It was a great game at the time but I've tried going back to it and its never reeled me in for a second round. But it is a solid FPS which leaves you dangling with a cliffhanger which I doubt will ever now be satisfied outside of comic books.

If you just stand on the spot at a gig you're not in the experience. You need to get to a good gig with some decent music that picks up the pace, a band that knows how to involve the audience. Then you need to move into the pit, dance a bit, throw yourself around and let go, maybe even hit some people if its that kind of show. Standing in the back area watching the more fun people dance really isn't going to make for a great impression of gigs.

lol so what? It's the amount you're paying that matters. If you take into account that an equal job would earn more dollars than it would pounds, and the actual economy, not the numeric value... Not only that but I am English, I'm only here for a bit, and my account is all in pounds, so if I buy an Xbox 360 with my card then check my account, its going to be my money in pounds that has decreased, by less than if I bought it in the UK. Incidentally I'll probably wait until after Christmas anyway. These days games aren't quite as important to me, although I would love to get my hands on the new Perfect Dark. No doubt after Christmas availability will be much more realistic and there may even be a sale. Back on the subject of prices, EBgames (remember EB right? Erm... the UK price is about £279.99 right? Well $399 is less than that, only £225.

£100 is still a lot to some people and then if you want to play PS3 games you end up buying both, just doesn't seem the best option to me.

If PS2 games are interesting you, I wouldn't pick one up this late on in its life, but instead wait for the PS3 to take advantage of its backwards compatibility (I assume? haven't checked). Alternatively if the Xbox 360 is also peaking your interest and you don't want to shell out for both, you might want to wait until Christmas and pick up a PS2 cheap, or maybe second hand. Some people might be selling their PS2 to put cash towards an Xbox 360.

I like this thing that's real easy to make called Chopped-ham and Pork Supper. Just nuke pasta, add chopped ham and pork and a cheese sauce with some tomato puree, plus onions if you like em (yuk), sprinkle grated cheese on the top and cook on 6 for 30-40 mins. Simple is best. I also like sandwhiches and sausages (lolol insert 'gay' jokes)

Christmas stuff out the day after Halloween? Hmm, I'm in the US too and it's much worse than that. HSN have been selling Christmas stuff since July, and things have been in the shops since September. 2 weeks ago I saw Christmas trees and a giant inflatable snowman in a ball complete with fake snow for $299 at Wal Mart.

Seriously considering getting one of these but its so much money :/ my birthday rolls around 4th december so... I have decisions to make. If I decide to get one hopefully I can get one while I'm in the US so that it's cheaper and I get it sooner PD0 looks great, but on the games channel here I've heard that its not living up to expectations?

retro-lover makes a good point, look at white ninja comics, although the artist behind it obviously has skills, it shows that a simple style can provide great humour. I guess the way to go is: if you can't draw great, don't try. Nothing Nice to Say (punk webcomic) had an arc of scribbly strips that were hilarious - I think Mitch made 'lol amirite' an internet-funny (or they stole it from someone else who did, either way I saw it there first).

Windowblinds is, unfortunately, one of those programs that covers instead of changing. So it sucks a lot of RAM and slows down your system. I'd seriously consider applying msstyles instead.
