I think the Nintendo-style "retro" sign in retro-lovers' sig would make a cool T-shirt. Also, could you legally put silhouettes of game characters on? That could result in some cool T's. Btw, the link for the t-shirt doesn't seem to be working for me. Could just be my dodgy comp though.

I've read bits of his blog. Maybe I'm being too critical in saying this, but surely someone who's intelligent enough to create games should know the difference between "there" and "their." And it isn't simply a typo because he's done it a couple of times. But from past experience, I prefer to assume it's false, like the majority of other 'secret developer'/'industry insider' blogs.

Can I post a (bigger/better) pic of Ikaruga? I'm glad someone else appreciates the graphics on this...the screenshots don't do it much justice, though. It needs to be seen in motion. I'll also have to add one from Pikmin 2: Sadly I can't find a screenshot that shows this (or the last) level in all it's glory :[

Revolution and shelf space... an important issue...?
Beanie replied to knightendo's topic in Nintendo Gaming
I honestly don't see why it would/should be illegal to buy shelf space or prominent positions when it's already done in supermarkets.* I'm sure that there's many other stores that do it too, like Blockbuster, perhaps. *In descending order of cost, this is how it goes: Right side, middle shelf Left side middle shelf right side, top shelf left side, top shelf right side, bottom shelf left side, bottom shelf And no, I don't work in a supermarket :] -
Hmm..this is a difficult one. I've not listened to the radio for a while, so I doubt any of my tunes are gonna be recent and popular. In no order: Queens Of The Stoneage - First It Giveth Yoji Biomehanika - Samurai Remo-Con - G Sigh Sol Ray & Dark By Design - Nowhere To Hide DJ The Crow - Got Ya (Uberdruck Remix)

I think I'll wait until I've seen some more reviews before buying this one, although it does sound pretty good. Maybe we'll see some more Nintendo-published games from UK developers in the future!

Unlucky Supa. I know how that feels after having my N64 stolen a couple of years back. What annoyed me the most wasn't the games going as such, although of course that did bother me, but it was my high scores that went with them. Anyway, hope you can get some replacements soon.

It's funny that MGS4 is #1?

While that's a nice pic, it's too much like Apple's adverts for my liking.

I found this game for £20 and snapped it up straight away after all the praise I'd heard other people give it. Plus I knew it would be hard to find in my town. It is a very good game, I think it took me around 60 hours to complete and my characters were close to lvl 60. I thought the storyline was great, especially how it made me really want to kick the Armada's ass! I mean after you gain so much (trying to not spoil things for ppl here) and then it's taken away from you...that was a touch of class. The boss battles against the Gigas and some of the admirals were tense, which is just what I like. So yeah, anyone who hasn't played it: Do!

It appears from what people have been saying here that it's more of the same, pretty much, Xino. I think I'll pick it up if I see it at a cheap price. Thanks for the comments lads.

They (the public) may have shown they want innovation, but they've also shown that they still want 'normal' games too. As for glory days...please, let's not get ahead of ourselves. We haven't even seen or played any games yet!

Yeah, I wonder if the handling feels like GE and PD. From what I've read of a scanned preview, it does seem to be coming along better than I've thought. There seems to be a good amount a strategy in the multiplayer with all these sci-fi weapons. I hope the single-player is like GE and PD in that there's cheats to unlock for completing levels within a time limit. That feature added so much to the game.

I'll say 3/5 for yours. Why? Erm..The fingers aren't so clear with the Union Jack colouring and you have some grey shadow under the HM-Fusion text that looks weird. I like the font, though. It's very cool. -
I've recently decided to go through Viewtiful Joe again, this time on Adults. I'm at the part that most people get stuck on, the infamous Magnificent 5. Now, I was wondering, how does VJ2 compare? Harder, better, faster..what? (...innuendos...never heard of 'em...) I've not really read any previews and that, and I'd rather get some 'real' opinions from people on it. Preferable opinions would be from those who have completed and enjoyed the first. Thanks in advance.

Official Nintendo Revolution Controller Shots (56k)
Beanie replied to Cubechris's topic in Nintendo Gaming
I was intially all "WTF!? Nintendo iz teh doomed" and all that, but looking at the pics of people holding it, and the pics of it from all angles, it looks quite alright. Naturally the litmus test is having a play with it ourselves. Nintendo, to me, make decent controllers, so I can't imagine it being that hard to use, or uncomfortable to hold. -
I also am liking the new look of the website and forum. Well done to whoever designed it. I'd just like to say that for some reason my computer seems to have trouble loading the pages quickly. Could be my crappy AOL connection, but other pages load fine (including new pages). Anyway, once again: Well done! Edit: Yes, it was my connection. The site is loading perfectly now.

Well, I used to come here from time to time under the name Beanie Izzo. Nobody will remember me, since I didn't post regularly enough, although of my 90 or so posts, most of them were worthwhile ones. As opposed to "I agree" or "YE LOLLO". I think I'll start posting on here again because I'd given forums a break for a while, but with all this Rev info being released there's going to be plenty to discuss. I'm looking forward to it. :]
