That sounds about right really. When I say I'm insane, I'm not joking. To be fair, I do suffer from Insomnia at times.

Move aside, Chumps. Let me show you how a real loony does things! Prepare for a tale of woe, constant Astalos fights, Inward Drifting shenanigans and more than a few Kecleon deals. 3DS 95 Titles / 2,860 hours, 17 minutes Hyrule Warriors Legends - 490:49 Monster Hunter Generations - 366:36 Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon - 228:58 Puzzle & Dragons Z + Super Mario Bros. (Because trust me, I did), I should point out my WiiU clock is utterly borked. It can’t keep time right. It’s so bad, it thinks I’ve played nothing last month. Therefore, these times aren’t completely accurate. They’re close enough though. I’ve left out games totalling under an hour, because who cares? WiiU 1,077 Hours and 1 minute Stupid minute... Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team – 200:19 Xenoblade Chronicles X – 199:39 Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky – 144:52 Super Smash Bros. Mini Mario & Friends – 1:29 Mii Maker – 1:23 (There’s a good reason for that, I swear) Child of Light – 1:20 Bayonetta – 1:09 So going by playtime alone, my Top 10 games of utter disbelief and shame are... Hyrule Warriors Legends - 490:49 Monster Hunter Generations - 366:36 Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky – 251:30 (Same game, 2 consoles) Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon - 228:58 Puzzle & Dragons Z + Super Mario Bros. Guess that shows how crummy this year was, huh?

For me, it was Smash Bros. The whole thing was one crazy mental ride from start to finish. The sheer hype when Mega Man was revealed. I'm not even that much of a Mega Man fan and I was going nuts. And then those character reveal trailers started happening, let's face it, I was tuning into Ninty Directs just for those. Everything else was just filler! And then that leak close to the 3DS release sent fans on a massive guessing spree. Is that Bowser Jr? And the... Duck Hunt Dog? "Nah, it can't be real, look at Shulk, that render is just an edited Little Mac" @Dcubed actually said this. It's still funny. That Shulk trailer may just be the most excitable trailer in Smash history, probably because of the music. It didn't even end once the game was out. That DLC! Mewtwo's back! And so's Lucas! Even Roy! Bet you never thought you'd see him again. And he's got shiny new moves that actually make him not crap! But that was only the starter. How about Ryu? Yes, that Ryu. Smash Bros. taught me more about playing Street Fighter than Street Fighter 4 did. I can actually pull off a Shoryuken now! And then Cloud came along. What!? Isn't he more associated with Sony? Sakurai don't care, he's certifiably nuts! And then the Smash Poll. You choose the next DLC character, as long as it wasn't Goku, don't be idiots, guys. I'm sure there were many suggestions that were pretty run-of-the-mill. Luckily, us Europeans hijacked the Poll and got Bayonetta in. Giving Shulk a new British friend to play with. You're welcome, world. Also, Corrin was there. But the biggest moment for me, bigger than all that nonsense above, was beating Classic 9.0 without losing a life! I did it with Yoshi and I was physically shaking during the second Master Fortress fight. Ending with the most almighty triumphant "YES" I've ever shouted in a game. Only Smash could pull that off and I loved every second of it. I'm still terrible with Mega Man though...

