. But what I would like is: Metroid F-Zero Earthbound A real 3D Mario Paper Mario What I could see is Pikmin 4, Super Mario 3D World 2, Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker 2. Easy sequels basically.

Nintendo are sending out Spotpass adverts to our Wii U regarding the Splat Fest. That's the American one but I can confirm I received it and ours looks much more colourful.
