  1. Yeah, heard that when I got up this morning, emergency board meeting with a possibility of him getting sacked. They had this all the time with Souness though, emergency meeting, press camped outside saying he's about to be sacked, then nowt.
  2. Partying on the streets of Essex tonight then! Darren Fletcher is going to get a Premiership winners medal
  3. It's sorted, they've just pretended there was no verbal agreement after all and Howard could have played but Everton didn't want to play him. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/e/everton/6629661.stm
  4. Saw a woman driving a police car yesterday. Whatever next?
  5. The attacking play in womens football isn't bad, some good goals are scored, but the defense is usually woeful and women keepers are, without exception, utterly crap.
  6. Not only that, but the FA and Carling cup winners won the trophy without losing a single game this year. Got to be good for the English game.
  7. And I'm top by 63 points Bit bit of last night: "You silly person, go away!"
  8. It's a good idea robbing a players house when they're playing. I've been trying to rob Luque's house for months but I've not had the chance.
  9. I don't really have a problem with Scousers, it's just some of their fans are arrogant divine-righters, along with a fair few cockney/Irish/Scottish hangers on who plumped for them because they were winnign stuff when they were growing up. Was at the second last game before the Kop got torn down and there was a good atmosphere. We had some cracking games with them and a good crack after, especially one match where we sang Never Walk Alone and their lot gave us a chorus of Blaydon Races. Canny few of them waited outside and shook our hands afterwards as well (Think we beat em 3-1). Although I know some people who went to Anfeild in the 80s and got variously robbed, spat on and had pool balls and bottles of piss thrown at them in the ground so maybe we were lucky.
  10. Uh-huh. 6 FA cup wins is fuck all, 7 FA cup wins counts for something. A liverpool fan having a go about others living in the past when you rely on league wins in the 1900s to prove you're better than Man U.
  11. I actually went to a match at 3pm on a Saturday last month  Was quite a novelty.
  12. This is what I'm talking about, when it grates that other teams are enjoying more success at the expense of a team with a perceived divine right to honours, stats come out about the fact Liverpool won the league in 1901 and 1905 and Man United didn't. But Newcastle have won "Fuck all" because their FA cup wins and league titles weren't on Sky.
  13. At least some liverpool fans are a bit like that though, singing "You've never won fuck all" to a team that until last year had won the FA cup as many times as them.
  14. Just realised and edited, it's the other one who's spelled reiner innit.
  15. See the scousers celebrated in traditional style by burgling Pepe Reina before he got back from the match
  16. Could you do me a favour and throttle that **** with the bell next time you're at a match? I rate Pompey's support but that guy does my nut in, imagine having a season ticket next to that goon. Someone told me he got banned after getting into a fight in Smogland with some Boro lads last season, but no such luck apparently.
  17. Thought the atmosphere was really disappointing for a semi, but it's understandable considering the long-ball negative football both teams have adopted for European football. Funny to clearly hear the Chelsea lot singing "It's so quiet at Anfield" over the home support though.
  18. Haha, typical scouser, toys out the pram. Someone said a game involving Liverpool wasn't very exciting, better have a minute's silence on Saturday.
  19. Sorry, it was a thrilling match played by two positive teams and an excellent advert for British football.
  20. Crap match for what it's worth, at least these two met before the final.
  21. Yep, must be nailed on Roeder gone by tomorrow (fingers crossed)
  22. Back to more important matters, Big Sam was wearing a black and white tie.
  23. Speaking of the glorious Chelsea, the other week when we drew with them their sparse support (Maybe even less than at the semi final a few weeks ago ) included some smog monsters with a huge banner proclaiming "TEESIDE BLUES" Now I've been to lots of games against Chelsea at St James and I'd certainly never heard of these "Teeside Blues" not too long ago when they were finishing below us in the league
  24. The Scousers really corner the market in cringey, soppy, sentimental shite don't they? I think I'm going to cry. Wait, I mean throw up. Doubt Liverpool will win, think the players and fans are too terrified of losing to Man U in the final.
