    Agree with everything. It's quite probable solid state memory will be exponentially cheaper by the time. I have always been a supporter of cartridges, like the DS for the reasons you listed. The only thing I think is not possible is the removal of the sensor bar. I don't think it's possible for a TV to emit light in non visible frequencies (as IR). And yep, I remember Miyamoto saying Wii 2 will be HD, but that's kinda obvious. It will probably be the underdog in the horsepower category again, so that we don't have to pay 599€ for it.

    Smash Bros 64 was the game that got me into most of the Nintendo series. I Only knew a few characters of Smash and decided to play games that had the other characters. That's when I discovered the likes such as the Metroid series. What an awesome idea it was.

    I don't think RAM would be a problem. Voice chat is really non demanding on that. But Nintendo won't do it anyway. Concerns about not sufficient bandwidth for voice chat + smooth 4 player of Brawl or 12 player MK would also suffice. It does? Didn't know. But still, I highly doubt Nintendo prepared the Wii to be compatible with USB hubs. Anyone here can test it? Would be nice to know.

    And since when is the Wii compatible with those things? If it is, it's news to me. It's not a computer where you can install drivers freely.

    That's too bad. But I know that making a 2D game in widescreen is way harder than a 3D one, where you simply have to widen the maximum viewing angle and a few minor tweaks. Also, what Hellfire said about 2D level design.

    It's really a shame and saddening to read that. It's a vicious cycle. They learn that what sells is the Ubisoft crap and they want more Ubisoft in the shop, or other half-assed games. Then that's what everyone will buy, as you said. It's the same scenario we saw over here during the PS2 reign. GC was not even on sale most of the times nor the games. Only this time is between games of the same console.

    My brother finished the 100 man brawl with all 35 characters the other day. I finished it with some too. It's not that hard. Now, 15 min brawl will be a feat.
