Basically shows how shocking they are by Champions League standards, Liverpool should have beaten them away blindfolded. While the players can pull out a great performance when it's do or die, Rafa can't motivate them day in, day out, to beat poor teams with the level of consistancy needed to challenge for the title. Which is why todays Liverpool are a cup team. Of course the fact he puts his twiddly rotation strategy on hold for the make or break games helps as well.

Scratchcard withdrawn because people are too thick to understand it

Factory workers, even if they aren't very academically knowledgeable , still need to have a decent level of intelligence in terms of logic, problem solving, the ability to learn etc. Someone with this kind of feeble grasp on logic shouldn't be allowed near heavy machinery! My great uncle left school at 14 to work in a steel works and he's more than capable of understanding that -5 is colder than -2 -

GCSE? I'm sure I learned about negative numbers in primary school! -
How much money do you think the government has to pay in terms of policing crimes commited by addicts who have to steal in order to get drug money or otherwise face potentially lethal withdrawl? Do you think that will be less than how much it would cost to add one more drug to the list of those perscribed by doctors?

Jean Charles de Menezes' Case: Your Thoughts

All the more reason to hold to account the people who presided over such misommunication, mis-identification, and a general complete fuck up. What if we allow the people in charge, like Ian Blair, to stay in their position and next time we're on RED ALERT they do their Keystone Cops act again and hundreds of people die? By your own better-safe-than-sorry logic we need to sack the lot of them just in case. Or get some guy in jeans and a denim jacket to run at Ian Blair with a handgun and if he runs or looks like he's frightened and like he might run we shoot him seven times in the head. Well, 3 times in the head and 4 times in the stump, I don't know if you can actually phyically shoot someone seven times in the head and still have any head to shoot into. -

He did nothing. He was sitting on a train. The woman next to him says he was sat down, the cops came on and jumped on him in his seat and shot him seven times in the head. Here's a question - what if while the firearms officers were being sent to follow and killcompletely innocent man, without suitiable equipment to keep in contact with their incompetent superiors from underground and being mis-directed by horrific failures in communication were needed to stop a real fucking terrorist on another train and they weren't able to because of this monumental fuck up and thus hundreds of people died? That's a better question. Someone of the remedial logic in this thread is completely off the wall, you might as well have a policy of shooting one person at random a day on the tube in case it saves lives. You might as well go around slashing people's tires in case they cause a fatal pile up. -
When I read the topic I thought it was the name of a new Muse album or something.

I guess that's because like the first game it's a one trick pony that needs the violence gimmick to detract from the dull and repetitive game.

Still buying stuff for my PC Engine, got quite a collection going now. Got an RGB booster to bring the colours up which makes it look much better on certain games. Got an extra pad and a multitap as well (There's only one joypad port to start with). Games I've got now are Mr Heli (card only) PC Kid 3 (boxed ) Ordyne (card only) Parasol Stars (card only) Rastan Saga 2 (boxed) Legendary Axe (card only) World Court Tennis (card only) Motoroader 2 (card only) Space Harrier (boxed) Gradius (boxed) Twinbee (boxed) PC Kid (boxed) R-Type 2 (card only) Still waiting for Parodius, Tiger Road, PC Denjin (AKA Air Zonk), all boxed and Ryukyu (card only) to come from ebay. The last one is a canny puzzle game where you arrange falling card to make poker hands horizontally, vertically and diagonally and get rewarded by revealing artwork. -
Are they? Looks like they're 15th to me http://www.fifa.com/worldfootball/ranking/lastranking/gender=m/fullranking.html

Right this game is driving me mad because I can't do something very simple between chapters 5 and 6.

My four arrived today. Can't imagine I'll use them regularly, they make playing super paper mario rather uncomfortable. Might put them on if I'm having a lot of idiots over to play Wii Sports or something.

No criminals in middle eastern countires where they cut off hands and don't give fair trails is there? Maybe you should move to a judicial paradise like Saudi Arabia or the Yemen, go and try and order a pint and see how great their justice system is.

Sounds like a cracking own goal. Spotted this in the sun today http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/article365647.ece

Turned up Works fine, it's got an RGB modification where someone's hardwired a scart lead inside on the RGB points so it's a really good picture actually. Got TwinBee, Legendary Axe, Gradius, PC Genjin (PC Kid/Bonks Adventure) some tennis game, R-Type 2 (Which is fucking nails) and MotoRoader 2. Parasol Stars on the way from ebay as well. Quite tempted with the CD Drive add on as well, if I can fine one. No region or copy protection on the discs cos it was the first CD-based system. -
Exactly - thanks to the complete and utter failure of a "war on drugs" policy.

It's not about creating a problem, it's about realistically dealing with with instead of being incredibly naive and thinking you can stop people from doing it, or thinking that lying about how dangerous drugs are is a good way of stopping people from doing them. At the moment people get heroin because it's available on the street, it's all around them. If once someone gets hooked they can get their fix for free in a safe place, dealers aren't going to sell heroin any more, it's pointless. It would take heroin off the streets and cripple the cash flow of dealers and drastically reduce drug related crime. People addicted to heroin will get weaned off it under medical supervision, but people are not going to go to their doctor and say "Hey, doc, I feel like taking up heroin." And if they do, I very much doubt any doctor would prescribe it, seeing as you're getting your fix from someone with a vested interest in STOPPING you doing it, rather than getting you hooked.

Just bought a Jap PC engine with 7 games off ebay. Also bought a few extra games off various other sellers. Still waiting for everything though, fucking post strike. -
Not as wacky as people think, would do a hell of a lot to reduce burglery, deaths from drug abuse, muggings and would absolutely bankrupt many heads of the criminal underworld.

Liked 2, althought I'm not convinced the wiimote will be very good in 4-player split screen mode.

That was never a red card. No way it would have happened if it wasn't at old trafford. Glad it did happen though because that result did my fantasy team the world of good. Beat West Ham 3-1 an all, look a completely different team with Milner on the right and Zoggy on the left, Sam really needs to free Charles from his left back role and give up on his 4-3-3. Fifth in the league
-
Was reading the red and white kop forum, they're nearly as knee jerk as us. After beating Derby they were all on about winning the league, now they seem to think there's no chance of getting in the top four and want to sack the chubby waiter.
-
Like I said yesterday, because of Rafa saying "Sorry Fernando, you're going to have to learn to share. Give the other boys a go with the ball and you can play later. Look, you've made Dirk cry. Oh, wait, he always looks like that." That's only because Derby are shite. Anyone could beat them at the moment. Erm, forget I said that.
-
With the players they've got, Liverpool could win the league. If they don't, (and I'd still put my money on Chelsea or Man U ahead of them) it'll be because of Rafa rotating his strikers and benching players who played a blinder in the last game to keep, say, Peter Crouch happy. Just play your form players and have an unhappy Peter Crouch.
