mate one of my favourite games is silhouette mirage... it's not just about one game's style... it's about wii getting a decent mix of games in all styles... so far, the pitch isn;t any better than the gc. the fact that dewey is getting so much press when on other formats it would be an 'also ran' should show how the situation really is

as i said above... i was a staunch wii supporter... i was outside game at 5am on launch day. that excitement hasn't followed through. now i've played most of the games out... i just don't think it's that great. it's neat, but no great. thats just my opinion.

dewys adventure is not being touted as one of wii's 'worst' games though is it... it's a MAJOR new game from konami! LOL

and are they seven games i want to keep? NO. anyway, what's that got to do with this thread?

'matt ign reveals new wii titles' and everyone wishes he didn't because they all sound utter shite. Didn't someone say this wasn't meant to be like the gamecube?

It a question of semantics, I just took of the list all the games which are obviously gamecube titles that have been shifted over... things like paper mario, battalion wars, marios strikers... they are all games that have been shifted to wii wth little in the way of enhancement... and the games which are already out in the states, because none of them are interesting - TO ME. i mean... excite truck? Burnout it ain't. the games i left on the list are all interesting though. not sure why you're getting so worked up about it to be honest. If you all think the wii is so great, you should be happy.... and i haven't exactly slated it. Just said that having been there and done it... It left me cold. surely i'm allowed that opinion. if trying something and deciding it's not quite how you expected it to be makes you a prick, then we are all pricks. But at least i'm speaking from the position of having had one. NO.... HD is a huge leap. just try getting someone to show you a 360 at 480p (which is the max wii res) and then switch to 720p. the difference is massively obvious before you even start thinking about things like shaders and lighting.

NOW Delete the gamecube ports... and the games already out... Animal Crossing Big Brain Academy Disaster: Day of Crisis Fire Emblem: Goddess of Dawn Forever Blue Metroid Prime 3: Corruption Project H.A.M.M.E.R. Super Mario Galaxy Super Paper Mario Super Smash Bros. Brawl Wii Health Pack Wii Music .... oh look.... fable 2, halo 3, forza 2, bioshock, mass effect. i'm not sure what your point was again???

They specifically metioned they spent a lot of time getting the best of wii's textures etc, and implemented normal mapping - but dig a little deeper and you find out that it's just on the model of one boss and not throughout the game. If this is what a second-gen wii game looks like... with a team thats got a fair bot of wii work under there belt... well... count me out.

this cannot be for real.... are you guys BLIND? in the ign interview, konami are proud of how far they've pushed the wii.... and it looks SHITE. i was expecting a much bigger visual leap when developers started pushing the machine.

and in the meantime, play gears of war, bioshock, halo 3, mass effect, crackdown, half life 2 ep 2, blue dragon, forza 2, fable 2.... but hey, you guys enjoy metroid at christmas... and dewy's adventure.

yes with both... the 360's online environment is brilliant. it's not untill you play a ps3 and realise how awkward it can be... that you realise MS got it right.

get a 360.... you can get halo3, gears of war, bio shock, mass effect, fable 2, half life ep2 compliation, lost planet, forza 2 - to name but a few. I sold my 360 to get a wii... i've never regretted anything more in my life. good news is, my wii will go for a good whack on ebay, so i should get what i paid for it.

yeah... but i don't buy all that nostalgia crap.... most of those games I still have in the their original form... anyway... bid for my wii...
