No I don't think. The GCN/PS2/Xbox era launched online gaming in consoles. Online PC gaming was already a thing. Dreamcast had been there and done it. But that gen all three consoles had it and launched it. By the next gen it was standard. The username probably gives away whether or not I played PSO.