I turn my TV down to 1 and I can STILL hear the boot-up music! Why is it so loud? Anyway, I finished it myself, @Dcubed pretty much covered everything I would have said.
-
I think that's because we had added each other on our WiiU Friends List. Well, it worked, you showed up on my list. That was an ordeal. Makes you appreciate the Online system X/Y had, that's for sure. Anyway, enjoy your Pikachu, you can definitely say you worked for it.
-
I think I have to add you as well. Give me a minute. OK, I've added you. You probably have to go to your Friends List to confirm that we're friends and log back on.
-
It also takes time for the GTS to update with my trade. It's very uncertain. Ah, I see. I might have to add you as well. Or did it say that you're now friends with me? Anyway, Friends tend to get priority on the Name List.
-
That runs the risk of someone else taking it. You'd also have to give me a specific Pokemon. Have you got me on your Friends List? That might help.
-
Yeah, mine is on Available anytime. I can't find you. On your Profile, have you enabled Communications with Guests? Great, now some guy called 'Johan' is trying to trade with me... This system is awful.
-
Hmmm... I'm definitely online. Try pressing update on the name list. Failing that, what's your trainer name? See if I can find you. That's not me. I don't use GTS. It's definitely Link Trade. That's clearly one of my many evil me's. This one has a lisp.
-
Link trade. That'll bring up a list of people currently online. Find my name and tap that.
-
Yep, not surprised. This isn't very intuitive. So once you enter Festival Plaza... 1. Tap the Blue icon on the bottom right. It looks like a Mobile Signal icon. This connects you online. 2. Tap Trade, then Link Trade. 3. Tap my name to send a trade request.
-
Right, I'll be on Festival Plaza in about 10 minutes with your Pikachu, @Aneres11 My Trainer name is Glen, although that's pretty obvious.
-
Righto, what time tomorrow do you want to trade? I'm far too tired tonight to make that Pichu happy, so I'm just shoving it in Poke Pelago while I sleep. EDIT: Uhhh, I can't change the nickname though. I'm not the Original Trainer. Unless you mean you want me to breed one for you?
-
Yeah, the trials do just feel like el cheapo Gyms to me. You're not alone. SOS Battles are incredibly infuriating when you're just trying to do a playthrough, but for getting competitive Pokemon, they're really useful. I don't have a Pikachu at the mo. But I can get one for you by tomorrow. As long as you don't mind any old nature. Actually, Aegislash works best if it goes last. So less Speed is more beneficial. The thing's all about taking hits, switching form to deal crazy damage, then using King's Shield to go defensive immediately on the next turn to avoid heavy damage.
-
Got around to watching this. Wow, that Lapras really caught you off guard, but you pulled it back nicely. Who knew Z-Sleep Talk could be so dangerous? I also approve of the name you gave your Metagross. Anyway, here's the code for my match against Red. It's not as interesting, but it shows that Red's team isn't all that great. C87G-WWWW-WWW3-EKTW I just beat Blue in Double Battles, and it was a much more interesting fight. DDWW-WWWW-WWW3-EKZ2 And just for kicks, a battle between @Ugh first aid and I using our playthrough teams. E6JW-WWWW-WWW3-EKUE

Yeeeeaaahhh. I don't believe that's legit one bit. No-one gives that kind of stuff away through Wonder Trade. I don't use Wonder Trade because I don't trust anyone online.
-
No Guard is not saving this thing. It's horrendously slow, has terrible defenses and Stone Edge is the only thing that really benefits from that ability. Machamp does it better. Get a Machamp.
-
So, now that I'm working on getting some competitive versions of Pokemon I like, I looked up Midnight Lycanroc. Wow, this thing got totally shafted by the Midday version, huh? Sorry, Midday form took the Priority Rock move, despite already taking the very high speed stat, I'm afraid all we have left is a slight increase to your defenses and Counter. Bloody Counter! No-one who isn't Wobbuffet uses Counter! The slight increase to Defense and Sp. Defense is not enough to save it. It's hilariously frail. The thing is worthless! Still breeding one

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Wii U / Switch
Glen-i replied to darkjak's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Oh damnit! I accidently clicked on the WiiU thread instead of the Zelda: BOTW one, didn’t I? -
For the record, this is why I don't shiny hunt. It sucks, but on the plus side, if you look at it's model on the Pokedex and then back out, the picture shown on the top screen will change to that. This also works with Kantonian Pokemon, Mega Evolutions, and the different forms. These even have completely new Pokedex entries! Which means that one guy who said Megas don't count as seperate Pokemon because they didn't have their own Dex entries now has to eat Murkrow Pie. (That might have been someone on GAF, it was quite a long time ago)

BTW, forgot to mention this, but...

Good for you, I'm sure you represent the average mobile gamer perfectly. Except that that's not what they're aiming for with Run. They're looking to get people to transition to their bigger titles. Those kind of people complaining about the price were never gonna buy a 40 quid Mario game. The fact that NSMB Wii has charted again on Amazon (I think it was Amazon) shows promise for Mario Switch.
-
Of course, while they're at it, might as well never use an IP that doesn't sell big numbers, cancel the Switch, and focus on games that nickel and dime players and never make console games ever again. Investors don't care one itty-bitty bit about Ninty's long term future, it's all about that short-term profit, y'all!
