available from argos for full whack plus delivery! but they are reliable. Due to the likely demand, Argos is expecting to sell all its stock before the launch on 25th April. Only by ordering your Wii Fit now can we confirm that you will get one. £4.95 home delivery charge applies to all pre-orders. All orders of the console will be delivered from the date of launch. Argos will only take pre-orders against a pre-agreed launch allocation from the supplier. Argos will not start taking pre-orders until this allocation is known. Argos will stop taking pre-orders when this allocation has been sold. Argos will never knowingly oversell the Wii Fit. Argos will endeavour to deliver on the launch date, however should the supplier fail to deliver on time or part deliver on launch date, Argos will deliver to customers in strict chronological order, which may be after the launch date. Argos cannot be held responsible should the release date slip. Should this happen, Argos will keep you notified and either deliver on the revised date or offer a full refund. Wii Fit must be connected to a Wii console for it to work.

Wii Freeloader Thread - FAQ & Info in First Post
blender replied to DiemetriX's topic in Nintendo Gaming
i havent read anything but if you use unofficial software (and even unofficial peripherals) why would nintendo support you? Seriously, its just common sense. I dont think nintendo would intentionally brick your wii for playing freeloader as this is not in their interests. However, I doubt they would test their regional updates on alternative region consoles force loaded using freeloader. (Yes, firmware is regional.) -

yes that should be covered... It is not unknown for the firmware to become corrupted especially if there is a power cut midway. (Nothing to do with freeloader) However, if you use a USA update on your EU wii and its screwed, nintendo could screw you if it is obvious that this has happended -

this guy has it working (usa smash + UK freeloader). so it seems to work now (but will most likely FAIL when downloadable content and addons become available.) http://www.officialnintendomagazine.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=7337&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=425&sid=b7dbe3668b816eee7375af8abc202f6a Apparently, it involves a double insertion of the disc and then a historectomy -

then it is only logical that brawl will FAIL -
as i expected, the ds tracks look awesome (as they are the same as ds).. the cups just look to complicated with too many routes and tricks.... i.e. not enough racing 8.8 Great!

it would be cool, if someone could mod it so that it works equivalent to the wii VC controller
-
snaking is cheating? speaking of cheating, I bet some dork comes up with a hardware mod that fools the wii in thinking that a "normal controller" is the wii wheel. THe wii wheel is going to be harder to use. Therefore, a lamer would look good with such a mod.

Has gaming got better since you started playing?
blender replied to tapedeck's topic in Nintendo Gaming
no its got worse. I think the problem is that I spend to much money on new games rather than obsessing with the ones I do own. The other problem is that many games are more like crack! rather than fun. I think the online elements have made it way too social which is bad for my social life if you know what i mean. -
the vid looks a bit slow but is it on 150cc or what i wonder

Will downloadable content shape the industry?
blender replied to tapedeck's topic in Nintendo Gaming
imagine if the wii masss storage device is the new gameboy (like sega's visual memory unit). It takes AGES to get the ideas nintendont. -
i hope someone still makes an olympic game and the license that sega got wasnt some kind of exclusive.... maybe the balance board is a good excuse to make a sequal.... anyway, this game seems to be coming back in stock slowly so more chances to get a copy

Will downloadable content shape the industry?
blender replied to tapedeck's topic in Nintendo Gaming
i think the next gameboy will be centred around downloadable content like the ipod.
