Very slick! Love it when I manage to totally blindside someone trying to use Roost. Corviknight users can be very easy to predict. They love running Roost. And my Excadrill loves smacking them with a Ground move when they try it. My guess would be that Magikarp user was just in it for the shirt and wasn't even trying to win.

Just to cover the bases, I'd like you both to try and take a screenshot at the end of each race that shows what place both of you came. Much like the example I gave on the opening post. That way, it'll be less likely that you won't record it if one of you spaces. Have fun, and remember, it's the B Button to accelerate.

I was only watching and even I got annoyed! A true "unlimited force versus immovable object" scenario.
-
Bloody hell, it's past 11! That flew by! Oh well, we beat it once so I can say I did it. Thanks for the help!

Yep, you notice how there's no Max Raid option on the Y-Comm like with trades and battles? She has to join you with the stamp that pops up.
-
Yeah, she'll find it very hard to join your room then if you're the host.
-
Wait, have you even got her on your friends list? Because that might be why she couldn't see you. EDIT: Yeah, you don't. Her FC is 5697-4258-4783

There's basically three different Mewtwos here. The Nasty Plot one, The Calm Mind one and the Physical based one. The Calm Mind one starts with a shield and gets 4 attacks, so it's by far the toughest one because Prankster isn't as effective.
-
Yeah, that went tits up really fast. BTW, @Hero-of-Time, @Ugh first aid couldn't find your room, so it might be worth using a Link code. EDIT: That cheer Defense boost was just the icing on the unlucky cake! Completely useless.
-
Nicely done, even with that other person refusing to use items. That was close though!
-
Man, when this Mewtwo goes for me, it goes for me hard!
-
I think we could do it without a CPU Throh @Ike Got unlucky there.
-
Yeah, I had the same kind of thing. Weird. I'll jump on as well in about 10 minutes.

There @Julius! I've finished Chrono Trigger yet again. I hope you're happy! Because I am, that game is just such a perfect short RPG. Frog is still the best party member by far. Stick one of the two Haste Helms on him and no-one can keep up with his great party heals! Awesome. Plus, that Masamune critical rate is delicious! Sure, he doesn't have any Ultimate level magic, but that's what Crono and a certain other party member is for. The final boss only managed to get one attack in on me before I got it locked into a cycle of it reviving the other parts, me almost immediately killing them and then whaling on the main part while it wasted time getting the revive tech going again. Repeat until victory. That said, I always wonder why Frog talks like that? The faux Shakespeare is great and all, but no-one else in 600 AD talks like that. Anyway, still a great game. I hope it comes out on the SNES online app so more people will give it a shot.

Super Mario Maker 2 challenge - June challenge has started!
Glen-i replied to Sméagol's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Yep, I agree with No on everything as well. Especially on the early uploads. I feel it made my decision a lot fairer when I played each of the levels in quick succession and they were all fresh in my mind. Of course, once the challenge results are in, editing is fine by me. -
@drahkon Animal Crossing is definitely more of a "Short play sessions every day" thing for most players. It lasts a very long time, but there's no concrete goal. Which could be a good or bad thing depending on your viewpoint. The original Rescue Team had the shortest main plot of the 4 PMD games. You'll see the credits in less than 20 hours. If you're the kind of person who plays a game, watches the credits roll and then immediately moves on to the next title, then you're not gonna get as much value as the other two games you listed. But Rescue Team has a surprisingly large amount of post-game content. Really long and difficult dungeons are there to explore which can be very unforgiving. Some of them can take you just short of 2 hours to get to the end, and if your party faints, you're starting from the beginning. There's some plot to it too, which is nice. Decent plot too, which is unusual for a Pokémon game. That said, remember in the demo, there are a bunch of question marks on the screen that shows your file? Each one marks some kind of milestone. There were 12 in the original game, while this Switch version seems to have 18. So there's almost definitely new content for this remake. So it'll no doubt be longer as a result. As long as you don't drop the game once you see the credits, Rescue Team DX will last you quite a while. Especially if you aim to complete every dungeon. Which is approaching impossible, some of those post-credits dungeons will curb stomp you hard.

Super Mario Maker 2 challenge - June challenge has started!

Pretty much, apart from the Dry Bone Shell and the shell helmets Mario can wear, you can use those. And no Kuribos Shoe if you use one of the NES styles. -
Ok, no response. @Sméagol and @Vileplume2000, go ahead and organise a time at your earliest convenience. I can postpone the start of the next month for up to a week to give you time to play your matches. Just remember to record the results of each race. (50cc, unless you both agree to do 100cc, 3 different cups) And let me know when you get them.

Check it out, all of @martinist and @S.C.G's stats perfectly match! I know 5 nights is a bit early, but it's still impressive. @S.C.G performed the Loser's Gambit this week and nominated @drahkon, he beat him in 2 GP's, so gets 5 extra points in each of them. Yes, I'm counting the second GP. Firstly, it was outside of @S.C.G's control that @drahkon couldn't make the first race and secondly, he was so far ahead that @drahkon couldn't catch up, even with a win in that first race. Next League Night: 5th March 8pm Room 1: @BowserBasher is host @Glen-i @BowserBasher @martinist @S.C.G @RedShell @viceview51 You're damn right I'm shoehorning Pokémon Mystery Dungeon into a theme! My most anticipated Switch game is coming out next week and I'm celebrating by forcing you all to come along for the ride. In keeping with the universe of this series, your character choices are limited to non-humans. These characters are: Yoshi (Any colour is fine) Koopa Troopa Shy Guy (Any colour is fine) Lakitu King Boo Donkey Kong Bowser Dry Bones Bowser Jr. Dry Bowser Lemmy Larry Wendy Ludwig Iggy Roy Morton Isabelle Sign up Now!

As long as it's just the shell, then yes. Same goes for Buzzy Beetle and Spiny Helmets. -

Snow variant is fine. Spike balls by themselves are OK, but should not be more prominent then Spike himself. and no Kuribos Shoe, I don't want any other enemies showing up. Mario Party 10's 2nd best character deserves all the spotlight. -

Righto, I want all our levels to focus on Spike (The enemy). And not just that, but I don't want you using any other enemies. I think Spike is a pretty versatile tool, and we should see what nonsense we can make him do with the various other aspects. -
Oh right, I got distracted by Pokémon battling and forgot. Cheers for that.
-
It won't be a problem for me. But if you're going to that football stuff, shall I take you off of the Always IN list?
-
Dusknoir has the same problem that Cursola has. With Eviolite around, Dusclops getting an evolution only made Dusclops more viable. I'd be happy to do some raids later though. Hopefully we can get a full N-E room going. EDIT: I just asked @Ugh first aid if she's interested in helping out and she is. She's gonna dig out her competitive Sableye from last generation.
