  1. Mario Party 10 or Mario vs Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars are the clear favourites for that award though let's not rule out Projects Humpty and Dumpty just yet.
  2. I read that either yesterday or the day before. It sounded fake, not saying it is. If it's real, she's wise beyond her years. It's just too pefect and balanced and from a 10 year old?
  3. Why is this world full of so many @ssholes? People already have the Squid Inkling amiibo on Ebay for €40. And that's just Irish sellers. I did think that I could have bought the Collectors Edition in Smyths together, sold the amiibo and the game could have cost potentially €15. And I wouldn't be waiting 4 more days for the game either. But I'm not a scumbag. Everbody seems to be at it with other amiibo.

  5. Why Sepp Blatter deserves our support
  6. It's not unreasonable. Just send it out a day or two earlier for "international" customers. They make sure to charge us for postage but lump us together with UK buyers in sending it out at the same time. Why do they send it out on Wednesday for UK buyers? Sure, f*** them, right? Post it on Friday. It's not like anybody cares. Oh yeah and they took 5 days to answer my e-mail. Only bothered to answer when they were sending the game out. That's not good customer service.
  7. Splatoon takes over Adrenaline Alley Skatepark Thegamecollection let me down today, no delivery. Now I've to wait 4 days more at least. I'm go to have some words with them over this. Thought my Yoshi's Woolly World order was with them and was going to ask for a refund. But it's Rakuten. Are they the parent company of a lot of these other online stores? Good company but first and last time I'll order a launch game with them.
  8. Regarding the Splatoon shortages in Japan, Nintendo have issued an apology. [TWEET]604233317760684032[/TWEET] Google Translate:
  9. The UK site now has todays update. https://www.nintendo.co.uk/games/oms/mario30/index.html#/
  10. I should have also said, Monster Hunter drives sales of consoles. It doesn't matter what platform it's on. The Wii U doesn't have 3rd party support so Nintendo would do well to pay for its exclusivity. Who ever gets MH would be paying for it or cutting Capcom a good deal. Anyway, it's all just speculation.
  11. This is the feed for Sundays Japanese Direct if people want to bookmark it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gDDwZ7A4QIk
  12. Splatoon - Splat or be Splatted! (Wii U) And there's talk that demand has outstripped supply.
  13. The Wii U has a 1,000,000 more consoles sold in Japan than the PS4, Monster Hunters biggest market. So no, I won't imagine anything but you can keep dreaming. By the way there's nothing wrong with MH3U online infrastructure on the Wii U.
  14. I was just going to say that but you know who is probably already making one if he's online. Edit: He's not online. That's 11a.m. BST. Isn't Sunday unusual for a Direct?
  15. It's not that I desperately want Pikmin 4 though I wouldn't say no. I can picture Nintendo just seeing out the last year and a half of the Wii U by making easier games. They have the engine, might as well get the most out of it and make improvements similar to Pikmin 2 being better than the original. They can add online for starters.
  16. Japan is getting more Marth, Ike, Lucario, Meta Knight, Lucina, and Robin amiibo next month. God knows they need them more than any other region. [TWEET]604166105540612096[/TWEET]
  17. They're free to air channels so there's nothing illegal about it.
  18. You can get all the UK terrestrial channels including all the various BBC's for free on satellite. Who makes money there? Nobody.
  19. That's the North American press release. We get our European press release on Mondays excluding bank holidays. There's sales on there like the Transformer, Spiderman, Zumba and Fit Music that aren't valid over here.
  20. Nintendo has updated the Mario 30th anniversary website with a history and timeline of the Mario series from its very beginning right up to the catastrophe. http://www.nintendo.co.jp/mario30th/sp/history/index.html
  21. I was exactly the same. Loved the different strike animations and how you could clobber the opposition.
  22. Mario Tennis is far more true to the real game than Strikers. And Mario Golf is real simulation just with a fantasy setting. Strikers could be Olympic handball only it wouldn't be as popular. Strikers has 5 players and Olympic handball has 7. I just prefer the real game than their take on it. That's not to say I don't like wacky football games. I loved Nintendo World Cup back in the day on the NES.
  23. Get a 10% off amiibo code to use in the Nintendo UK online store when you buy select Wii U games from the eShop.
  24. I've said worse. I've never gotten into the Mario Strikers game. It's barely football at all. There's too much daft stuff like scoring 5 goals with 1 shot. Anybody remember Sega Soccer Slam on the Gamecube? Anyway, I much prefer the real simulation, PES being the best. Now I'll look for that Zelda rumour. It was so bad, that's why I didn't give it much credence before. http://hiddentriforce.com/zelda-wii-u-and-nintendo-e3-2015-rumors/ There's more rumours about Zelda and other games at the above link.
  25. The Big Nintendo E3 2015 Preview - Game Scoop! 346 I will say before I watch this that I've heard rumours that Zelda will be shown. It won't be playable. There's no great credible source but I'll find it after I watch this video which will be in about 50 minutes. Please no Animal Crossing, no Mario Strikers, definitely no Wii U Music. :p I really think if I had to bet on one new game, it'll be Pikmin 4.
