I think a lot of assumptions are being thrown out about the voice chat. Mostly because we have no clue whether the voice chat with friends is restricted to Private Rooms/Public Rooms/The mobile app. It's too early to declare stuff yet, but there's certainly precedent on the subject.

I find a Mimikyu that doesn't instantly use Swords Dance. Naturally, I'm flabbergasted, but do I cope? P7DG-WWWW-WWW7-57L8 My favourite match of yesterday. Remember the nutty gambit I pulled last month? Yep, I took the opportunity to try it again. The results were... well, I won't say here. Maybe I should patent that. Need to think of a catchy name for it... How about the "Glen Volt Rai Switch?" HKCG-WWWW-WWW7-57NQ What is it with everyone wearing stupid ridiculous glasses this month? This match has it all, someone pulls a horrific start, I get annoyed at a Mimikyu, again, and the Nuke button is thoroughly pressed.

Give me some enjoyment. Like, seriously? Do you read any of my posts? Hi, my name's Glen. I never enjoyed Splatoon for the whole week I tried it out. It was incredibly boring. In other words, I kinda think it's a bit rubbish.

Funny you say that. 2 V 2 is where @Dcubed and I exceled. Yeah, we gave it a go, I'm sure we were the only ones there as a duo. No-one playing this has actual friends, it seems. Not gonna lie, I have to eat my words. This game is fun. Definitely have to practice blocking and curving punches. But that hour flew by. Was starting to get the hang of working out a strategy. Kudos ARMS, you did what Splatoon couldn't. That said, it's very multiplayer focused, so I won't be buying it myself.

OK, through a combination of @Glen\-i that was INTENSE. Yeah, that last GP in particular was mental. Each race was bloody close between the two of us. Lovely and tense! That happened to me twice. Get a mushroom, go for a shortcut, get jacked by Boo, proceed to utterly panic as you try to get back on track. It's the new "Use a lightning right when 1st place is gliding over a hole", isn't it?

I kinda forgot about that. Funny to think that the series suddenly started reviewing quite a bit better as soon as Tri came out. (Was gonna be released on PS3, but it was too expensive, nothing to do with what I'm saying but still interesting) I remember something being said about some peeps at Ninty giving pointers on making Tri more accessible. Worked like a charm on me. I loved Tri.

I might give it a shot. Then again, Pokemon Sun is having an online tournament this week, and that just seems more appealing at the moment. I'm getting the same impression with this that I got in the run-up to Splatoon. Nothing about it excites me. That title screen music makes me want to rip my eardrums out. Which is worrying, because at least Splatoon had OK music.

Yep, I agree, utterly stupid way of thinking. But I do understand the point about how some people would skip over a Switch version for a prettier PS4 version. Then again, some would nix the PS4 version for the portability and Off-TV option the Switch version would provide. Anyway, MH XX isn't gonna be multi-platform. It was obvious Ninty had exclusive rights on this title. Whether that exclusivity goes on to future installments is another thing.

About an hour before it starts would be best. But chances are there'll be more than enough room, so as long as you're in the room before the time set, you're good. And you're more than welcome to bring your girlfriend. You know, now that you've told everyone, there should be no problem. I remember someone doing exactly the same thing last year. Eh, I'm cool with this, I always said that I'd only get this if it came out on Switch. Plus, I won't have to pay for online because I can just play with @Dcubed and @Ugh-First-Aid locally.

My guess would be the Sand Seal Race. That or the one involving the Zora Ceremonial Spear.

I've missed N-E League. Very funny moments, even if I can't declare my motion control usage. All 3 Pimp Crowns are mine! @Dcubed had a serious tendency to hit himself with Green Shells on the third GP. That's what he gets for going out of his way to screw me over. And I not once attempted to return the favour. Here's hoping the numbers pick up.

I looked up some gameplay of the first level, it has a very oppressive feeling to it. I like it. That's another game on my "to buy list"

Sun/Moon got an update lately, mostly bug fixes. While I'm at it, registration for the next online competition has started on the Global Link website. People who enter can get a Tyranitarite, Abomasite and a Manectite.

Yeah, fair enough, but it still doesn't stop it being a pretty lame colour option. I still maintain they should have had it half Pink, half Green instead.

Sshhhh... No-one mention that the Switch is a hybrid.
