You will void your warranty. It's hard to know. Usually when you send something back, they ask for everything including the box and receipt or at least that's been my experience. But then others have only sent their gamepad back and not the console. The only compartment you're allowed open is the battery compartment. If they see the gamepad has been tampered with I'd say they'd void everything. Last option from me is it could just be a dead Pikmin inside.

The other thing is the face buttons, x, y, a, b buttons. They rattle a lot too, way more than the stylus. Press them in and shake the gamepad. Does it still rattle?

Where did countless "Iwata Asks" take place? Were they held in a usually white or similar colour sterile room?

Iwata speaking about the dedicated games platform business: What do you think that could be? I have thought before that a reason they've held back voice chat is that they'll offer a service but we'll have to pay for it. And that they'd use the reasoning that this would be a way to rule out kids hearing bad language as a credit card would be needed to buy the service and that because we pay for it that they can now afford to make a better online service. Voice chatless online would still be free.

I bought it so that could be seen as negative The reviews aren't great and the port wasn't all it could have been and then the framerate supposedly isn't great either. But it's what we've got so like it or lump it. Don't know whether I'll play it. It's Ubisoft's last game on the Wii U unless something dramatically changes and it could be a collectors item in years to come if kept sealed. I'm not being petulant. I bought it. Mostly what I post in here is stuff I come across and am interested in myself.

I don't deny I criticise Nintendo but it's only because I care. You don't ever see me in the PS4 or XBOX1 threads. Why? Because I don't give a damn about them. I knew Nintendo were doomed before the launch of the Wii U. How come I could see the $h1tstorm coming but they couldn't? This is their job, their sole purpose as a company, they don't have other departments like the other companies. The reason I continually criticise them is that this isn't like a one game thing, fine, let's all move on. This is a console(Wii U) that is around for years with daily reminders of their mistakes. Voicechat? I'm hardly alone in criticising them about that. It's here and on every forum. Their refusal to embrace change and Splatoon is more regressive than Smash and MK8 in that regard. I'll show you what I said about Splatoon after the Direct, give me a minute to find the quote. I was hardly critical. And especially compared to what others here were saying. See now, where have I complained about "Splatoon, Pikmin 3, Mario Kart, smash, mario, yoshi"? I own all those games or soon will. I probably own as many if not more Wii U games than most people on this site. Sure I don't care for Mario Maker in the slightest but I'm hardly in its thread every day bashing it. Nintendo aren't perfect and if they deserve criticism I'll give it. I'm not a blind fanboy though I freely admit I once was. I'm not a Microsoft or a Sony owner, never have been, so I can't be accused of any bias for them.
