  1. It did better than both Wii games. When you look at this chart it doesn't seem so bad compared to the others but you've got to wonder how they can afford to keep making them. Those sales figures don't look profitable. The blue bar is week one and the red bar is the lifetime sales.
  2. Yes that's right. According to Media Create Bayonetta sold 135,242 copies on PS3 in its first week and 64,325 copies on the Xbox360 in Japan. It sold 1.35 million worldwide but it didn't meet Platinum's president Tatsuya Minami's expectations. God knows what they think now of 2's sales. It should sell better in the West than Japan.
  3. I don't know if we knew that exactly. We knew why certain characters didn't come back alright because the 3DS was too weak but the reasoning for separate characters is news to me.
  4. http://www.siliconera.com/2014/10/01/zelda-sheik-different-characters-super-smash-bros-3ds/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=twitter&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+siliconera%2FMkOc+%28Siliconera%29 Damn you 3DS, damn you to Hell! Wii U again has to suffer because of your limitations. Seriously though I don't know how I feel about it. Zelda and Shiek were a good combo but turning into Zero Suit Samus after using a Smash ball and then being stuck in that form wasn't good. And I guess now each version of the characters are more fleshed out.
  5. I don't own the game so I'm only guessing but I wouldn't imagine that's how it works otherwise what's the point. People would only ever accept a Network Link where somebody who was lower than them.
  6. Resident Evil Revelations for the Wii U. Finally getting it delivered today after 2 months and 2 different retailers was far scarier than anything I'll encounter in this game. What an absolute f#cking nightmare!

Bayonetta 2 has officially flopped in Japan. Fatal Frame debuts at number 7 and Wii U sales were nearly 10,000 for the week. Smash Bros. 3DS meanwhile continues to dominate the competition. Fatal Frame has to come outside Japan. There's no way they could recoup the costs of development from Japan alone. That's the first time I've seen 3 Wii U games in the top 20 at the same time.

  11. I was the same setting up different colour patterns but it's really not needed by me yet. I'm not like Looney Tunes @Dcubed and his 169 icons and counting. I was just curious to see how it'd look.
  12. Sakurai explains why Smash Bros. 3DS doesn't support the CPP: “Supporting the CCP requires the use of some of the CPU’s processing load. From the information received during the development of Kid Icarus: Uprising, this is a quite large load at around 5%. Kid Icarus: Uprising and Smash both use the maximum capability of the device, so we had to abandon the idea of CCP support. With the New 3DS, we were able to support the C-Stick as the processing power is increased and it is not a peripheral device.”
  13. They even put a pair on her head. The costumes look very nice.
  14. Hurray! The NNID problem is now fixed and it only took over 10 hours to resolve. Result!
  15. How the hell do you have so many icons? Sorry but that's...
  16. A little off? He's downright weird. Wouldn't be surprised if he makes the headlines for shooting up some doughnut shop dressed as Tingle.
  17. Still waiting for the Western page to update. But going from a translation: One piece today. In 3DS, team color was expressed in framing. So, is as? Photos in Wii U version. It is a little thin in the photograph, but the strength of the border with respect to the screen does not change, the more far away, it stands out that is better fighter is displayed in a small size.
  18. Only 150 points short of getting that CD. Really should register a code and finally get something from Club Nintendo for the first time in years instead of continually letting my points expire. That Yoshi backpack for 6,500 points pales in comparison to previous offers like the gold link statue for 7,500.
  19. The update is done. The folders option is there, just can't play online. Continuous 102-2932 anytime I try to access games online or go back to the home menu. Keeps telling me about this agreement but won't let me agree. It's irritating but I'm sure it'll be resolved soon. I don't think we need to consider cancelling this weeks MK8 League night just yet.
  20. Don't be so disingenuous. Did you know this update was coming this morning, was it reported on sites? No you didn't and no it wasn't. We were warned last week about Miiverse maintenance from Thursday to Monday I think, nothing about this was mentioned. You really are unbelievable! I suppose that's why it was reported everywhere.
  21. Just tried it there, still the same error. 102-2932. Says the Nintendo agreement and Privacy policy has been updated but the server or network is busy. I suppose that's good? Still the same problem 7 hours later.
  22. It was amateurish. I don't know if the servers were down but it wouldn't let me play a game online until I'd done the upgrade. Didn't tell me why I couldn't play, didn't tell me what to do, like I said I had to google it to find out what was going on. They could have given us a heads up about this. Yes it's a good update but let us know what's happening. Even after the upgrade it still wouldn't let me go online. And if you want to go there, lol at @Serebii defending Nintendo as per usual.
  23. It's f*cking f*cked up. Took at least 10 minutes to download and another 10 to install. And it still isn't right. no redirect to tell me there was an upgrade, just an error code, had to Google search what was going on, sorry but they're eejits. Teething problems I guess. This is amateurish. Maybe by the morning it'll be sorted. I tried to play a game before the update, just said I couldn't do it but didn't tell me either what I needed to do. Changes that are meant to arise from the update: Version 5.2.0 U: Released September 29th, 2014 Changes to the Wii U Menu: Folders can now be created in the Wii U Menu to hold and organize software icons A Download Management icon has been added to the Wii U Menu Changes to Quick Start Menu: The Quick Start Menu will now display when the Wii U is powered on from the Wii U GamePad TV Remote Options have been added to Power Settings that allow users to hide certain software from the Quick Start Menu Changes to the HOME Menu: The design and layout of the HOME Menu has been updated Changes to the Nintendo eShop: Disabled usage of characters not used when redeeming Nintendo eShop cards (O, I, Z, etc.) Improvements to system stability and usability: Further improvements to overall system stability and other minor adjustments have been made to enhance the user experience
