EEVILMURRAY Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 Because I used my housemates hard drive as a hammer [personally I didn't hit the nail that hard], the noise it makes is apparently a sign that it's broke. So muggins here has to provide another. I'm looking for a 120gb new [it has to be new apparently]. I was wondering if anyone knows a cheap place to find hard drives. I'm trying ebay but the price always goes shit high. I'm not versed in the arts of buying PC components online, so any ideas?
Shorty Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 http://www.scan.co.uk and http://www.overclockers.co.uk are quite reputable. Not sure what a good price is for a HDD though. You looking for IDE or SATA?
Ginger_Chris Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 http://www..ebuyer.com their Lacie hard drives are fairly cheap and really reliable. not sure if they do 120Gb version though. I really want to know more about the incident, did you really need to hit a nail that badly?

I don't think it matters, but IDE is preference apparently http://www..ebuyer.com their Lacie hard drives are fairly cheap and really reliable. not sure if they do 120Gb version though. I really want to know more about the incident, did you really need to hit a nail that badly? It was one of those things which holds cables to walls, a tiny nail. Only tapped it but he can't stop bitching. He's getting more on my case now saying "I'm running out of space". I'm still taking my time as he bragged yesterday how a tenth of his memory is porn and all he does is constantly download movies.
