Nothing still? This screenshot suggests that there should be a "Select Pokémon" button, but I didn't see it.
-
Yes, @Serebii confirmed as much. Try again, see if there's a way to close the room once I join, see if that starts something.
-
OK, I'm in, but I don't see a way to choose what Pokemon I want to offer. There's a timer though? EDIT: OK, timer ran out and now the room is closed. I couldn't see a way to offer my Bulbasaur.
-
I'm curious in how well it works so we'll do it through Home. Maybe it'll go entertainingly wrong. Can't be as horrendous as the N-E Sun/moon trading fiasco. Just gotta transfer the Bulbasaur to Home. EDIT: OK, good to go, @Ike If I'm understanding rightly, you have to open a room and give me the ID. And then I can join, even with a Free plan.
-
Don't get me wrong, the movie is great until the last 10 minutes. Just those 10 minutes make the whole thing feel misguided.
-
@Ike I have your Bulbasaur hostage if you want to pick it up?
-
Just making sure @Vileplume2000. What's your trainer name again? EDIT: Never mind, I remember. Cheers, you saved me from having to play Let's GO. A fate worse than death.
-
Sure, I'll open a room with the code 3720 now.
-
Anyway, with the Alolan Starters now in circulation in Sword/Shield, if anyone here ever happens to get their hands on a Hidden Ability Rowlet or Litten, let me know. Especially Litten, Incineroar is both a Pokémon I like and arguably one of the best starters competitively.

That game has one of the best minigames in Kirby history. Kirby Quest is fun, and a horrible tease of how good a Kirby RPG would work.
-
You could just ask me? Or anyone else on N-E who chose Squirtle on Pokémon Home? I wouldn't rely on GTS if you don't want a hacked Pokémon. Golden rule ever since GTS was a thing.
-
Despite my misgivings about that one aspect, it's a good movie. I did enjoy the journey. Destination was utter poo though. The animation is really nice and exaggerated, which fits the slightly goofy tone of Dragon Quest, and the majority of DQV's story works well for a movie, voice acting was pretty great too. But the pace is a bit frantic (40 hour RPG, less than 2 hour movie, valiant attempt) and I had to explain a few plot points to @Ugh first aid (Basic knowledge of how DQ games play, but hasn't actually played the fifth one.) But we were both enjoying it until...
-
Not necessarily. You could catch wild Squirtle in Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon, although why anyone would use a Dive Ball on Squirtle is beyond me. So... Probably hacked, but not guaranteed. If the parent Squirtle is from Home, then it's defo hacked.
-
Yeah, I'm good now. Thanks anyway. Not necessarily, we might not be able to trade directly, but we can, um... ...look at each other's bindings? Oh, and what sprite they chose! ...woooooo! Oh well, I can still trade directly with @Ugh first aid and @Dcubed at least, so I'll get some use out of it. Why do I get the distinct impression that Nintendo didn't want people circumventing NSO by trading through the Home app?
-
Don't feel obligated to do that just for trades. I'm fine with trading in Sword/Shield. @Vileplume2000, are you available on your Switch now?
-
OK, @Vileplume2000 got the three Pokémon and sent them to my Home Box. Gonna open the app now. EDIT: Ah, problem. Friend Trade can only be done locally. Not so cool. Unless you have a premium subscription, we'll have to trade in Sword/Shield.
-
It's cool. Had to try. I'm sure @Ugh first aid has loads. Huge Pokémon GO fan. Might be worth offering her something nice.
-
I was mistaken, if both people are on the app at the same time, you can tap that name to ask them to start a trade. Really cool. Why can't Sword/Shield be that straightforward?
-
No, if you want to trade with friends, you have to both be on at the same time. And it seems that the person hosting the room needs a Premium subscription. So @Ike, we might have to trade in-game if you don't have that. EDIT: Seems I might be wrong. I saw Vileplume2000 pop up and it seems I can start a trade with him in the app. Impressive. I haven't actually got any of the Pokémon on your list yet. So give me a moment. If you have a spare Meltan, I'd love that. Not essential though.
-
Yeah, that'd be great. Let me just breed a Bulbasaur and then I want to try out this newfangled mobile phone trading. Oh, I've sent a Friend Request to everyone who posted their code here.
-
Actually, seeing as I'm getting Home, I'll be able to help with HA Bulbasaur. By the way, my Home code is LPRLTKMVLNAC
-
Oh then, I might as well pick that up at least. Oh BTW, @RedShell hate to be that guy, but I only just found out that the Kanto starters from Home have their hidden ability and the Bulbasaur you gave me doesn't have Chlorophyll. Squirtle's Rain Dish isn't all that, so I don't mind having Torrent, but Venusaur really needs that ability. You think you could get a Chlorophyll Bulbasaur for me?
-
Oh well, Arcanine. You had a good run while it lasted...
-
Tonight 8pm is good for me. And yeah, don't have Home, unless you can trade with people on the free plan?
