As for the style of football Bolton played under him, that was a way of playing suited to the squad he had (Souness once moaned after a defeat "They play a type of football that's suited to the players they've got" as if it was some form of cheating, to which I screamed "It's called ****ing tactics Graeme, maybe you should try it?!" If he tried to play Arsenal style football with that squad they'd have got torn apart, as it was Bolton were a team that the top 4 didn't like to play against because of his effective gameplan.

Reckon that could be disasterous for a small club like Bolton, he got the best out of a distinctly average bunch of cloggers. If his backroom team goes as well they're gonna struggle. Just got my replacement Wii, seems like a totally new unit. Shame I've lost all my Miis, VC stuff, console number etc (Although I did back my saves up). At least I've got a fully functioning Wii tho. I turned it on and I was like "THAT'S how quiet it's supposed to be??!??!??" Would have sent it back ages ago if I realised those sound eminating from my poor Wii were that abnormal! Edit: Cool, it knows which games I downloaded and I can grab them all again without having to repurchase.

OK, just tried playing Gears online for the first time. Had my headset in, but I had the switch set to the left so I thought that meant my mic was off. But there was an echo when people were speaking and some guy was saying it was me that had the echo and to turn my headset down. Does it not mute the mic when the switch is left?

Can't you get RCA>Minijack converters? Probably gonna buy a new pair of speakers anyway like because the ones I've got at the moment are ancient, I'll just make sure they've got both RCA and minijack inputs. Then a VGA switcher to stop me having to swap the cables over and I'll be set.

Haven't set it up on live yet, it's downstairs for now till i get the VGA cable and I can put it next to my router.

Yay, my 360 turned up today, only had time to set it up quickly before work though. My VGA cable's not here yet though so it's on my downstairs telly ratehr than my monitor for now.

Things like picture in picture simply can't be added by firmware updates. There is a severely finite amount of stuff you can do through software to try and keep up with newer hardware.

Just ordered a 360, finally buckled. Premium with GeOW, Crackdown and PES6 for £289 delivered. There's this place in scotland that does it for £50 and then gives you a 6 month warranty. Cool, ta. I know what's going to happen though, because it's tempremental and sometimes works OK, sometimes doesn,t, they'll turn it on, it'll load all the channels and games first time, they'll box it up and send it back...

When you send you Wii back, do you just have to send the actual console, nothing else? The email I got said to send it back "as described in the instuction manual" but I can't find the bit about returning it.
